I was sold on a lot of things including the fact that the install would be quick and I would get to see savings for the first 3 months before paying. It has been two months and my system is still not set up. And I’m not even sure if it will be before I start paying. I was apparently lied to on what I was sold and no sort of discount or repayment has been offered based on that. I’m still not sure on when my system will actually be functional.

Edit: Alejandro (Alex) Carrillo would be my name in the system. And a “final inspection was last week and i was told that was it and it should be done. Now i got a text saying they are coming by for final inspection today.

Also emailing customer services gets no responses that I see.

I had a great experience working with Mike to install solar panels on my home. He was very attentive and communicated the steps of the process very well for a nice price! I plan to recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks Roof solar!

I recently got solar panels from my My Roof solar and was very pleased with the installation. Carlos R. did a great job explaining how everything works and was very helpful in assisting me to find the right energy provider. I was promised a refund for 1st year of payment as a check right after installation. The communication has been spotty through out the process but I was able to get it up and running. Now 2 months passed, I was able to hear back 2 times from Enrique who promised to look into the refund. No updates. And now they went totally un-reachable. Email/phone/cell -- nothing. Frustrated thinking about I am having to beg for my money (I would not have done this without the refund -- economics just not work). And about if things go wrong in the future and with this kind of communication, I will be probably on my own. Be careful when you decide to use them.

Edit: changed to 4 star because the actual installer of the system did a good job. System has been running well at promised efficiency for half a year. The pain which you should be aware of is with the salesperson which turned out to be just a middle-man/lead collector and not working for MyRoofSolar. Sales promised me $3000 refund which never happened. Be clear and get everything down in the contract before you sign. Other than that, MyRoofSolar gave me a decent system.

I agree with some other reviewers. Do your homework before signing with these guys. We decided to sign a contract with my roof solar, and it was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. We were told That the solar power the panels produced would be bought back from us at a 1/1 ratio and that was false. I was promised they would always be around to answer questions, and that too was a lie! I don’t have the amount of solar panels that my contract stated we would receive. I’ve tired calling them on several occasions with no returned phone calls from the owner.
When it came time to claim the federal tax credit for installing solar panels I was giving two final invoices for two separate amounts.
Furthermore, the system does not perform as promised. We were promised little to no electric bill from our utility provider once it was installed and producing solar power, that was just another lie. This was confirmed by checking the production of the solar panels on the solar edge system they installed.

We have recently reached out to the State of 𝒯ℯ𝓍𝒶𝓈 attorney generals office!
Please be weary of My Roof Solar

Do not use My Roof solar! They lie about everything and are calling you all the time until you sign up and then you hear nothing. You can’t get in touch with anyone and if you do all they say is “ i’m sorry you feel that way.” Sales reps, promise one thing, and then Company does not back them up. Two of our sales reps were fired and the other, Hunter Cole, Refuses to get in touch with us and take care of us as he promised. . Just keeps giving us the runaround. If anyone knows of a class action lawsuit against them, I would be very interested. I gave them one star review because I couldn’t figure out how to do zero stars. The insulation looks like garbage on our roof too. They didn’t even come and clean up the solar rails that are sticking out past the solar panels. We had seven families for references, and when I told them that they didn’t even care that they had lost that potential business.

They installed your solar planes and are still waiting on inspection. They left a mess in our yard when they were done. Along with switching project managers while waiting on inspection l. I had to reach out and figure out about the switch. When I talked to them, their installers had labeled the project completed, so I had to send proof it wasn't. As of time of this review, I haven't heard anything about the inspection being set up.

Terrible experience so far. My panels have been on my roof for 4 months. Panels have not generated one kw of power. I have called and called and called. No one in a position of management has reached out. I called the service department, left 4 messages, and no one has called me back. The part we need has been picked up but no one will get the service person to come swap it out. So far this has been a terrible experience with no end in sight.

After speaking with Patrick Hausman, from My Roof Solar, who provided excellent customer service, vast knowledge of solar, attention to detail, and answers to all of my solar questions I recently decided to get solar panels installed! He has done a phenomenal job in making the process go smoothly and is always a call/text away. If the installation process goes half as smoothly as the sales and information gathering process did I will be an ecstatic customer. I can not recommend Patrick and My Roof Solar highly enough and will be referring all friends & family with roofing/solar needs to them!

The sales team did an incredible job explaining the process of how solar panels work and how beneficial it is to me and the environment. I'm very impressed! From the sales team to the installation team, they are very knowledgeable and skilled professionals. Thank you My Roof Solar for an amazing experience! Take a HARD pass on My Roof Solar!!! I signed the sales contract back on February 2023, today is 8/18/2023 and the solar panels is still not completely with no estimated completion date. Calls and emails goes unanswered; I’m now paying for the solar panels and my full electricity bills. Sent an email on 8/14/2023 requesting reimbursement for the payments I’ve made towards the solar panels and all future payments until the projects completed. Haven’t received a response, and base on past experiences, I don’t anticipate hearing back from them. I’ll probably be taking to a lawyer here in the next two weeks if the company keeps ignoring me. Only went with the company because the sales person lived close by. But he’s an employee doing his job, and did it well. The moral of the story is, choose a company that dose their own install that don’t rely on contractors!!! Lesson learn, get everything in writing to include a completion.

