This company did great work! Living in south Texas, roofs take a beating from sun, storms, hurricanes, and wind. We had a couple of small leaks but they took care of everything. From the time we contacted them, to the inspection, to the completed roof, it was a very short process. The actual roof installation took one day. We previously considered other companies but we are really happy with Shield Roofing.

Like many, struck with an immediate need for roof leak repair. I had a leak from a vent flashing that became unsecured. I began calling roofing companies mostly suggested from the Nextdoor app. I made sure to let everyone know i was seeking estimates first. Josh with Shield Roofing was able to deliver the fix for a competitive price and same day service. Both he and the repair tech were pleasant to deal with. In addition they did a "well roof" check and secured numerous other flashing while at it at no extra cost. That alone took about 45 minutes which showed how seriously the tech took it. I will be using Josh to do "well roof" checks in the future. He suggested between 3 and 5 years; however, at about $300 I will go with sooner than later because it can avoid thousands of dollars in repairs. Thanks Josh for all your help!

Shield came out the same day I called after finding some roofing debris in my yard after a storm. They got a drone up and inspected, quick and efficient, and gave some advice on how many years the roof likely had left. A+ response.

We asked the co-owner of the company, Kyle Hough, to come and take a look at our roof and give us his thoughts on it. He was very honest, and also low-key. Two things my husband and I really appreciated. He didn't overwhelm us in his sales presentation, which was quite simple, and the price was reasonable. He didn't try to sell us something we could not afford. On the day of the installation the team arrived on time and began working, even though there was a delay on some of the material. Kyle made sure there was no down time by getting some extra material to start with after they took the old roof down. Everyone was courteous and respectful of my husband and I, as we were home all day. And clean-up was amazing!! Kyle came a few days after to check and make sure we were satisfied with the work they did. I so appreciate the integrity that was shown. We are planning to have them also put on new gutters. A home inspector recommended a roof replacement in his report, we were excited to have a contract for the sale of our home however this was extremely unwelcome news. I contacted Josh at 5:40 on a Saturday Evening with my concerns. He immediately scheduled an appointment with me early Sunday Afternoon at 2:00PM. He not only text to let me know he was on his way-he was 20 minutes early. YES, that really happened. I did not know businesses still operated with that type of appreciation for their clients schedule, much less to have the Owner personally show up for the free estimate.

He had his drone in the air in minutes and after showing his footage and pics to me determined or roof easily had four to six years of life left in it. He explained in detail what repairs were necessary and provided a quote. I asked Josh to price a new roof for us as well. This was done and emailed to me within a few hours. His professionalism well surpassed the standards I have seen decline over the last decade.

Excellent customer service! Our roof was installed last year, and I was so impressed with the service and quality from Kyle and his team that I offered to write a review. Then life got in the way! So why write a review now? Recently, I needed a copy of my receipt from 2022, so I reached out to Kyle who was out on a job. He still responded WITHIN MINUTES and promised to send the receipt when he could get to his computer later that night. I had a copy of my receipt that same evening! You see, roofing is a job that people do once every twenty years. Failing to respond to me doesn’t mean he won’t get the work next year because I probably won’t need his services for a very long time. Yet, this is what you get with Shield Roofing. They do what they say and then they do more. They check back to make sure there were no problems and that you were 100% satisfied. Honestly, I would never consider using anyone else when it comes to my roofing needs. They raise the bar when it comes to outstanding customer service and high quality work!
