Constraction reviews in Katy, Texas

The service overall was fantastic. Phillip and his crew did a phenomenal job installing our new roof and price was fair. I would highly recommend him to others who need new roof installations. Clean job and professional!

Cobra Construction owner, Philip Flinn is a credit to the construction industry. He responded to my request within a couple of hours and carried out repairs to my roof within 24hrs. The inspection and maintenance was completed within days. During the 20 years I have lived in TX, Philip is one of the most professional and integral contractors I have done business with.

Phil was absolutely amazing to work with. He was patient and explained the entire process before we signed a contract. He did everything he said he would and on time. He was extremely communicative and available to us throughout the whole process. My new roof looks amazing and we couldn’t be happier! I’m looking forward to working with them on future projects.

I have been using Philip for years and he is my go to person with any issue relates to roof. He can do much more and he does the correct thing. Phillip is an honest business owner and it is very hard to find from my previous experiment with all sorts of the contractors. We had a server storm right after the roof installation and the new roof is storm-proof. He honors 50 years of warranty of his work and that exceeds the roof lifespan by like 20-30 years. It is a confidence that many other contractors are lacking- stand for your work! I would give him 10 stars if google allows me.

I needed a small fix for my fence door after a storm, which also wrecked several fences and roofs in my neighborhood . Most handymen were taking advantage of the situation, giving unreasonable quotes. Philip was not only v. responsive for the small job and but also very reasonable. This company has my future business for anything to do with fencing and roofing etc.

After getting a referral from Angie's List, I contacted Phillip Flinn of Cobra Contracting & Construction LLC to inquire about installing siding on my patio. He referred me to a siding contractor that he works with that performs the work. He was very cordial and professional with assisting me with this. I then asked him if he would take a look at a leaking issue that I had with my roof once the siding was done. He came out to my house and assessed what was needed. He stated that once the siding was completed that he would come out and perform the repairs. After the completion of the siding installation, he did come out and repaired the roof and fortified some areas that needed it. I could not have asked for a more more professional and nicer person to deal with. He treated me like I was a member of his family and he took care of my roof. I highly recommend Cobra Contracting to deal with any all roof issues. You will be in good hands.

Phillip was highly recommended by a previous customer on Nextdoor. He came by to assess the roof for damages and give an estimate on repairs. He is very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. After examining the roof, he thoroughly explained the needed repairs. There was a rotten area that needed to be replaced along with the pipe jack. There were several shingles missing from the ridge. Not only did he replace the missing shingles, but he replaced all of them on the ridge. It was a very professional job and I am very well-pleased. His rate was really reasonable and he was able to schedule me in 3 days. I plan to use him to replace my carpet with laminate.

After Harvey we felt that our insurance was taking advantage of us with our claim. We hired Philip Flinn (Cobra Contracting & Construction llc) to take over he worked with our carrier and when it was all over we received a brand new fully warrantied roof. We love our beautiful roof and he and his team stood by their motto “We do what we say and say what we do” we appreciate his hard work and highly recommend Cobra contracting & construction

Bought a home and roof was compromised. Original roofer would not honor warranty and was just a thorough jerk, to phrase it politely. Philip at Cobra was such a huge help. He was respectful, transparent, and great with communication and responses. He was explained all needed and assured me the issue was fixable. Even added sealant to areas he noticed that had spaces (not a part of original request). Sent me before and after pics to make sure it met my satisfaction.
Great guy, great job! Would strongly recommend to anyone.

Wife and I were in the market for a new roof. We have been in our house 20+ years. Did our home work of various companies. Chose 3 to come to the house and offer bids.

Only Cobra (Phil & Jake) met our expectations. Very knowledgeable regarding their products. Also spotted issues with our roof that we were unaware of. Very fair price. We gave them the job and we’re not disappointed. On time each day. 2 day project. Kept us apprised of the progress even when we were not at home. (Text) Either Phil or Jake were always on site to supervise the work. Tarp on our pool during work. Clean up was great.

I can’t remember the last time I took the time to write a review, but I figured cobra earned it.