My experience with My Roof Solar was top tier. They communicated from start to finish, and were very transparent with the entire process. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly everything was completed, everyone I worked with was great! I will recommend My Roof Solar to everyone i know!

While my wife and I were in the process of talking to Solar Companies, Jay and Jacob from My Roof Solar knocked on our door. After we explained to them what another Major company had done to us by cancelling our contract with them, Jay and Jacob worked extremely hard to iron out any problems and were able to make an awesome deal with us. The installers started today and already have the panels on our roof. The system will be hooked up mid next week so we can start saving on our electric bills. The warranty we have provides us the security and peace of mind that we are using the best company for the job. Thanks My Roof Solar for a job well done !

I was ask to provide a review from the company- my initial response was good as I thought they completed the job. We are now 3 mths after install. Just now getting inspection from one of there own and it was a complete fail! She stated there are so many things they did not complete. So we have to wait another week for her to come back and recheck. Total lack of communication from them. I have reached out with no response! If you have someone else to install your solar I would certainly go with another company. My Roof Solar is well below average!
Update- to your response said owner! The electrician came and tried to finish yesterday. He had to order a part that was supposed to be ordered back in September. It was not ordered so we are still waiting. Your company is was funded $100k in September from Good Leap! I would love to know where the rest of our funding is for this fiasco!

When the lead Engineer shows up to finish and cleanup the previous work all on a holiday weekend, My Roof Solar and their staff continue to proceed to me that they stand behind their products. Their is a process but unfortunately delays remain inherent in this new program as it begins to grow and it isn’t as well defined to customer. My Roof Solar did as defined and was very responsive to my requests. I recommend that when thinking of Solar don’t be afraid to be clear on your request up front and understand the entire process.
I would recommend My Roof Solar for future solar projects.
UPDATE: My Roof Solar is still providing excellent service. After a year plus of operations a panel stopped reporting/producing and after contacting My Roof Solar their tech was out and corrected the issue! Still supporting their customers years after!

This company sold me panels under the guise of an "investment". They told me that I would save money and improve the value of my house, none of which has been true. The panels only provided a 65% offset (but still insisted on selling me a reverse meter???), left me with an electric bill, and a note on the panels which combined, were higher than my highest electric bill before solar. The salesman also told me that it would improve the value of my house. I put my house on the market, and received not one offer, and I have multiple messages from my realtor saying that people are not putting in offers specifically due to the solar panels, copies of which I have forwarded to the Texas AG's office and the BBB.

This company has caused me financial harm, and when I tried to reach out to them privately about my issues, they told me that they company is under new ownership and they only acquired the assets, but no liabilities, and that they cannot help me with my issue. No where in my contract does it say that the contract is void due to a change in ownership, but the company has now directed me to a private individual who previously owned the company to file the complaint, even though I purchased the panels via the LLC, not a private individual.

I have e-mailed back and forth with the company twice, and both times, they have taken multiple days to respond, and only responded after I sent follow up emails saying I was awaiting a response. The irony of this is their website markets themselves as having "... unwavering around-the-clock support...".

Do not buy panels from this company.

Don’t get solar from this company!! You will have an electricity bill and have to pay your note on system!!! company is absolutely deceitful. We had a rep come out and tell us we would have no electricity bill and would only have to pay the monthly note for the system. After getting the system we still have an electric bill and have to pay the note on the system. My husband and I were told several times we wouldn’t have an electricity bill from the power company. He even promised if we did the company would fix it on them. We have had our solar for months and have had a very high electric bill still. Nobody is helping me resolve the issue when I call. The people I talk to are saying that we never were promised not to also have an electric bill. My question why would we even get solar if that was the case. They’re acting so deceitful. They won’t help me resolve the issue and are acting like I knew it would be this way. I’m writing to anyone getting a system from them do not listen to them if they say you won’t have electric bill. It’s a complete lie. Don’t make the mistake we did.

In Response to My Roof Solars Reply: It makes absolutely no sense that a reliable company would send representatives that you are not personally affiliated with. Then also not making an effort to make things right when it has to with your company is very unprofessional. I have called this number and the person I spoke with said what I listed above. That I was never promised what I was clearly promised. That my system is working fine. Which barely covers half my bill.

This company is shady! They worked with an independent sales company to con us! They charged and was paid $100,000 for the sale of my 16 panels on 1700 sqft home. In turn gave us back $30k in cash and then gave a cut to the sales group. I am stuck with a $100,000 lean on my property. MY SOLAR PANELS ONLY SAVE ME about $6.00 A MONTH SOMETIMES LESS! STEER CLEAR OF THIS TRASH!

I would not recommend this company. We used them a little over a year ago. Communication was tough during the install process which should have been a red flag. Since the install they are truly impossible to get a hold of. Lots of phone calls and emails to them and not one response.

The men that showed up to install my solar panels did a amazing job,they were kind and respectful. They did not leave anything on my lawn,they cleaned up when finished.
I would recommend them for any solar panel job.

After several months of high energy bills, I finally made the decision to jump over to solar power. My experience with MyRoof has been by far superb! Everything from the salesperson to the technicians, I want to give a shout out to Greg and Ty. Not only have they shown their interest to giving their clients nothing but the best service, but they will go above and beyond to make it happen. Anything from long hours to attention to details when installing new equipment and strive to keep their work nice, neat and best of all ORGANIZED!
