I found out about the company by mistake but l am so glad l did. They are very knowledgeable, honest and friendly Melissa helped me over the phone to resolves some issues. No need to pay extra for another diagnostic visit. They really know how to treat costumers. We are going to keep using them in the future for sure.

I wish the review rating system would allow to give a negative rating because I would give this company -10 stars!
Reasons:
1. Technician lied to me to my face on the very first service visit about the salt level being ok when it was clearly and far from being ok. He could barely speak a word of English.
2. I called owner to inform her and she was extremely defensive, rude, and unprofessional to say the least.
3. I requested someone checked my system settings next time they come to service my pool to make sure they are where they should and as of today it has been about a month and a half and no one has done it yet.
3. No one has come to service my pool two weeks in a row, this last Thursday and the prior Thursday. I have called multiple times to find out why or what is going on and no one answers. The voicemail box is full so I cannot leave a message.
I have had bad experiences with pool/spa servicing/repair companies but A plus Pool Service is #1 on the list of worst customer service.
No idea how they have the rating they "apparently" do with Home advisors. Don't be deceived by this like I mistakinly was.
Last thing, this company advertises on their website that they are certified to work on all types/brands of equipment. I asked owner to share/send me proof of certifications and after about one month and a half, I have not yet received this information either. They may be using deceptive practices to initially gain your business. This is a violation of The Deceptive Practices Act for which customers can legally file a claim/complain and get compensated for any damages (general or economic) incurred.

I wish there was a way to give a negative star for this company because they committed fraudulent behavior on several occasions. I paid them $1236 to fix my pool heater only to find out that they never even inspected the heater. When the plumber needed to inspect the pool heater he found the box full of leaves which is a fire hazard where they left the door open.

They were supposed to fix the pool vacuum. They took it out of the pool and left it beside the house for six months. When I constantly complained, they got belligerent.

The service has been abhorrent and the customer service even worse. If you want to waste time and money, give Aplus pool service a call!!

Stay away from this company.

On time, quality work, affordable pricing, great customer service interaction during whole process. A plus removed old tile and installed new tile and stones. they cleanup everything. Great job.

I have used A+ pools for 4 or 5 years very happy with their work. Melissa is great in the office gets you on schedule and they stand behind their worg 100%, glad I found them

The Quality of the re-plastering work was impeccable! They clearly describe what was to be done and they completed the project exactly as described. Their personnel were perfect representatives of their company. Courteous, Friendly, and eager to help. Could not be more pleased.

We had 3-4 different pool companies come out to our house to look at our pool light that wasn’t functional. This was the first company that actually took the time to diagnose the problem, propose a solution, and work with us on our timeline. I was so impressed by their responsiveness and work ethic. Highly recommend this company for any pool needs you may have!!

I had trouble finding the heater after the freeze earlier in the year. With one call they were able to find it and schedule installation 3 days later. The techs were friendly and knowledgeable. The work was done on time and they cleaned up the area. It was a great experience.

I've used these guys for approx 10 years. They will offer outstanding service, reasonable prices and sound advice. They know what they are doing, they are professional and very knowledgeable. To put it simply - I wouldn't trust anyone else to maintain my pool and it's equipment. They are first class.

Y’all, this is a great company to do business with ! Under the recommendation of an electrician who informed us that our pump motor and timers were blown from a lightening surge, I called A Plus. From the moment I contacted Melissa about my broken pool pump she went to work to locate a new one and to schedule the appointment for an install later that day. She explained the benefits of the equipment they recommend for replacement and stayed in contact with me regarding the arrival of the technicians. I was stressed as we had another pool company no-show two days in a row AND it was now the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. When the technicians arrived , they were friendly and very knowledable. They began with a troubleshoot and discovered that there was a bad switch to the main (missed by our electrician) which the tech fixed in a jiffy and got the pool up and running. We are grateful for A Plus pool’s honesty and professionalism and we will definately be calling them for future pool repairs .

