I like that they send an e-mail before the electricians arrive with their picture and profile. A nice touch to personalize the experience. The electricians were nice and knowledgeable. They made recommendations that I was not aware were available to improve my remodel and reduced the cost. They were quick, efficient and clean. No mess left behind. I would highly recommend.

IES services have been outstanding. They have been ultra responsive to my needs. The office staff has been so pleasant and good to work with. Everyone who’s done any work in my home has been friendly and professional. Justin Taylor was especially good to work with. He provided suggestions that would save me some money and previous companies I’ve used never did this. I’m pretty fussy, pay attention to detail and I would highly recommend their electrical services.

I highly recommend IES Home Electrical Services- Justin came out and installed my EV charger and did an amazing job! They specialize in making one trip out so you don’t have to get an estimate then set up another appointment for them to come back- they have everything they need in the van and just crank it out on the spot! Plus, these guys actually responded to me when I asked if they'd come up to Sherman to install an EV charger- lots of people won't make the drive... And they do way more than EV chargers- they can handle any and every thing you need done from an electricity standpoint. Really top notch work, I’m super impressed and we’ll use them again. Thanks Justin and IES, you guys ROCK!!!

Justin & Rodrigo were very professional, knowledgeable & efficient taking care of my electrical problem. Price to fix was much lower than expected and I really appreciated that. I highly recommend using IES Home Services for your electrical issues. You will NOT be disappointed!

My builder used IES Home Electrical Services for all Electrical, home security and Media. Their quality of work is poor. I have to replace most of my Internet sockets in home, Media rooms prewire had missing outlet gave me 5 points for 7.1 channel and they were not properly aligned. Part of home will not have power when it rains the circuit breaker connected to those areas trips off during rain, When called they say it need to inspect during the issue but they give appointment after 2 days when the issue resolves without any interference.
Overall poor quality, not professional, lack of knowledge and customer responsive is very poor. Not recommended.

Unfortunately, my builder uses IES for electrical and my experience has been absolutely TERRIBLE… They cut corners on hanging my light fixture by using one screw to secure the electrical box (when the box clearly require two screws) so when I went to hang my ceiling fan I had to stop and call them to come out and give me screws. Their customer service is poor, took them 3 weeks to finally come out and 2 weeks just to simply make contact with them. I’ve called and texted the main electrician (Supervisor) Nathan several times and he ignores my calls and texts.

Awful experience all around. Would NOT recommend this company to anyone unless you enjoy being screwed over.

Just moved into a (new) home they did the electrical on ~5yrs ago. They're a bunch of hacks. Fixtures secured with just one, non-standard screw. Three-way switches wired incorrectly. Switches held in place with three different sized, non-standard screws. Five to six 12-gauge wires twisted together with wrong-sized wire nut. Undercabinet lights installed incorrectly, and of all different styles. Attic lights wired on wrong switch. I have spent hours fixing their hacks, and I am afraid of what I am going to find next. I know they were working under a deadline, but seriously? Either they let the apprentice(s) do our place, or they're a just really sloppy shop. I would never have them back to my place to do electrical work.

A 1 star is not what IES deserves. Called today after closing on our new home. IES came as a referral during our final walkthrough of new home build. The gentleman who answered the phone said “we are too busy for a single job.” Expressed my disappointment and the gentleman’s attitude was “beyond disrespectful “. Word of mouth is something I don’t like to do. In this case, IES is obviously too big for themselves. One must remember, every single customer, interaction is a steeping stone to where you are today. Treating consumers with disrespect is totally unacceptable.

In closing, contacted the Builder Sales Representative and will contact builders corporate office. Will be letting corporate know the way their new home buyers are treated. Especially since we were referred to IES to add a few more outlets. As far as a star review, it would a definite NEGATIVE 5 star.

Accepting disrespect and the tone of the gentleman whom answered the phone I cannot do. Definitely needs some coaching on how to talk to consumers.

The ceiling lights they installed don’t last. I’ve replaced many LED lights in the 4 years I’ve lived in my home (you have to grab a ladder, screw driver and learn to wire correctly). Don’t get me started on the circuit breakers by EATON they installed. Supposed to last decades yet I’ve had 3 go out already. Eaton has a lifetime warranty but you need to risk your life to change them out yourselves after your home warranty is up with this company or pay a kidney to have it replaced professionally.

Worst electric company ever! We're in a new build and under the 2 year warranty (we've only been in our home since 2024...) we've had them out MULTIPLE times over our electrical breaker having issues where either the washer/dryer or AC trips. When the AC trips, they blame it solely on the AC and tell us to call the AC people under contract with our builder, yet we ended up going with our OWN after they REFUSED TO come out, saying we were not under warranty anymore (WE ARE, BUILDER CONFIRMED.)

They send the SAME MAN to our house every time, and all he does is lift up a cover panel, flip the tripped breaker back, and leaves. Last time he was told to fully replace the breaker for the washer/dryer, he argued with me saying it didn't need it and it was fine, I stood firm saying CHANGE THE BREAKER OUT THAT'S WHAT MY REQUEST IS FOR, TO REPLACE IT, then finally said he would do it, I didn't hover over and watch him but he said he did it.

I've even asked for it to be CHECKED/DIAGNOSED after saying THIS HAPPENS EVERY TIME WE GET A STORM. He dismissed me, saying it's fine. Just flips the switch back and leaves.

INSANITY! YOU WON'T ACTUALLY FIX THE PROBLEM YOU JUST FLIP THE SWITCH BACK ON AND CALL IT A DAY!

It's been only 3 months and it's tripped, again, won't come back on. I try to call them after submitting a warranty request, and there's no answer, you call during business hours but these crooks have a message saying you're calling outside of business hours.

Sometimes when you do get through to someone, they're INCREDIBLY RUDE AND SHORT WITH YOU.

At this point my husband and I are so fed up with these last few months of the warranty and don't even feel comfortable and feel like they'll not fix the problem.

If you're not under a warranty through your builder where they're on a contract to come fix it (and you don't pay out of pocket).......DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY OF YOUR MONEY!!!! Even the people from the builder of our home are sick of them and frustrated with their unprofessionalism!!!

Had a Home Depot water heater installed by their plumbing vendor. They were very unprofessional, left a mess, over charged for additional parts by a 3-4 factor and lied regarding whether HD carried the parts. Home Depot and you the customer can do better getting another plumbing company to do the install.

Ordered a custom door, asked for it to be inspected upon arrival. They checked and said it was good, went to pick up the door and it had dings, smudges, and inconsistent painting with scratches. The manager said they all look like that.... so that's 'good'. They did reduce the amount by a third, but I was embarrassed to bring this to a customer for installation. Sad.

I would like to tell you a story about what a great employee Daphne in flooring is. We had an issue with the bamboo flooring color that was ordered by one of the men in the flooring department. It was the wrong color. Much darker than what we wanted. When I went in to discuss what our options were on getting the right color in before the install date I met Daphne. What an angel she was when I was so stressed out about the timeline for install. She assured me she would take care of everything for me. She got right on ordering the new color setting up delivery and pickup of the wrong color and made sure the transition boards were changed to the right color as well. Every detail was taken care of without fail and she even called me back to let me know everything was taken care of when she finished (something that most of your employees fail to do even though the promised the they would). I am so impressed with her customer service skills. I own a Salon and would be proud to have her on my team. She is my new "Best Friend" and I will stop by to see her every time I come to the store which is at least once a week. I would love for her to be recognized by Home Depot as one of the Employee of the Month recipients if that is something that you do. You should reward your best and brightest team members. Thanks again Daphne your a winner in my eyes!
