I'm a single mother of 3 and this is the ONLY company I use for all of the plumbing issues I run into. Women get take advantage of a lot with things we are not familiar with, and Churchwell Plumbing have always been fair and honest. Thank you so much!!! God bless you all!!

Replaced sewer line per quote. Did NOT replace the last 12 foot from the cleanout to the house, leading to an extremely messy and expensive sewer backup in the crawlspace that destroyed the furnace. Also, cut right through the sprinkler system.
Unfortunately I cannot give negative stars ...I would. Worst contractor I ever dealt with.

Called on a Sunday evening around 7 pm about a leak from water meter (thing where shutoff switch is) after LP&L had come out and determined that it’s was not an LP&L issue (go figure). On call gentleman came out and determined problem however due to rain/lightning storm that came through about 10 seconds after problem identified he was unable to fix but assured they will return tomorrow morning to take care of. I have no doubt they will get the job done!

Had them scheduled for a camera video inspection of a sewer line for Friday morning and had to have it for a real estate transaction option period that was to end on Saturday. Did not show up by 9:00 so called them and said they had to find a slab leak at another place and would probably come by noon. Told them to call me and I would come back to open up the vacant property for them. Did not get a call by sometime in the afternoon. So I called their office and voice mail said that their admin office is closed on Friday afternoon. Left messages a couple times and never got a call back or a call from the plumbers. Called me Monday morning but it was to late.

Came for an estimate and ran the camera through the drains. Told me what I already knew. Pipes have cracks at the tops of each one. But not like just "half a pipe". So he gave me an estimate and told me it was not an immediately needed service. So nice to know a company that tells it like it is and doesn't try to sell you something you don't immediately need. Thank you.

I needed my sewer line replaced I got five estimates two of them were trenchless replacement. I did end up going with the lower estimate of digging up the yard. I just wanted to say that CP was one of the two trenchless quotes I got if I would have went that way we would have picked CP. Not only were they the lowest but when Blain came out the same day i asked for a quote, he explained what trenchless replacement was. Very knowledgeable had patience with us and answered our questions we appreciate it
Got a call from the office twice checking up on us making sure we had no further question's. Thank You

We had a two bathroom remodel to do and a short time to get it completed. We called Kim in the office and Gary responded on site the same day with a very reasonable quote and had a plumber from HEAVEN, Jesus Sanchez on site the next day. Jesus was one of the best service providers I have ever been around. He installed two shower services from the ground up, demoed a 300 lb iron tub, cut off a 75 year old iron pipe and re-plumbed with PVC the new bathtub water service and drain. He also changed out the water service valves and a toilet. He came back two days later when we were ready after five o'clock on Friday afternoon and hooked up the remaining sink faucets. He was professional and pleasant even after crawling under the pier and beam floor to check out the 75 year old piping. Without him, our project would have taken days longer.

On 6-13-14 I paid $4225 for a new sewer line. They used the trenchless method. The company left my old sewer connection to the house exposed and two low spots where the dirt was removed. I called for the holes to be filled in and the old exposed pipe to be covered up. They never showed up to finish the work.

On 5-23-15 my sewer backs up. I call for service to only be told that because of the Memorial Day holiday no one will be able to unstop my sewer. I cannot help it that the sewer is clogged up on a holiday weekend. I guess a warranty only is in effect Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 pm. I was willing to wait all day for help. I did not demand that they honor the warranty. I will choose to take my business somewhere else for my plumbing needs and not recommend them to anyone else. On the phone they have always been kind, but they have lost my business.

Churchwell Plumbing installed a pelican whole house water system in our Lubbock home. They are the consumate professionals and exceeded expectations. This seemed to be a complicated job to me, which was handled with ease by the Churchwell plumbing professionals! All details of installation were explained and my questions answered. Gary and his employees were very courteous and a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend Churchwell Plumbing for all your plumbing needs!

Churchwell Plumbing was a subcontractor on a significant add on at my house. They misplaced the plumbing in two bathrooms which ended up in the middle of the room. We had planned on staining the concrete and as a result had to tile the rooms.

They also neglected to add water lines for ice makers on two refrigerators. At one point after neglecting to plumb an ice maker, they returned to connect the ice maker and used the existing line for the dishwasher which was disabled.
After their dismissal, we learned that they had underestimated our gas needs for a pool addition and we had to add an additional gas line to accommodate the pool.

They might be able to clean a sewer line, but I wouldn’t let them near new construction. My best description - incompetent!

Churchwell came the same day I called them to install new faucets in my bathrooms and kitchen. Very professional and reasonable cost. The next time I need plumbing work done, these are the guys I'm going to call. I highly recommend Churchwell Plumbing!

Discovered a clog in my main sewer line late at night that caused overflow in all my drains. Churchwell was the only company out of 5 that was able to help me out the following day. The technician did a great job; he was very polite and professional as well as the receptionist I talked on the phone with. Price was extremely fair. I will refer Churchwell Plumbing and continue to use them for any problems in the future!