Marc, his wife, and his sons run a great family owned company. All are highly certified and expert in all aspects of pool construction, repair and service. Customer satisfaction oriented, very professional. I've tried many different services with mixed results. I have used A Plus now for years on all aspects and wouldn't trust anyone else. I've never been disappointed.

We've been with this company for like over 6 months. Everything went smoothly from service to prompt communication to reasonable price. Very nice people. Melissa always replied to all my needs right away. It's just suddenly last week they didn't come to service my pool and I called Melissa. She said she's having trouble finding a technician coming my route. She said she would call me back but she never did. I called her again twice, texted one, hung up and never replied back. I guess time to look for a new company. I really love this company but even they couldn't service my area, please let me know instead of no communication like this. A little disappointed!!!

A Plus has been so great! They fixed our pool when it was in bad shape and have been providing excellent monthly service. I have also referred them to clients and they were extremely helpful.

We purchased a home in the Katy area and our pool/deck needed to be resurfaced. I called numerous companies for quotes. Melissa was the most upfront, honest, kind one plus their prices were unbeatable. I’d recommend a thousand times over. I use them anything I need anything plus their monthly service is a great value.

Purchased house 1 year ago. A Plus serviced pool for original owner. They have an excellent reputation, family owned and are dependable. They have helped me numerous times with doing basic mantainence and making sure I understood how the pool worked and maintance required. I have called and spoke with Melissa who is very always pleasant and knowledgeable about trouble shooting and they really go the extra step for thier customers. This is a solid company, give them a call, so glad I did!

Great company, technician was out the same day and fixed the problem. Pricing is very fair and office is very responsive. Will definitely use them again.

We went through several pool guys to keep our water clean and clear with no satisfaction. They gave excuses from weather to plaster issues to leaks in the pool. I spent a lot of money with those guys' adjustments to the water. I wasn't satisfied so I called A Plus (who answers the phone as others I called did not) and Melissa spent time asking questions about my problem, giving potential solutions, going over chemical numbers and actually coming out to look and discuss. There was no pressure from them at all. They did adjustments to how the pool flowed, gave us a quick pool chemical instruction and cleaned the filters. Miraculously, our water was crystal clean in the next days. Awesome people! They will even babysit your pool when you go on vacation. I called them back a month or so later and they just fixed some loose coping tiles, re-masticked, and fixed the waterfall wall. They were attentive to our needs, follow-up'd on all the work and concerns. These are our pool people for as long as we live here!

A Plus Pools replastered our pool and I couldn't be happier. They did an outstanding job, we have a smaller, older pool but we were treated like it was their biggest job. Melissa was very thorough in explaining the entire process. Every single person that came to our house with A Plus Pools was very professional, courtesy and overall did a top notch job. I would gladly recommend them to anyone and to top it off their price was very fair.

From the moment my call was answered Melissa was friendly and knowledgeable she started to diagnose my pool problem. When we discovered we had a leak in our 30 something year old pool we invited leak detection quotations from a short list of candidate service providers developed through an internet search. Melissa Gonzales of A Plus Swimming Pool Services, LLC contacted us a couple of hours later with a responsive quotation, which we accepted. On the agreed date and hour, two technicians arrived and located a leak in the underground pool plumbing in an hour and a half. Later that same afternoon we received from Ms. Gonzales (a) the full leak detection report, (b) an invoice for the agreed amount, and (c) a leak repair quotation, which we accepted.
On the agreed date and time the same two technicians arrived and repaired the leak and restored the concrete pool walkway to our complete satisfaction in one afternoon.
Bottom line: contracting with A Plus Swimming Pool Services, LLC was a positive experience for us and we recommend them for both leak detection and leak repair services because: (1) they communicate well and promptly, by phone and email (we’re old and use email so we have a written record of our understandings); (2) they have a good handle on scheduling (they accommodated our competing time commitments and showed up, ready to work, at the agreed times), (3) their technicians are personable, experienced professionals who perform the work at a timely pace to first class standards of workmanship.
