These folks were so easy and professional to work with, from the beginning quote to the final clean-up. They were very fair and reasonably priced. They did an outstanding job and went beyond my expectations. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. If you need any of their services, use this business you will not be disappointed with the workmanship or their price.

I wish I had the same experience that others had with this company, but unfortunately I did not. After receiving a few quotes from other companies, I decided to choose On Point Tree Service for tree removal and replacement. The communication was horrible! I continously had to call them for 2 weeks straight after confirmation of service and pricing. So finally the day of service they did not come in the morning as scheduled so i called them around 2 pm and the receptionist was like 'Oh I thought they already came out. Let me try to call them now.' I understand the weather was questionable that day, but at least have enough decency to call and let me know you can't come and let's reschedule. I called them 3 more times and they kept giving me the run around. At that point I was over the lack of communication and professionalism.

Cons: not punctual, terrible communication, unprofessional, disrespectful & takes no accountability.

We submitted an inquiry for one oak tree to be removed and the other oak tree in my back yard to be trimmed. They sent an approval for one of the cheapest quotes I had received and I approved (without talking to anyone in person of my vision) and they showed up, all within 24 hours. I made it very clear in THREE separate emails (to the owner) that I didn’t want anyone to touch my tree that needed trimmed until I could show someone what I envisioned, since I had yet to show anyone; I had seen pictures of their work and I wanted a different look with less taken off than their normal work that’s been done- I had a specific vision I wanted to see carried through. They showed up an hour early while I was in the middle of an appointment that I couldn’t get out of that the owner had known about; we had talked that morning about a timeline as well. This was fine, I previously mentioned via email that the tree being taken down could be done without my presence, if needed. It all took a turn for the worst when I started watching them hack off huge limbs of my other tree before I arrived home. Through panic & disbelief, I called everyone I could to try to get them to stop. It took someone having to drive over there to get them to stop and wait for me. Long story short, I showed up and my tree had been butchered (in my eyes- which is pretty important, if you ask me). I immediately called the owner and he had known and showed zero sympathy and blamed the workers entirely. He took zero accountability, didn’t even think to reach out to me to begin with and failed to apologize; he outright could care less. This made me more upset than I already was. I told the owner I wanted a discount or replacement of my tree. He didn’t seem to mind a discount and said the guys working would be paying out of their pocket for what I didn’t..?!

My husband asked the workers to take down the VERY small palm on the side of our house and the guy onsite let me know; this was the least they could do? Benito (on site manager?) was apologetic but also claimed they were not told about the back tree needing approval, so in the end someone was a liar and I HATE liars.. they offered to trim my front bushes but I did not allow; I didn’t want them butchering anything else honestly.

When it came time to pay, we were literally harassed for 24 hours getting several calls, texts, voicemails about wanting payment but I had yet to receive an updated invoice. When I reached out, the owner mentioned the workers did extra work so we basically should pay the agreed amount?!? I’m sorry, they took 90 seconds to remove a 4 foot tree(didn’t even grind the stump!) and I’m expected to pay full price after wrongful damage and emotional/mental anguish??? The owner then had THE AUDACITY to question our integrity because I still expected a discount and told me ‘to pay what I thought was fair’. I ended up paying 75% which I think is MORE than fair even after being blatantly disrespected by the worst customer service I have EVER received.

If you have a small job, sure go with these guys. If you care about your garden & yard, please find someone else. “You get what you pay for” ..

oh & let’s not forget their solution : ‘it’ll grow back’ .. the damage they caused will take years to regrow 🤢

Response to review : my husband works Monday - Friday 7a-7p. He was NEVER present. I had contractors doing tile in my house, maybe you were mistaken. The invoice was paid to what I thought was fair which was 75% of original invoice. Stop making excuses and grow some balls. Oh and get your facts straight. I said my appointment was from 11-2 and they showed up at 1pm.. smdh. I’ve got all receipts and emails for proof, you only tell lies.

Great experience with this company. We got a few quotes before going with them and they were the best price. They removed a large oak tree in the corner of our backyard that was right against the house, our fence and our neighbors house. No damage and they were careful. Insurance was included just in case damage occurred. They made it so the stump would not show above the ground and cleaned up everything nicely afterwards. It took them most of the day. You can't even tell there was a huge tree there in the first place! Highly recommend.

Jonathan is very responsive and follow-up concerns. The crew worked carefully and cleaned up all the debri.
My only issue was that I just didn’t know when the crew was going to show up.

I called them on a Friday afternoon and after the free estimate, they arranged to have a crew there later that afternoon to take the tree down. The stump removal happened the next day. While I'm pleased with the service, I'm not pleased with them not cleaning up the mess. I had to manually bag all of the debris left from the stump grinding and it's still all over my yard. Charlie was very responsive and very helpful. With Texas heat, having help cleaning up their mess would have been preferred.

Absolutely a refreshing experience. We contacted this company in the evening and the next morning their crew arrived and cut down the parts of the tree that we had requested with excellent precision. Nothing damaged and clean up was amazing! This company is by practice customer focused and share an extreme commitment to excellence that is displayed from first contact to finished job! I highly recommend this team and will contact them for all of our tree, fence and landscaping work in the future.

