I’ve used Cold Factor for years. I do their monthly subscription for the summer and winter checkups and tuning. I’ve purchased a new furnace/blower and new Coils/condenser. I’ve had them install filter boxes in the attic before the blower for cleaner system and ease of changing filters. They’ve recently replaced a clogged and rusted drain pan and line for me. They’re truly knowledgeable experts, that also use technology to confirm and help visualize certain issues. They’ve been on time, every time. They’re fair priced and do great quality work. I’ll probably replace damaged ducting with them soon too! Couldn’t recommend ColdFactor enough!

We are so grateful for this company for so many reasons. Today is just one of the many. We called at 4 o’clock in the afternoon to let them know that we were having air-conditioning problems and had an event at 6 o’clock. They texted me within two minutes to tell me that somebody was on their way. And we’re there within 20 minutes and not only had our air conditioner fixed but our space cooled in time for our event. Without questions save the day. Service is excellent. People are so kind. The young lady on the phone was brilliant, patient and kind. We could not have been more grateful !!!!!!! It was just overall the BEST experience.

Cold factor heating & air technician was the first to take an honest look at my system and had it fixed within the first 10 min of his visit. He continued to make sure everything was working properly before leaving. I had 5 companies come out prior to cold factor and they all said there was nothing they could do other then sell me a new system. Jason from cold Factor has earned my business for life. The most honest and informative tech I have had the pleasure of working with. It also seemed like he enjoyed his job, constantly smiling and positive attitude.

I had quotes from 3 other companies saying I needed a full system replacement. I called Cold Factor asking them offer a quote as well, but their tech Jason did what the others could not (or didn't want to do?) and fixed the problem by cleaning the evaporator coils and gave me several do-it-yourself tips to boot. His focus was on saving me money, and now Cold Factor is my HVAC company for life. Save your time and money and just call them first!

Jason knows his stuff! Highly recommend him and his team. They replaced our plenums and made a few other adjustments this morning (in 93 degree Texas heat, even) and we’re already seeing our old AC performing better than it has in years. He gets the science behind why things work like they do and wasn’t just trying to sell us — he wanted our units to be more efficient. They’re both set to 76 in middle of day and it’s still cool in the house.

Jason saved us from the brutal Texas summer heat. Both AC units went out a few weeks ago, and he quickly and accurately diagnosed the problems. During his initial visit, he repaired the upstairs unit and provided us with a portable AC for the lower level.
A week later, the replacement unit for downstairs arrived, and the lower level was finally back to normal. Jason returned again the following Sunday night to fix a drainage pipe issue in the upstairs unit. His after-sales service has been truly appreciated by our family.
He also discovered that the airflow registers had been incorrectly installed by the builder and replaced all of them throughout the house as part of the installation. We will never forget the extra mile Jason went to restore our comfort during the sweltering summer.
I would recommend Cold Factor Heating & Air to anyone.

My AC decided to stop getting cool Monday night. Tuesday morning I called 6 different companies to try to get something booked. Everyone was booked for 1-2 days or more, understandable given how hot its been. Cold Factor originally told me they couldnt do same day but I booked a next day to get on the schedule. About 1 hr later they called with an opening and could have someone by noon same day. Bobby arrived within the window provided and had my AC up and running within an hour. And when I was emailed a copy of the invoice they included pics of readings. Highly recommend and would use again
