Long Horn Appliance Repair is a complete disaster of a company. Not only did they fail to fix my dishwasher, but the technician left behind tiny wire fragments on my kitchen floor — a serious safety hazard for my kids and dog. Totally unacceptable.
On top of that, the dishwasher was reinstalled incorrectly, now sticking out noticeably farther than it used to from the surrounding cabinets. It looks awful, and clearly wasn’t reassembled with any care or competence.
After charging a service fee for this mess, they refused to send a different technician or issue any kind of refund. When I called to get this resolved, the customer service rep Britney hung up on me. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told none were available and that I’d maybe get a call back — with no timeframe, no accountability, and no actual help.
After that, they ignored my calls entirely.
This company is not just unprofessional — they’re careless, shady, and dangerous. I’ll be filing a report with my credit card company, submitting a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and posting this review on every platform I can find.
Do not trust Long Horn Appliance Repair with your home or your money. They should not be in business.

Every step from the first call explaining the potential issues through the follow up was perfect. Fabian was my technician and he is an expert at finding leaks in coils and compressors. He was efficient and thorough. He fixed our problem and saved us potentially thousands more. Longhorn is honest and operates with the highest level of integrity. You can trust these guys to get the job done right the first time. They just earned my business for years to come. Thank You.

Went all through my issue and making an appointment for service after giving my full address the service was scheduled then I receive a text stating they do not service my area when their website lists DFW as their service area which is where we reside. Horrible Customer Service

Posting this on behalf of my friend who had a terrible experience with Long Horn Appliance Repair, because people need to know how bad this company really is.
She scheduled a service for her dishwasher and paid the service fee, but the technician didn’t even fix the issue. Even worse, he left tiny wire fragments scattered around the kitchen — which is incredibly dangerous since she has young kids and a dog. That kind of carelessness could’ve seriously hurt someone.
On top of that, the dishwasher was reinstalled incorrectly, and now it sticks out awkwardly from the cabinets, way more than it used to. It looks awful, like it was just shoved in and left that way.
When she called to get the issue resolved, the customer service rep Britney hung up on her. They refused to refund the service fee or send another technician, and when she asked to speak with a manager, she was told someone might call her back eventually — with no timeframe, no ownership, and zero professionalism. After that, they just ignored her calls altogether.
She’s now reporting them to her credit card company, filing a BBB complaint, and sharing this story on every platform possible — and honestly, I would do the exact same.
Long Horn Appliance Repair is sloppy, careless, and totally unprofessional. Avoid them at all costs

I was fully satisfied with the whole installation process. The person taking my original call was friendly and helpful, as well as professional and efficient.

The technician doing the installation called ahead before his arrival to let me know he was on his way, was on time, and completed the installation quickly. He was very helpful with suggestions on how to save the drawerspace under the cooktop and helped haul off the old cooktop.

I will definitely use Longhorn's services again.

My wife and I had an awful experience with Long Horn Appliance Repair, and I feel obligated to warn others. We scheduled a service for our dishwasher, and not only did they fail to fix the issue, but the technician left behind tiny wire pieces all over the kitchen floor — which could’ve seriously injured our kids or our dog. It was careless and honestly infuriating.
To make matters worse, the technician reinstalled the dishwasher incorrectly, and now it sticks out from our cabinetsin a way it never did before. It looks sloppy and clearly wasn’t done right.
We called to get the issue fixed or at least get a refund for the service fee, and the customer service was just as bad. My wife spoke with someone named Britney, who was completely unhelpful and then hung up on him when she tried to explain the situation. We asked to speak with a manager and were told one “might call us back” — but no timeframe was given, and they made no effort to resolve anything.
When we tried to follow up, they ignored the calls entirely.
We’re filing a dispute with our credit card company, submitting a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and posting this review everywhere we can.
Long Horn Appliance Repair is incompetent, irresponsible, and disrespectful to customers. Do not let them into your home. They took our money, left a safety hazard behind, and then ghosted us when we asked them to make it right.

Horrible service, price of parts and labor as good as buying a new equipment. Not worth even calling them as they charge over $150 just to come out and give information you already know.

Great service, great timing. They came out fixed my issue within 30 minutes sent me a picture of the part that I needed. I googled and found the exact part in package for $18 to about $25. My bill was $360. Probably better off finding somebody with better labor rates.

Yoba was extremely accommodating and was able to fulfill every task we needed done. Many companies had come to do the same job but were unsuccessful. His service and knowledge was impeccable and I recommend this company.

First off let's say it sucks having to give them one star just and write a warning to other people . Service man came out first time Told us what needed to be done. We paid half up front to order the part we were scheduled for Tuesday. They called Monday afternoon to reschedule to Wednesday between 1:00 and 4:00 At 4:00. I spent 10 minutes trying to get somebody to answer the phone at the company. Wondering where the tech was. They finally have the tech call me and says it'll be 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. before he can get to us.. tried calling the office back and once again you cannot get anyone to answer. If I want that evening services I would have asked evening services. Not wait till everybody gets home and settled for the evening to have repair work done that was scheduled for the afternoon.

I call made a appointment online. Then they called me to confirm the appointment. My appointment was at Friday 9am to 12pm. I get an odd call from the repair man asking if I lived in a mobile home park. I had to repeat myself three times NO. He asked three times and I do not. Then I get a text saying they cancelled my morning appointment for an evening appointment. Basically this company is worthless and should LISTEN to their customers. I refused them to come out to my home. I will continue to spread the word on how disrespectful I was given on the phone with the repair man. I cannot give you his name as he didn't tell me. You get 1 star ⭐.

