Another job completed by Flip the Switch and done to our satisfaction! Thank you to Benjamin and his assistant for the hard work you guys put into this job. Moving our meter base and coordinating with the city to get our overhead powerlines switched to underground was a big project but we new we were hiring the best electrician to get it done. Benjamin did a great job installing a transfer switch for my generator to prepare my house in case of another power outage. His communication (through e-mail, text, and in-person) was great. The workmanship was excellent and his prices were fair. I highly recommend him for general electrical work for your home.

We had to upgrade out panel as it was on its last legs and we also wanted to put in a level 2 EV charger. Ben was great and clarified any questions I had. During the actual install, he coordinated the entire process with Oncor. Will recommend and will use for future projects.

My project was to add an outlet in utility closet so when our power goes out we can run the system on a generator. They were able to install the outlet and made sure it worked. Benjamin and his apprentice were on time and did a fantastic job installing a 50A inlet for my portable generator during emergency power outages. He also installed grounding rods in my older home which lacked them. I would recommend him to anyone in the area who is looking for an electrician.

We had him out to fix a few things around the house. He was able to determine that one of our issues was likely attributable to Oncor and he placed the work order with them.

Recently had a car charger installed. Benjamin and his team were great! They were very professional, answered all of my questions and the work was done correctly.

Wonderful experience with Flip the Switch! We used Benjamin to install some wall sconces and a few other electrical items. Excellent communication and attention to detail. He took extra time to complete the work the correct way, instead of cutting corners to get it done faster which I have run in to a lot with hiring for home projects. I’m sometimes skeptical of places that have full 5 stars in all their reviews (are they pushing customers to leave reviews, etc), but can honestly Flip the Switch deserves every star.

We had several non-functional outlets in our home, and Benjamin explained clearly what he was checking for and what the root cause was (it turned out to be loose wiring in one outlet that was impacting several other outlets).

He warned me that due to the style of wiring, it likely meant other outlets in my home likely have this issue and could lead to fires, and the best resolution would be to replace outlets throughout the home. However, he never pushed me to get to do an overhaul ASAP. He just educated me for the future so I could be aware of potential issues and factor it into future home improvement plans.

The things that make Flip the Switch exceptional for me:
1) Other technicians were quoting a $250 fee to just diagnose the problem, whereas Flip the Switch just had a $69 trip charge and charged for fixing one outlet (which solved the issue for 3 other outlets).

2) Benjamin was extremely kind, patient in his explanations, and respectful of our home (we’ve had 8 different contractors come through and he was the only one to wear shoe covers to help keep our bedroom floors clean).

We can’t say enough great things about Benjamin Moore and his company Flip The Switch. He installed landscape lighting, 2 ceiling fans, and completed a variety of other electrical projects in our home. He took his time to ensure that each project was completed correctly and we couldn’t be more pleased. He was consistently on time, personable, and communicated well through every project.
