Description of work:
I had a firepit built and surrounded by pavers, a stone surround on a natural gas grill installed, 6" cedar posts added to my patio and an old grill removed.

I couldn't be happier with the work and level of service Zach and his team provided. They started on the agreed upon date and the crew arrived early each day to get started. Abel, Tomas, Estaban and the entire crew are very talented. I asked for minor changes and adjustments to the project as it was in progress and the crew had no problem making these changes. They came back at my request when the project were completed to ensure I was 100% satisfied with the functionality of the firepit. I would highly recommend this landscaping company and I look forward to using them again.

We hired Clients First Landscape Solutions to design and install landscaping around our outdoor patio and spa area as well as set stones around our front yard planting areas. We love the project landscaping and could not be more satisfied. Johnathan was our main point of contact and worked with us throughout the whole project. He communicated with us during the whole project asking if we saw any issues or concerns and likewise, he came to us when they ran into an unforeseen issue. The field team was great and consciences. Anyway, we absolutely love the stone that Johnathan picked out for our front yard planting beds. The stone compliments our home brick/rock. We also particularly like the plants they put in around our spa. Again, those accent the spa area and create a secluded feel to the spa area. Johnathan did a final project walk through and we identified a few things his crew could fix/improve. This was not an issue and Johnathan certainly cared about the project quality. I do recommend Clients First and will reach out to them for future projects I may have.

I hired Clients First to do an extensive front yard landscaping project on my home after a very bad project mgmt and installation with another very well known landscaping and outdoor design company who does work in the Dallas area. I have to say that Clients First was SUCH a positive experience.

Jonathan was my lead contact. His professionalism, creativity, and knowledge earned my trust in our very first meeting. Jonathan created 3D renderings of my home and yard, using it to build me a high quality mock-up inclusive of not only my front yard, but his recommendations on a future backyard patio/kitchen I want to build. His estimate was detailed, clear, with prices that were competitive. It was an easy decision to go with CF for the work.

When I mentioned, in passing, that my pregnant wife was due in a matter of weeks, he accelerated my project to be installed within 48 hours of signing my contract. I found it incredibly kind. The crew doing the installation were highly professional and competent. The finished project is beautiful.

When it's time to do other projects at my house, I'm definitely giving these guys + Jonathan a call. They saved my yard!

I began the project to put in a flagstone patio on my own and pretty quickly got in over my head. I called CFLS to come out and give me a quote to finish out the job with the materials that I had purchased. We had a tight timeframe because we were hosting a party and needed it to be done by then.

It became apparent that the materials I had purchased were not sufficient for completing the job. They came up with an alternative solution and knocked it out within our time window. The patio looks better than I imagined and it has been a wonderful addition to our backyard!

Working with Client first as community manager, their team is always quick to respond. can answer any question you have about landscaping. Thomas, Drew and Nathan are my go to guys when it comes to landscaping.

I had an absolutely amazing experience with Clients First! The communication was excellent, and our initial consult went very well. They responded in a timely manner and did a great job at answering all of my questions and helping to come up with a design for my backyard that matched with what I was wanting even when it was hard for me to verbalize. Jack was very thorough and did a great job at staying in touch the entire time. The crew was excellent and respectful. They completed my backyard renovation in a very timeline manner and I'm so in love with the final result. I will use Clients First for any additional landscaping projects. As a new manager in tx from pa, I have greatly enjoyed working with nathan ford and CF landscape. They are super responsive, will go out when you need and help me with HOA issues. They are so easy to work with and have made the transition from pa to tx easy! They are great at what they do and know their stuff! Always looking out for their properties!

Just finished a long project with Clients First redoing front and back landscaping and patio extension with roof. I can’t really comment on pricing because I did something kinda unusual - I had talked with different contractors but didn’t get bids from each one of them. You may think that is a silly thing to do but I don’t see a point of moving forward if we don’t have the same vision. Most contractors I have met with asked me what I wanted then said “ are you sure? That’s going to be very expensive!” It was driving me crazy when nobody could really listen to what I want without asking me to check my pocket first. Then, here comes Zach who was able to throw in ideas and elements to give me the look that I am going for. The communication was smooth and easy through out the whole project. His field guy,Julio, always kept me updated on what they were doing. (Yes some days to a point that I felt a little too much 😂) there were hiccups along the way but eventually they got them corrected and done. Now, I am in love with my little yard and it’s like a second living room for me. If I need to pick on anything, that would be the overly politeness of the crew! I am a pretty casual person and it gives me goosebumps every time when Julio calls me “Mrs Joyce” 😉 give me a break Mr Julio! 😂😂 love you guys !

