I had a great experience with the technician who came to repair my washer today. Curtis was professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. He explained everything clearly and made sure I understood the issue and solution. It’s rare to see such strong communication skills paired with a warm attitude. I truly appreciate the excellent service and would highly recommend this company.

When I moved into my new home about a year ago, the builder gave me a Whirlpool washer as a move-in gift. Unfortunately, not long after using it, the washer started making a loud noise. I contacted Whirlpool under the manufacturer warranty, and a third-party repair company, Guinco, was assigned.
The technician was very polite and professional, but after the first repair and part replacement, the noise returned. They replaced another part, and instead of fixing the problem, the situation became much worse. Water began leaking from the bottom of the washer in my second-floor laundry room. This caused water to leak through the ceiling, soaking the drywall on the first floor and even triggering the smoke detector. It was a very stressful and frightening situation.
A plumber had to come and cut open the ceiling, and it is still in that condition because we are waiting for the washer repair to be completed. The most frustrating part is that this happened right around the end of the 12-month warranty period. Even though the problem started within the warranty period, Whirlpool refused to take responsibility, saying the warranty had already expired and that I should work with the extended warranty company instead.
I have an extended warranty through Domestic & General, but they keep redirecting me back to Whirlpool or Guinco. No one is taking ownership of the problem. Today, a technician came with a replacement part that was shipped to my home, but when the box was opened, the part was damaged, so it had to be reordered. This means I must wait again.
I have now been unable to use my washer for over a month and have been spending more than $50 every week at a coin laundry. No one has offered any compensation or shown concern for the inconvenience and damage caused. There have already been 4–5 service visits, but the washer is still not fixed. I have requested a replacement, but Guinco says they cannot request one from Whirlpool. Domestic & General tells me to “be patient,” even after I explained that my home ceiling is still open and I cannot complete repairs.
This has been an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience. The customer service from Whirlpool, Guinco, and Domestic & General has been the worst I have ever experienced. I strongly recommend that anyone considering Whirlpool products or extended warranties carefully think before making a decision.