Same day service is great. Super friendly staff. Very quick. found the issue out, had the part on the truck. Was at the house less than 35 minutes. He took a picture of the package of the part they replaced. I googled the part number, found the identical part and package they put in. Part is anywhere from $18 to $22 online. My bill was $360. Lets say 100% markup on part. That leaves $320 for less than hour work. You may want to shop around to see what everyone charges per hour for repairs.

I had a very disappointing experience with this appliance repair company. I called them to fix my oven, and they came out and installed a part that didn’t work. They charged me for a second part, came out again, and it still didn’t work. Throughout the process, they never bothered to call with any updates — I had to chase them down every time just to find out what was going on.

They came out a third time, and the oven still does not work. It has now been a week since the last visit, and they have not returned a single call, even after I told them I would dispute the charge and leave a review if I didn’t hear back. It’s clear they just don’t care.

I would never use this company again. Be aware and save yourself the frustration.

Had a repair scheduled to come out on a Friday afternoon and at the beginning of the time window, someone called and said the tech didn’t come in, so they’d have to reschedule me for sometime on Monday. The tech came out, spent less than 10 minutes looking at my issue and diagnosed it as a bad hearing element for my dryer. Said he would have to order the part and would come back on Wednesday to repair my dryer. Had me pay for half the repair upfront ($194). Said someone would call on Tuesday to schedule the repair for Wednesday. No one called, so I called on Wednesday checking on when someone would be back out, they said the part wouldn’t be in until late Thursday or early Friday. They then scheduled me for Saturday afternoon between 12-3. I never got any updates, so I texted at 3 trying to find out how much longer and they said the tech was tied up at a previous call and I was next. I waited until 5 and texted again and was told the tech was still at a previous call and they could reschedule me again for Monday. At that point, I was able to find the part online for $25 and had it delivered on Sunday and did the repair myself. Since then, I’ve tried to get my money refunded for the $194 I paid initially, which was only half of the repair cost. Had the tech completed my repair, I would’ve paid almost $400 for a $25 part and about an hour of labor. My frustration is that the communication is poor and I had to do all the checking and following up on when they would be potentially showing up.

Technician never showed up. There were never any calls or messages following up either.
When you contact them it’s all AI or bots.
    Not professional.
But judging by these reviews, maybe it was a blessing in disguise.
Side note, as business owner ourselves, we understand that ghosting a customer is detrimental and should never be an issue.

My pebble icemaker started making a weird noise which indicated it needed to be cleaned. I had never done it before, so I wanted someone to come out and walk me through the process. I called Longhorn and told them that I needed someone to come out with the cleaning solution since i did not have any.

The service tech arrived a few days later and immediately said he did not have cleaning solution. I told him it would make sense to just reschedule once he had it, but instead he said he would stay and look the machine over. After a few minutes, he says he needs to take the machine apart and perform a deep cleaning. He quoted me something like $650. No thank you!

I ordered the cleaning solution from GE and ran it through a few cleaning cycles and then removed the kick plate and vacuumed all the dust out. It took 5 minutes of cleaning and about $3 worth of cleaning solution. I called and spoke to Bobby, one of the owners, and asked for my $100 diagnosis fee back since they misdiagnosed the issue and didn't even perform the cleaning that I had specifically asked for. He of course declined my request.

Do not under any circumstances do business with this company. They are not only incompetent but also run a very shady business. Its a shame there is not an option to give 0 stars.

Horrible service from start to finish. We called this company to repair the freezer side of our refrigerator. The first technician told us a part needed to be ordered and required upfront payment. We paid $480. He returned, claimed the issue was fixed, and left. The very next day, the freezer still wasn’t working.

When we called back, they sent the same technician, who simply said, “I don’t know, it should be working,” and left. After waiting another week, a different technician came out and told us the first person didn’t know what he was doing and wasn’t even a refrigerator repair technician. We were then told the money we paid was actually for Freon, because the first technician didn’t have any on his truck, so we were charged again.

That technician said the issue was a dirty compressor and left. The freezer still didn’t work. After yet another week-long wait, he returned and said the problem was the control panel and that another part needed to be ordered. We waited another week for that repair, and once again, the freezer still did not work.

After calling yet again and waiting another week, the technician told us to put ice cream in the freezer and let him know when it melted—even though everything in the freezer was already at room temperature. Eventually, we were told the compressor needed to be replaced at a cost of an additional $1,000, which is more than the refrigerator itself cost.

After months of waiting, multiple service calls, and repeated misdiagnoses, I contacted the office requesting a manager. It took nearly a month of follow-ups for them to finally agree to refund only the part—not the service fees.

Overall, this company appears to guess at the problem rather than properly diagnose it. Our refrigerator ended up completely unusable after months of “repairs.” I am extremely unhappy with this experience and would absolutely not recommend this company to anyone

This company came out to look at my refrigerator. They charged me over $1000 for repairs that did not fix my issues. Additionally, they did not even do what they said they were going to do. They stated that they would fix the alignment of my doors which they left completely unaligned. They stated that they would fix the refrigeration and my refrigerator still is warm at over 50° and after charging me, they will not return my calls. do not use this company.
