I have been using Austin Air Conditioning for years. Thomas always takes the time to talk with me and explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. Very easy to set up appointments as well. I’d highly recommend ACC to anyone for repairs or yearly maintenance.

The company was recommended by my daughter. Called to make an appointment, they were very efficient asked the right questions and was very prepared when technician arrived. Except for being a little bit on the expensive side, perhaps that's the going prices, I don't know, the technician that came out was very professional very nice, Explained to me what is happening. Did a great job in minimum time, he fixed everything, and so far I'm pleased. I would definitely call him first if you have an issue.

Thomas has been our technician and we are extremely satified with the service he provides. He is an expert at what he does and explains everything thoroughly, professionally and patiently.
His recommendations are cost-effective and on point. I would recommend Thomas's services to anyone interested in having their A/C and/or heating units checked.

Chino and the install crew did an excellent job. They were very courteous and explained everything to me. Even helped me set up my phone to enable me to access my thermostat.

Today we received semi-annual maintenance service for our HVAC system. Chino, the HVAC technician, was very efficient and stuck around to answer a lot of my random HVAC questions. He also suggested a couple of additional augmentations to our current setup, but did not pressure into purchasing and did a great explanation of why those would be beneficial. I highly recommend this company for service!

Apparently they know nothing about AC’s, they don't take their time, they Dont care, if the AC is not falling apart or a difference of 4 degrees or more they can't help you. So I have a brand new AC not even 2 weeks old that was installed by them and its been between 76 and 77 degrees here 6-7 times in the evening between 4:30 pm and 8:00 when the sun is above and moving west. Its like a sauna, I've dealt with this being patient. They come out two days later after I finally reported the problem and tell me it is working fine. I showed the tech 6-7 pictures I took of the past week during that time frame I stated its the hottest proving there is a problem and that today is a fluke because its not hot outside. Its (77) outside. They said they can't do anything cuz its working. If you do not know how to figure out what the issue is without having the AC broken, (replace it) is apparently the only thing they know how to do but they can't even do that right. The original problem was my AC was leaking everywhere. They could not fix it, so they replace a brand new Ac unit less than 8 months old. And now their replacement has me hot 6-7 days out of the past 10-14. Update: the man put it to 70 when he got here, cuz I had it at 74, then before he left he put it at 72 to be within 3 degrees which is aloud by his company. If he would have left it at 70 would he be here having to use his brain?

Great experience with Austin Air Conditioning. They handled routine maintenance and a damper repair quickly and professionally. The technician explained the issue clearly, fixed it efficiently, and made sure everything was working properly before leaving. Fair pricing, no upsell, and excellent service. Highly recommend.

My heating unit went down called Austin Air as they were the preferred company based off the home builder. Upon arrival, Mauricio Lugo introduced himself in a respectful way, in return I informed him of the issue and troubleshooting that was conducted as a user. He then proceeded to troubleshoot himself and once he went into the attic to check the unit he noticed the fault quickly on the display. Mauricio not only diagnosed the issue very quickly, he was very knowledgeable of the system and was able to answer and questions I had. Overall great service, I would recommend this company based off today's interaction with the service technician!

Updated review 9/5/2025: Austin Air convinced me that I needed to completely replace my ac unit and ductwork in order to improve the air quality in my home, even though my old unit worked great. On June 28th, they did this and I have not had a properly functioning AC unit since then with temperatures often not dropping below 79 degrees during the day even if it’s set at 70, the humidity levels have been close to 80% constantly every day, and the air quality has gotten far worse. I have been trying to work with them to fix this and I have been treated like I am the problem instead of the awful system they installed. I have developed health problems, including daily fevers, ever since they “updated” everything and I now have signs of significant moisture/humidity damage occurring in my house. They broke the ladder to my attic (pictured) and Nick, the manager, is falsely denying it was them when they were the only people to use it. My electricity bills doubled after they installed the new system and the unit seemed to run almost constantly even though it obviously has not been working. Austin Air has been aware of all of this. And instead of having the integrity to make it a priority to resolve these issues, they have overall been very rude and dismissive.

Yesterday, another technician came out to perform a “fix” that just made things worse. So another technician came out at night and discovered that they never connected the duct to my living room vent. (I appreciate this technician). For the last two and a half months, I have essentially had a hole in my ceiling into the attic. I have been paying to cool my attic and simultaneously blow all the humidity, dust, insulation particles, etc. from the attic into my home. No wonder I have gotten so sick.

