GroGreen does a pretty good job at keeping the lawn freedom free. They do not always show up for service appointments, but they do eventually reschedule and provide the service. They are more expensive than their competitors. Bottomline is as long as the lawn is weed free and the grass looks good I am good with their service.

We have been customers of GroGreen for over 10 years and have always been happy. They do a great job and are very responsive when we need additional service due to extra weeds. We also have been very happy with the mosquito treatment! Russell communicates well and always does an excellent job.

Gro Green has taken care of an issue we had and we are very pleased with the result.

I have used the company for years with no problem. The last time they were out my lawn was ruined. I have been calling for over a week now with no response! They are not BBB accredited so I can not make a complaint with them. I have no choice other than taking them to court.

GroGreen is timely, professional and efficient in removing pests from my home. Our technician, Daniel Keeton, did a great job removing a carpenter ant infestation, and is on time, courteous and friendly. Would recommend this service for any homeowner.

I’m singing your praises! My yard was in a bad way the spring. I used a lawn service for a number of years and was very dissatisfied. My yard waned further and further into a disappointment. I finally stopped the service and tried on my own to no avail. I contacted GroGreen to assist. I wasn’t expecting much. To my amazement and jubilation my yard is vertically weed free and my grass is getting thicker and more lush. GroGreen is definitely moving my yard in the right direction. TY!!!!

I have used Gro Green for around a year. I was looking forward to nice, well manicured lawn this Spring/Summer. Unfortunately, my yard is dead. When I called to cancel my service they asked if they could send someone out to "look" at the yard. I agreed. Their notes state that the yard was not watered and unkempt and that was the reason the yard was dead. Unfortunately, this is just not true. My yard is watered every other day with an automatic sprinkler system. I have a regular lawn maintenance crew who comes to mow the yard. The reason my yard is dead is because they either over treated it or didn't treat it correctly. What I was hoping to gain was an effort to correct the issues but what I got was a phone call that said "let us know if you would like to restart your service." I would not recommend this service to anyone. At over $100 a month for a year I expected better customer service and a better looking yard.

I have been with GroGreen more than 25 years. Their techs have never disappointed me. I highly recommend all their services.

UPDATE: After posting our 1-star review, Darrell from Grow Green came out and could not have been more kind and helpful to my sister-in-law. They first attempted to treat the lawn again to see if it would come back, however, it didn't. Last week, they came out and replaced the lawn in all of the areas where it had died. Excellent customer service. ORIGINAL REVIEW: My sister-in-law (recently widowed) moved into a new home in Rockwall and had them come service her Saint Augustine grass for weeds. Within a week the grass started dying. She had them come back out and they told her she was not watering enough. The grass continued to die. The manager, Sean came out, was rude and condescending, said she was not watering enough. They had a technician come out who took a core sample and the ground had plenty of water. she lives in a neighborhood with an HOA, and as a new neighbor she was concerned that people would be complaining that she was not taking care of her lawn. The Lawn died and now she has to replace it. The manager Sean was not willing to rectify the situation. Do not do business with this company. They are dishonest and do not care about their quality of work even when they make a mistake.

This company has good/friendly customer service, but that’s it.
They are not effective at all. The quality of their work is of no importance to them and I’m not kidding. They are nice, they will come out and spray when you call, but after they spray whatever they spray, more weeds pop up and they simply don’t get any results.
They don’t seem to know what they are doing, I guess they are just checking boxes and moving on to the next property because you don’t get results with these folks.
Got patches and brown spots they haven’t been able to fix in years. My neighbor has CitiTurf and I might be switching real soon or doing this stuff myself.

Updated: They fixed the issue so I updated their rating. I’m happy now.

Again, they are nice folks so if you’re looking for nice folks, this is your company. If you need results you gotta go elsewhere or do it yourself. Never seen a company care less about results or quality work.

Update: They came out and fixed it so I’m improving the rating to 5 stars.

Review update, 11/22/2019
In fairness to GroGreen I waited 1 year to reevaluate them. I increased the rating from 1 star to 3 stars. We ended up repairing the damage they caused a year ago, but used them all of 2019. Our lawn was greener this year but we had hoped it would have been more greener. There were fewer weeds this year, but we believe that much more of them should have been killed. We treated the Dalisgras ourselves. We will most likely use them again in 2020.
November 2018: After a year of service we are cancelling anything else from GroGreen. As you can see by the pictures they tore up our lawn. The ground was soft due to the rain so for the technician to constantly hit the same spot repeatedly was stupid. It will now cost me several hundred dollars to repair the lawn.
They say they can't treat Dallisgrass which if you are a lawn care company you should be able to figure out a way to do so. That aside, our lawn was constantly filled with other weeds they should have killed. There are areas around the house with an inside angle that were never treated.
We used them a few years ago and they were awesome, but now very bad.

I have had persistent weed issues throughout the growing season and nothing seems to work. My self applied broadleaf weed control was the shining star this year. All the technicians have been outstanding as usual.

I was not home at time of service however technician Chris left the usual detailed summary of services performed plus a small yard sign showing he was physically here.

We have had GroGreen treat our lawn for over 10 years, and we have the healthiest greenest lawn of anyone, its thick and lush and beautiful! Sean is so polite and professional he has a friendly smile and great attitude. Thank you GroGreen for giving us a yard to be proud of!

Don't waste your money with this GroGreen. I had been a customer for over ten years with them always doing the prepay option for their services. Over the last 5 years I have seen their service go downhill. My lawn was getting taking over by weeds, my trees were struggling and losing leaves. All attempts to have them address the issue did not lead to any positive results. When you try to reach oa manager they will never put in you contact with them and instead tell you that they will request a call back for you. But that never happens even after calling 5 times over several months. They have terrible customer service and terrible results. Do yourself a favor and avoid Gro Green.

I have tried, relativey unsuccessfully over the years to do my own lawn care, re fertilizer and pest control. Finally last year i decided enough was enough. Jesus was treating next door and we had a discussion. I signed up. I have been very happy with the services, and Jesus in particular. I know its a marathon, not a sprint, to a perfect lawn. Jesus always discusses treatments and listens, and addresses my concerns. I am continuing to use GroGreen in a very competitive space. Very happy!

I’ve been using GroGreen for a very long time and my grass and shrubs are always beautiful and lush. The deep root feeding for the shrubs is an absolute game changer! My technician CHRIS FLOTOW is the best! He does a great job and always happy to answer any questions I have and he is very meticulous! Thanks Shonda Hardy

I met the exterminator for the first time, and he explained that he would only come a few times per year and would only spray along the foundation of our house. He was a very nice guy, but his explanation was contrary to my understanding that this was a monthly service that treated the whole yard, including mosquito control. I'm disappointed to hear that the service is not what I thought I am paying for. We need to discuss what what you do and the price.

If you're using GroGreen's services, I recommend checking your security cameras immediately. You may be wasting money without receiving proper service. I've been using GroGreeb's lawn care service for about two years. Last month, when the technician came by as usual to spray chemical things, I happened to be working from home. I have cameras in my front and back yards, so I knew right away when the technician visited. However, he only sprayed a portion of my front yard and didn't even come into my backyard before ending the service. I immediately asked him why he hadn't serviced my backyard, and he lied, saying it was already done. I knew he hadn't serviced my backyard because I had a camera in my backyard and was working in my bedroom, which overlooked it. I called GroGreen to report this, but they lied, saying they had already done the service, and sent me the bill. I hope no one like me ever becomes a victim again.