I gotta say they were top notch. Great service very professional and competitive prices. I used them for 2 tree removals and 1 stump. They did a great same day job and clean up, it was as if the trees were never there. They did such a great job that I had them re-sod my front yard. The grass was straight from the farm as fresh as it could be, really green and healthy. Would definitely recommend them to anyone and would definitely use again.

These guys took out a very large tree that was threatening to fall onto a neighbor’s house. The team showed up on time, did a phenomenal job for a fair price. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. 100%

This is the second time (June 2024) we have used On Point for trimming our large red and live oak trees in the last 4 years. Our initial contact was Ryan. Good work at a fair price - trees cleaned out and nicely trimmed as we wanted. The crew cut and trimmed additional branches and limbs that we requested. Crew was on time and worked efficiently. Our trees look much better and should be ready for hurricane season (high winds). Will use again next time.

I used On Point Tree Services when I moved into my house 4 years ago to trim four trees. I thought they were fairly priced and did a good job. I recommended them to my neighbors to use. They came back out last year and gave me an estimate to trim the same four trees that need minimal trimming and was quoted a price more than 300% more than I paid 4 years ago. I believe they are price gouging since many people are in need of trimming after the recent hurricane. Unfortunately, I will not be using or recommending them again.

A great experience all around! It started with a very quick and free estimate, which we were very pleased with due to how expensive we heard it may be with other companies. Jim came and gave us a great price and exceptional customer service. He’s very personable, and very knowledgeable, which put our mind at ease with having to take down two huge trees. It seems like a huge job for us, but for them it was a piece of cake.

We are SO satisfied with the work they did on our two huge trees that needed cut down. One of the trees was very challenging, as it was hanging over our neighborhood lake and our fence, and they had it down within minutes like magic! They avoided any damage to our property, our neighborhood’s, or our neighbors. They took down these two huge trees within minutes, absolute professionals! We even had a huge tree that had already fallen that needed chopped up, and they accommodated, helping us chop that into more manageable pieces while they were here.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would— I will definitely be recommending to people in the future!

Working with this team was a pleasure! The process of getting a quote was easy, and they could come the next day! They removed 8 trees and trimmed every other tree on our property in a very professional manner. The project was finished a day early, and everything was pretty well cleaned up. They listened well to our instructions and even did some bonus work like putting a burn pile through the chipper for us. We had a couple of trees close to power lines, and they did an expert and safe job removing them. All the stumps were ground well, too. I'll definitely have them back again for any future tree work!

Charli and his crew came out and removed 4 trees (stumps grinded) topped off about six with removal. They were incredible they worked extremely fast and were in and out in a day. The crew was extremely professional and ran like a well oiled machine. Will definitely be giving them a call back!

I had several dead tree limbs rough 40 feet high hanging over my driveway that were about to fall in my car. I used the Thumbtack App and got connected with Osvaldo from On Point Tree Service. Osvaldo was able to show up within two hours give me a Free Estimate and quote. His team showed up the next day and took care of my problem. They provided excellent service, and it really helped address my issue of these trees potentially falling on my car and causing damage. Highly Recommend On Point Tree Service.

We are property management company for single family homes. We had used On Point Tree Service on many occasions. The guys he sent out were efficient, polite and respectful. Overall wonderful experience. Price points were Very competitive. Their work were methodical, safety minded and the crews worked well with each other. Absolutely joy to watch them work!

The crews did a great job @trimming our tree, and this was the second time we had them working on our tree. The cost is lowest compared to other estimators and they did a amazing job, also clean up the yard and driveway for us. The crews are very nice and professional. They also respond my message super fast. I would recommend them to family and friends and will choose them again next time. I would give them 10 stars instead 5 and 150% satisfaction. These guys are just the best! Mr. Benito came to our house on his day-off a few hours after I contacted him. Looked at the job and was able to get someone started the very next day as promised. Price was exactly as quoted. When Mario came with the giant machine it felt like Christmas!! Needed to remove a portion of our back yard fence just to get to the tricky location and once the job was finished he put everything back good as new. The skill of the work far exceeded our expectations 👏. These guys are legit! Had issues with a few different companies before but we were blessed with On Point. They are exactly as the name suggests. Highly highly recommend for everyone !!

I found On Point Tree Service through Thumbtack for a Mulberry tree removal. Benito contacted me right away on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025 and offered to come out that same day for a free estimate. I let him know I had already received a lower bid from another company, but they couldn’t do the job until Monday. Benito offered to complete the work that day, which was important to me because the tree was dropping berries that were damaging my new turf. He also advised that stump grinding was important to prevent root growth from damaging the nearby fence, so we agreed to include it.

The tree was successfully removed on Saturday, but the stump grinding wasn’t completed immediately. There were some communication issues over the weekend that caused frustration, and I had trouble getting in touch with the owner, Bryan, in regards to paying them for the work already completed.

That said, on Monday, May 5th, Bryan contacted me in the morning to let me know the stump grinding had been completed. Shortly after, Benito followed up with a call, confirmed the work was done, apologized for the earlier communication hiccups, and reassured me that the tree and roots would no longer be an issue.

While the process had some bumps along the way, On Point Tree Service ultimately delivered. The work was completed quickly, and both Bryan and Benito made the effort to follow through and resolve the concerns. I appreciate the responsiveness and the outcome. I would recommend On Point Tree Service, but be clear on expectations and follow-up timelines upfront.