This company has damaged my health, my home, and my finances and has been treating me like I’m the problem when it has been the terrible hvac system they installed the whole time. I have given them so many chances to make this right and have tried to be understanding while working with them. I hate leaving a negative review for anyone but it has taken two and a half months of a continuous unbelievably bad experience with this company and significant ramifications that I’m suffering for me to conclude that others really need to be warned. Maybe Austin Air was good in the past but they definitely aren’t now. I left them a great review when I first started working with them and I really wish they had not put me in this relative nightmare of a situation that has led me to delete that one and write this one instead.

Chino, Omar, and Arturo were absolutely fantastic! We could not be more pleased with the installation. Omar and Auturo were fast, professional, and kept an absolutely clean workspace. Chino went above and beyond in explaining how to use the new thermostat app and everything we needed to know about our new system. Would highly recommend Austin Air Conditioning… especially the crew that installed us.

I recently had Jackson, a technician from Austin Air, visit my residence to repair our heater. He quoted me $545 for the repair alone or $615.09 if I purchased the loyalty maintenance program. I inquired multiple times if the additional $70 was solely for two tune-ups, and he responded that it was a 'no-brainer.' I opted to purchase the program. A few days later, I contacted the office to request an invoice and spoke with Amanda, who was rude and inexperienced. After questioning the price and quality of service, she became agitated and terminated the call. I called back and spoke with Gabrielle, who was kind and professional, and she transferred me to Chuck, the manager, who was excellent. He notified me of additional charges, and they issued a refund of $368.38. However, I discovered today that I will be receiving a refund of $263.38 instead, as I canceled the loyalty maintenance program that I was misled about and overcharged for in the first place. Having done business with Austin Air for nearly 6-7 years, Jackson's actions, driven by commission, have damaged my relationship with the company. I found his behavior to be dishonest and unprofessional.

Your company sucks! Zero star for you if I could.

Your company last serviced my home on back in July 2024. Great service and communication then.

However, today the tech didn't drive out to check system on scheduled Sunday. Instead, left me a voicemail stating they don't work on manufactured homes. If that's the case, why didn't person I spoke to on Thursday say something?! Or someone from the office call back on Thursday or Friday and state service is not available. I could have called another competitor to schedule an appointment.

This is disappointing. You wasted my time.

Jackson showed up to diagnose our CH/A unit. He was quick yet thorough in figuring out the problem with our system. Once Jackson diagnosed the issue it only took 30 minutes to fix the issue. Jackson was very courteous as well. I recommend Austin Air Conditioning for all your service needs.

I would highly recommend Austin Air Conditioning. They are very reliable and trustworthy. Their technicians know what they’re doing. They communicate well and making sure everything works.

Chino Moncada came to inspect our house for a quality inspection after the full Heating and A/C installation done. He is really good and explained well. He recommended an electrician for us install the electrical outside breaker.

I am really impressed with Austin Air. They are very responsive and professional whenever I call (shout out to Chelsea and Amanda), and were able to work me in to fix my heater quickly. Saul and his installation crew did a wonderful job diagnosing the problem and spent time to explain to me (with pictures) what was wrong with my system, and what needed to be done. They are reasonably priced as well. I highly recommend!

We called for service because our AC wasn’t cooling and the house was heating up quickly. When Bryan arrived, the unit was off. He ran a full diagnostic and confirmed it was getting proper voltage, and the motor was spinning freely, but the blower wouldn’t kick on. He diagnosed it as a bad blower motor that needed to be replaced under warranty.

There was a short wait while the part was ordered, but Bryan kept us informed the entire time. The part came in quickly, and we were able to get back on the schedule without any hassle. Once installed, he got us back up and running and our home cooled down fast such a relief!

The transition from Cool Atmosphere to Austin Air has been seamless. Bryan G was professional, efficient, communicative, and genuinely kind throughout the entire process. I would definitely recommend him and the company to anyone needing reliable AC service.

Chino was my technician today and he was incredibly kind and explained everything about our new mini split unit. Jeff, the supervisor, also came to our home to speak to us directly about some questions we had about our new unit. The turnaround was quick and when we needed to upgrade our electrical circuit board, Jeff was able to have an electrician come out the same days without adding any delays. We appreciate it since this is our Airbnb unit and we had an upcoming reservation that was important to us. Extremely amazing customer service and quality work.