Called Churchwell Plumbing on Monday to come out and look at my plumbing issues. All of my toilets and tubs were backed up and being 6 months pregnant the sanitary issue was a concern. When I called I was advised that there will be a $75.00 call out fee and it may be a septic tank issue that they don't handle. For the sake of at least figuring out whether it was a septic issue or a clog I still wanted them to come out. Literally, I showed the gentlemen my tub and we walked one side of the house and there wasn't a real attempt to find the sewer clean out. Just by looking at my tub and walking the side of my house I was advised that it was a septic tank issue. Due to the holidays I could not get the septic pumping company out until Wednesday to pump my septic tank. Firstly, the septic tank was not full and secondly, after it was pumped my drains were still clogged-meaning this was never a septic tank issue. I attempted to call Churchwell Plumbing back to get it resolved, however, their phone was down. After nearly 3 days with no plumbing I went ahead and reached out to another company. Mr. Wilson's Plumbing came out the same day and there was a completely different vibe. They went above and beyond to make sure my baby and I were taken care of. They came out with a motive to fix the issue, unlike the response I got from Churchwell. Needless to say, it was not a septic tank issue and the clog could have been taken care of, but Churchwell took the $75.00 and ran with it.

I can’t say enough about this company. I know most people have a company they like and will stick with, but if you don’t you need to use Churchwell. Since moving to the area they have been nothing but good to us. They are always prompt, do high quality work, but they also try to make it as affordable as possible. This past month we had plumbing issues that also required the assistance of our city. Working with our city was extremely difficult. It took having to contact my city councilmen to finally get any communication with them. Blane went to great lengths to work with them to get his work performed. After all this going on for a month Blane was able to get the job done in a short amount of time. Blane went way out of his way and above and beyond what most people would do to ensure costumer satisfaction and definitely should have charged a whole lot more than what he did. I am so thankful for the dedication, time, and effort that not only Blane but this company has put forth as a whole. I can say Churchwell will be the company I will always use for ANY plumbing issue that I may ever have for residence that I may reside in.

After a year of being frustrated and having 4 other plumbing companies misdiagnose our problem, Churchwell came in, found the big problem, and fixed it! It ended up being a crack down the length of our main line.
They installed an epoxy liner, which saved us money and prevented trenching through the length of the line.
Blane was great to work with. His technicians were prompt, friendly, respectful, informative, and professional. They kept us updated & informed every step of the way. Patricia in the office was also warm, friendly, & helpful.
I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing needs, whether simple or complex. Don't waste your time & money on other companies that put bandaids on bullet wounds!

I had a great experience with Churchwell. They had great communication and Jose was incredibly professional and helpful. He made us feel very well taken care of and did an awesome installation job on a new water heater.

Super impressed with these guys. I wish I would’ve gotten their names. They found the issue, were communicative about said issues, and stayed within the declared time frame all while doing a hell of a job. More impressive than that was how well mannered and polite they were. It’s not easy having work done and strange people in your house. It was nice to feel like I had trusted people doing the work. After a pretty good sized job and lots and lots of dirt with concrete work included… they then spent a lot of time cleaning up after themselves, which I was super impressed with. 10/10 in my book. Only complaint came from my husband who used to own a flooring business. Your concrete pouring to prep for tile could use some work 😂 Overall… very satisfied.

Blane and the team offered a secondary option from another local company that saved us from having to rip up concrete when our kitchen drain stopped working. Rather than make an assumption that our pipes needed to be replaced, they discovered the problem was just a clog and used their camera to ensure our plumbing was in great shape. We were originally quotes over $3,000 for the same service, but Churchwell charged us $750 and took care of the issue. We're really happy we called Blane!

Could not be happier with their service! They gave a quote for the service, did the work without issue, and didn't try to upsell me on things I didn't need. They were honest, no nonsense, and upfront about everything they were going to do. Also worked extremely fast and my yard was actually cleaner after they left! Could not recommend them enough I got 3 quotes from different companies in town and they were almost a 1/3 less than one quote I got that was going to destroy my yard and not fix any of it. Churchwell was able to do the job without wrecking my yard and tearing down my shed. PLUS they gave me a 10 year warranty on the work they did. What else do you need to know?

The plumbers that showed up were professional and got the job done in about half an hour, hauled away the junk and cleaned up. Would recommend their plumbing service, as it was the first company in Lubbock that didn't try to scam me.
The reason for 4 stars is their archaic payment system. If you want to use a credit card, they charge 2% of the invoice total.
In addition, the only way to pay is to call them with your card number
NEVER make customers jump through hoops! Make payments simple.
Use PayPal, Zelle or another electronic payment system. It is cheaper and error free, leaving the employee free to do more profitable things.
You can write the expense off as a cost of sale, and get rid of the 2% surcharge. Customers think you are punishing them for doing business with you!

Had a water leak. Luckily we found it early and I called Earls and they were there in less than 20 minutes. Very impressed with the quick response time and out less than $100 for the total repair. I will never be without a Earls Home Warranry!
