Landscaping reviews in Plano, Texas

Stay away, horrible company to deal with. God forbid you have to call the office, they're rude and it took them 9 days to return my call.
-
These people don't respect people's property and don't understand trespassing. They repeatedly trespass onto my property and kill my grass with their lawn scalping techniques. BEWARE
-
I’ve never seen such messy landscapers take some pride in your work!!!! left a mess… hwy 66 4-2-25

I have used Pro cut for 27 years. Kevin (owner of the company) has always gone out of his way to help me with lawn, tree, and landscape issues.
-
Awful customer service. We would ask for a service and they would never do it. Had to keep track of their time because they would try to over-bill. broke my fence trying to get a huge riding mower in mack yard and dented my garage door. Not worth the price.

It's great to know the workers are so wonderful at their job. They must always be on time as well since they speed down 75 going about 90 switching in and out of lanes.
Great job guys! Hopefully you don't wreck one day🙏 -
I cancelled my service with them at the beginning of September. 2 weeks later I saw them on my Nest camera mowing my lawn. I called them immediately and they stated I would not be billed and they would make sure that I was taken off the list. 2 weeks later, there they are on my camera again. I contacted them over text and got a snarky response in all caps that "I HAD IT CANCELLED I ALSO EXPLAINED THAT WE ARE INTEGRATING INTO NEW EMPLOYEES AND COMPUTER SOFTWARE YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR THIS AND I APOLOGIZE FOR ANY AND ALL INCONVENIENCES." That was on 9/23. Today, 10/10 I got an email receipt from them that they had charged my card for $65.
This is absolutely horrible customer service. I understand glitches here and there but I have now contacted them FOUR times to cancel my service. -
We are dealing with this company for our landscape maintenance, all is well no question. We contracted with them after installing a pool to do our back yard landscaping. Very happy about the result, on time, on budget, flexibility, responsiveness.
Raymond our contact is a good professional. -
We just started using Pro Cut last month and had an issue. We contacted the office and the issue has been resolved yard looks better than ever. We live on Westridge Golf Course and compete with very particular neighbors for the best lawn. Thank you for your services!!!

I have to ask, is it the client's responsibility to pay more because it takes the company longer to cut your grass based on the equipment THEY have available at the time? Is this common in the lawn care business? Both times they cut our lawn, there were places completely misses and ignored. Not happy with the customer service here. Not worth $100/hour, and don't be fooled, because that's what you'll be charged if they show up with push mowers instead of the rider ("because it was not available ") and that's your responsibility as the customer.
Anyone, please correct me if I'm being to harsh here. -
As a contractor, I come across alot of different people in the home improvement space. I couldn’t put into words how blown away I have been with the professionalism and quality of work from Kevin and Pro Cut. I refer them to all of my clients and friends. This is a quality company!

We hired this company to maintain our yard while our house was on the market and we were out of state. They provided services above and beyond our expectations.
Their communication via the online portal and their staff is unparalleled by any other lawn care business in the area. -
The owner Ken was a friend of mine, but never cared about my issues or even contacting me when I requested him to multiple times over the years about their complete inability to do things, do them correctly, not break other things when doing them, finish the job, or just show up for the services contracted on a monthly basis. My last email with Pro Cut Lawncare after 5 years of literally fighting them every single month for 5 years:
"Let this email be the official notice that Pro Cut Lawncare is being fired for Breach of Contract, Dishonest Trade Practices and Willful Misconduct.
These are all potential FTC triple damages lawsuits.
Immediately stop all current and future work permanently beginning immediately.
Let the copies of my invoices and the pictures attached, and also sent to both Raymond and Rocky repeatedly prove, as a small sample of evidence, of these potential lawsuits should you pursue any additional billings or payments for any work now or in the past.
I also have years long text streams with Raymond and Rocky as further evidence of these potential claims against Pro Cut Lawncare as additional proof of your constant inability to fulfill your contracted obligations."
There are too many reputable companies with lots better ratings to choose from.
I am guessing that any positive reviews are for large new construction landscape projects or complete redo's of landscaping; because that's the only thing that Kevin is a part of anymore. The reviews do not apply to any services offered by the lawncare, sprinkler, maintenance or repair side. -
I have been a customer of Pro Cut Lawn Care since 2009, when I bought my house. Over the years, not only has Pro Cut Lawn Care taken care of my lawn but also installed a French Drain, a Soaker Hose, fixed my Sprinklers, planted trees, landscaping and most recently, fixed a leaking water pipe inside the concrete slab.
Kevin, the former owner, is knowledgeable, honest and is just a good person that keeps his word. Raymond, the current owner, is also extremely knowledgeable, very dependable and like Kevin, always keeps his word. If you live in an area that is serviced by Pro Cut Lawn Care and you are looking for a great family-oriented lawn care service, Pro Cut Lawn Care is an excellent choice. -
I have been using ProCuts for a number of years now. Although I am not a major customer they have always treated me like I was. They do an excellent job in mowing my yard, even getting the space between my fence and the alley. They have also put down new sod, seeded bald spots, repaired the sprinkler system, and taken care of every need I might name. I would recommend their services highly.

Update: After several weekly discussions with your crew they have stopped scalping the grass when edging allowing the edging grass to finally grow back so I've udjusted my review to be more favorable. Please keep up the excellent work! The yard looks great!!
Original Post: Your guys are killing our grass by trimming too close to the ground periodically. We have addressed the issue multiple times and it still continues. Just when the grass started to grow back your guys came the other day and scalped it nearly to the ground again. The grass used to be lush and green in the spots they have killed. -
GroGreen has been servicing my lawn/shrubs/trees for about 3 years. When I initially started with them my lawn had a terrible problem with Dalis grass in the front yard, which was half Bermuda, and half St Augustine, which made it difficult to treat. They managed to treat the problem without damaging the St Augustine grass, I've been a fan since. The crepe myrtle trees in the back are doing great, and the front hedge, which was damaged my the winter storm in 2021 is coming back nicely. Their prices are very competitive, and their customer service is unbeatable.

We have used Grogreen for 28+ years and are very pleased with their services. From aeration to fertilization, they handle all of our landscaping needs.

3 yrs in and my backyard still looks like a cow pasture. Front yard is mostly fine but they can’t seem to get control of the spring weeds. They always change the appointments too. Quite frustrating, but they do show eventually.

This company has been a complete nightmare. For a while, the service was good. We have a good-size lot. Then, for whatever reason, I would watch as the person treating our lawn would have his work “done” in about 7 minutes, then go sit in his car for 25 minutes. This happened multiple times, and not surprisingly, our lawn quickly went south. I called out for retreatment a couple of times, but I finally grew frustrated and canceled service in February.
Only to get a text from GroGreen weeks later telling me they were coming out to treat my lawn. So I called GroGreen and AGAIN canceled my service, making my frustration clear that I did not want them to come treat my lawn.
Now, I get a phone call telling me that I owe $80-something for a lawn treatment I specially told them NOT to perform in April. So now I’m dealing with that. The complete lack of reliable service at any level has been frustrating and disappointing. -
Great service that makes my grass look amazing. Marcus Z was here today making sure it will return like this after the winter.
