If you are able to even get a hold of someone, their technicians are great. Amanda, the dispatcher, is absolutely awful. She tells you she’ll call you back asap on a part and you’ll never hear from her again. It’s like they don’t even want business.

On time. Quick. Knowledgable. They were able to easily diagnose my dishwasher issue, explain the cause, how to avoid it from happening and walked me through how to fix it if occured again

Protech was selected by my warranty company to repair my microwave. Appointment was set up on a given day with a 11-3 window to show up. Waited until 3 that day and called and received a message via my warranty company someone would arrive shortly. Company never called nor arrived. Still have not hear from them. Would never want to conduct business with this Protech-NEVER.

I read the past few comments and it seems like they were written when the company was shut down around the time when the pandemic reached the US. Anyway, I gave this company a shot. Set up an appointment, the technitian showed up at a set time. It took him 15 minutes to find an issue with my microwave and fix it on spot. In and out, prompt, prefessional and not a rip off like some other companies I used in the past. I highly recommend!

I came in contact with them through my warranty company. They sent someone over to my house to fix a fridge and I was told that they needed to order some parts and will be back after talking to the manger. They never contacted me or anything.

I called their office multiple times and left a voicemail and did not hear back. I had to call my warranty company to get update. Totally fees up and dissatisfied

have dealt with them twice already and they are an amzing company, technicians are on time within the time frame set, knows what they are doing from diagnosis , ordering and parts replacment / install. highly recommended

Brittany and her co-worker of Protech Applicance Repair, LLC provided horrible service and faulty installation. They were sent by American Homeshield to install a downdraft exhaust behind the gas stove. They dropped the appliance on top of the ground electrical outlet, preventing access to unplug the outlet. Then they announced that there was a problem and that they would not be able to complete the installation because the duct would not fit into the available space. As my husband and I tried to discuss solutions, they proceeded to leave, telling us it was not their job to figure out the duct problem. Although the duct was part of the appliance they were supposed to install. They left us with an unusable appliance and told us to hire another contractor to solve the problem. Several text messages and phone calls and no response.

My Microwave had stopped working. Pro Texas repairman brought the parts in advance and fixed the Microwave in just 5 minutes..A great job very well executed.

Horrible service. I was given a window from 10 - 2 to complete my repair and no one showed up. I called their office three times, an hour apart after 2 until the closed and the dispatch gave me a bogus lie that the tech was on the way and would call when in route. I spent an entire work day waiting for them to come and service my refrigerator and no one even gave a courtesy call. So unprofessional. Do not use them. Very unreliable .

I contacted Protech appliance repair to service my Thermodor refrigerator. Tech came same day and fixed it for reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and will be using them again.

This is the worse repair company I have ever dealt with. The home warranty company that I use had selected pro Tech to come out and look at my stove top. After 2 times they are still not sure what the issue is. Yet, when I asked the technician what he was going to report he said that it may be a manufacturing issue. He knew that after the 1st visit but he still reported that the stove top needed new burners. That wasn't the case. Avoid this company if you can.

Diagnosed a fuse on the back of the dryer and then said he had to go back and order the part. I requested the part number and it is something that takes less than 2 minutes to replace, and I can get in 2 days. They were about to charge another service fee, part cost, and labor for 1 minute of work. Moreover, this is a part that if you’re fixing a lot of dryers, you MUST carry with you. But conveniently they would’ve gotten another $100 out of me if I hadn’t done 5 minutes of research.

I had an awful experience with this company recently for the oven repair. My home warranty assigned the job to this company. After the first inspection, they said they need to order new hinges of the oven door. Second time they came to install the new parts and claimed the job was done successfully. When I used the oven the first time after the "so called" repair, the oven door fell off and almost caused a severe accident! The technician from this company came to my home third time and then sent a report back to my home warranty company. The report said the oven door was damaged due to wear and tear and was not in the warranty coverage.

So if the system allowed, I will not give any star to this dishonest company.

Be cautious when you consider to use this company.

During the super hot months of the year in TX, it is hard to find reasonable outfits that will treat you as a human being as opposed to a “target” and simply work with you! These guys did not push extra repairs, they offered best advice and good value at a reasonable price. Wholeheartedly recommending them.
