Johnston supply in Katy service is excellent!!I been buying from them over a Decades . The new manager Ryan has Been a GOD Send. Any Equipment or parts I need he takes care in ordering it and have the equipment ready if it available or ready at another branch promptly if they don’t have it. Another great aspect is any part that from a particular branch that the company doesn’t sell 70%of the time it can be ordered thru the company, an Ryan gets it done very quick which makes my Customers very satisfied and I’m very satisfied 10 plus STARS FOR ME 😎🙏🏾!!

I have been doing business with Johnstone Supply for many years and they are simply the best. I use to believe that customer service was nonexistent in 2024, but they have changed that. The customer service is outstanding and Mr. Ryan at the Katy location always goes above and beyond to make sure I’m satisfied. You can ask any of the other frequent customers about him and they’ll say the same thing. He knows his customers on a first name basis and is knowledgeable about the HVAC products they sell. I will continue doing business there and recommend them to anyone. Keep up the great work!!

I had a very frustrating experience at Johnstone Supply in Katy. I went in on Saturday to buy a part for my AC unit and was given the wrong one. I didn’t realize it until I got home, and by then the store was closed. I called the 24-hour line, and the service rep told me exchanges were fine (even though the receipt says no returns).

When I went back Monday, I was told they don’t do exchanges at all. I explained the situation and even showed them a picture of what I needed, but instead of fixing their mistake, they tried to sell me a “workaround” part and some adapters—which also didn’t work.

To make things worse, when I asked to speak to a manager, the employee helping me (Aaron Smith) pointed to another guy and said he was the manager. When I went to talk to him, he told me he wasn’t a manager at all—he was just another sales rep like Aaron. I don’t know why I was being given the runaround instead of getting real help.

What’s most disappointing is the lack of knowledge and customer service. Even when you clearly explain the problem, there’s no real guidance, no effort to make things right, just a lot of “no, we can’t help.” For a supply store that should be the expert resource, that’s unacceptable.

Great people to work with! The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to help, making the entire experience positive and efficient.

Ken is the real deal! He came in and diagnosed what was wrong with 10 to 15 minutes. He’s very professional and knows exactly what he’s doing. Bottom line is if you have anything going on with your HVAC system Ken is your guy to call!

DO NOT HIRE!!! Ed is a crook. His business isn’t even located at this address in La Centerra confirmed by an in-person visit yesterday! He hired uncertified techs to install our new system in April. We have not had a fully operational system since the install. Since the start of the heat wave, our system has stopped functioning. I had to buy a room unit just to keep it at 80 degrees. We have been calling him for weeks to get it working with just basic texts saying “he’s working on it “. Now the house is 85 degrees and climbing. The house is becoming uninhabitable for my pets and ‘my 80 year old father.

We are a commerical business and used Done Deal to help repair the AC. They did a great job, quoted a great price, and everything is working great. Highly recommend them!

Woke up to my downstairs thermostat at 78 with setpoint at 74 so I knew something was wrong.

Done Deal was able to come out quickly, only 2.5 hours after I called them first thing in the morning which is very much appreciated when temps are hitting triple digits and got everything fixed up.

Done Deal came to inspect and eventually replace my heater and induction fan. The job had a hiccup as they caused some damage to drywall and woodwork getting the old unit out of the attic. Ed worked diligently and persistently on the follow up to make sure the repairs were satisfactory everything looked good as new.

Responsive, professional. I would do business with these guys again.

Great experience using this company. We called other companies and they all wanted to send a sales guy who didn’t know anything about our hvac components. We called done deal and ed gave us a “no hassle price” over the phone. We even added ducts because they made the price so reasonable.