Phillip/Cobra has done work for us for many years. We renovated our master bath and bedroom, installed a new front door, and there have been many other smaller jobs. He is trustworthy, personable, reliable, and will offer you the least expensive solution first. He has recently helped with pipe issues lately, and ultimately will be putting our new roof on when needed!

Cobra Contracting & Construction is a highly recommended company especially for roofing work of all sorts, small or big jobs... we have used them twice so far and Philip has been a super reliable contractor. He is very easy to communicate with, super responsive, patient and understands the needs of his clients. It is a pleasure working with you Philip and as always thanks for being so honest.

Ever needed a service last minute on a weekend and almost lost your mind because most places are closed.

Well, I know that feeling. But thanks to Philip, my issue was readily and professional completed in a very timely schedule.

Philip is super awesome and very professional. I needed a job done super last minute and he delivered in less than to about an hour. Very personable and knowledgeable.

If your plumber installs a water heater and you need a roofer complete the vent and seal the surrounding area. Call Philip! You will not be disappointed.

Our family highly recommends Cobra Contracting & Construction! Phillip responded to our request for a roof inspection within the same day of the request. He explained his findings in detail and his approach to resolving our issue. Less than 24 hours later, he returned to our residence and made the repairs. Phillip was professional, we had an excellent customer experience.

I have worked with Cobra over the past 11 years on several projects and i am never disappointed. When they say they will be there they are there. The crews are clean and attentive to the surrounding work environment and take care of job site like pros!
Cant rave enough about them so don't hesitate to give them a call if you need work done. On point every time! Thank you to the entire team at Cobra!

I called Cobra in need of a leak repair and Philip responded within a few hours. He listened to my concerns, found the problem area and inspected my roof. He gave me a proposal for the repair along with roof replacement due to age and future repairs I would most likely have. I decided on the roof replacement and made plans for 4 days out. As promised - the experience was top notch. His team was on time, tarps put out to cover my lawn of debris, they worked fast and efficiently finishing in one day, and left my property clean after completion. My roof is as beautiful as I imagined. I am so pleased I chose Cobra and highly recommend Philip and his Company.

We had a great experience using Cobra Contracting & Construction to replace the roof on our home. Mr. Flinn was punctual, listened, and was very professional. He set expectations and exceeded them. The work was done promptly and his crew were very respectful and professional. We are very appreciative of the level of service and the timeliness of the project being completed. I will use Cobra again, and recommend them to anyone looking for a great contractor.

Philip is one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. He has helped us repair roofs and installed a brand new huge roofn our house. He sticks buy his warranty and is very trustworthy, professional, and kind. I would high likely recommend him for any roof needs of any kind. Thanks for all your help always Philip.

Philip and his team did an amazing job replacing our roof. Philip came out and let me know that my 15 year old roof had some wind and hail damage. We placed a claim through insurance and when the field adjuster came out so did Philip. After the roof was approved Philip worked with me on what colors and options I had for the replacement. The product he uses is top notch. He and his team came out and did a wonderful job replacing the roof. They were very tidy and meticulous when removing and reinstalling the roof. They even added extra vents to help with attic heat. Philip was there at every step of the way. All in all, I'm very happy with their work and the result. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again for any other construction/roofing needs.

So thankful for Phil with Cobra Contracting & Construction! We had our roofing installed through another company he was with a few years ago. That company had folded & yet Phil came & touched up a couple of metal lifting corners of air vent & chimney. He did this touch up repair with such a great attitude; so helpful! He also cleared my gutter for a smooth flow. I would wholeheartedly recommend Cobra Contracting & Construction for your roofing and whatever your need. Call him first! You will know you are in the right hands! Five stars!!!

I would recommend Cobra Contracting to anyone who needs roof repairs. Philip was very understanding and transparent. I needed my roof repaired urgently and he made time the same day to ensure repairs. He was very professional and extremely knowledgeable. He took his time to explain everything. I am completely satisfied with repairs for which I am very greatful. Thank you Philip 😊