My experience started off great. We exchanged a few emails. I shared details about what I wanted. The discussion went pretty smoothly in the beginning.
After getting the proposal, I asked if they could explain to me what some of the line items were. I didn't receive it. I also thought I was going to get photos of examples of things and some kind of sketch of what my backyard will look like. I didn't receive any of that. I trusted the company, so I just remained patient. A good chunk of time went by before anything got started. I'm pretty patient and understanding of times when work needs to get pushed back for some reason. There were some huge delays for this project. Not a big deal for me since I wasn't losing money on anything.
The main reason why I'm putting 3 stars is because of how unorganized things were. The person I was in touch with stated a lot of things that'd be done that just got looked passed upon. Communication was unclear. Most of the quality of work was good. Some of it I felt like could have been better.
Currently, there's a bunch of weeds and grass growing through the granite they laid over on top

Zack, Mike, Tommy & the entire Client’s First crew did an amazing job on our backyard.

Our 1968 North Dallas back yard had become dilapidated with considerable shade, little grass and massive drainage issues. We sought a landscaping company that could solve the drainage issues, install some hardscape, update our sprinklers and turn the shaded, no-grass dirt into a forest oasis.

We had discussions with many landscaping companies, but then we found Clients First. After meeting with Zach he sent a bid to us within 2 hours. He worked with us to make adjustments so it would fit in our budget and the result is a great back yard at a fair price.

We had our old concrete partially removed then a Pennsylvania Blue Stone patio overlaid the remaining concrete. Next to that they installed a french drain as well as one on the opposite site of the yard. Over that french drain a dry creek bed was laid. In the center of the yard they poured a new concrete patio for a fire pit area with poured concrete steps leading out to it and around the side of the yard integrating to the dried creek bed. In addition, they installed new sprinklers converting the old system to a water-conserving, drip system.

Throughout the process they communicated and collaborated on every detail. They began on time, every time, always respected us and our property.

There were a few unexpected hiccups which were addressed right away and solved to our satisfaction. For example, on the day of the concrete pour, they weren't able to start as early as planned, but still poured that day and stayed till 9 pm to smooth the pour.

I have nothing but praise for Clients First Landscaping. They are returning this spring to do the planting in the back yard and remodel our front yard as well. I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone for any landscaping project large or small. They really do put their Clients First.

I used this company for a complete overhaul of my front landscaping. When the work was completed, I voiced my skepticism about the size and quality of the plants and their placement but was reassured that it would be fine. They were basically twigs that they planted that were supposed to be my base landscaping. They completely washed away with a couple of good rains. Nearly everything was gone. I called them, they came out and quoted me another 12k to get new plantings in. I have sent multiple emails to them with no answer. I have since hired a reputable company and they have done an outstanding job. CF is a horrible company that doesn’t stand behind their work. I am surprised they are still open for business.

The business reply is an outright lie. These plants didn’t die back, they are gone. The pictures speak for themselves. And as for as crediting me for the plants, there was zero credit. Of course, I wanted more, I got nothing. They have not emailed me back either so I’m not sure where they are getting these reviews from. Possibly friends, family and employees. I never write reviews but since I received no reply to emails, I decided to go another route.

Clients First Landscape Solutions did my neighbor's yard, and I loved it so much that I contacted them for my own yard. Zach met with me 2 times to make sure everything fit my budget and vision. He has great modern taste, and the yard is exactly how I envisioned it.

There were a few bumps along the way that led to my yard taking longer than expected to be finished. Zach made sure to send guys back out to fix anything that I wasn't satisfied with. Great service and commitment to customers!

July 2017 - I met with several landscapers before choosing Clients First for a significant project. I made the right decision. My experience with them was exceptional from start to finish. Zach was very knowledgeable and responsive from quote to completion, and their team did an excellent job executing our project. They engaged us regularly about our preferences and were extremely responsive to any minor concerns we had. In the end, we got exactly what we want and the work looks great! The company truly lives up to their name.

Our project included the following work:

- concrete pool deck & path replacement with paving stones
- retaining wall rebuild
- stone wall tuck pointing
- flower bed edging replacement
- back fill and leveling of yard
- sod replacement
- crushed granite path installation along fence line.

I highly recommend them for all of these services!

June 2018 - I want to update my previous review, because I had a settling issue with the pool deck pavers Clients First installed last July. I contacted Zach to let him know about the gaps opening up between the pavers and the cracks in the stone border mortar. He immediately responded that it was covered under warranty and provided me with a time frame for his team to repair it. They came out, added re-bar and concrete to the foundation to prevent future shifting and relaid all the pavers. Couldn't be happier with the responsiveness and workmanship. Many companies are quick to respond to problems when money is on the line, but this is one of the few I've worked with that cares about their clients when there is nothing to gain financially. Couldn't be happier!

This was our first landscaping project (Xeriscape) and Clients First was very flexible with using our design ideas and making any changes before and during the work. The landscaping team was very professional, hardworking, and came to us with any questions or clarifications when needed. We had a good experience and would recommend their services for home landscaping needs.

This is our second experience using Zach and Client's First Landscape Solutions. Once again they exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again. I give Zach and Client's First my highest recommendation. They did a great job breathing new life into our landscaping and wee can't wait to enjoy our space this summer.

There is a somewhat well known phrase about quality of work: "Quality is NEVER an ACCIDENT".

That is probably the best I can describe the craftsmanship, finish and detail that the team at Clients First Landscape Solutions provided for this project.

A little background: In 2014 I built the house I am currently in and when my wife and I closed in 2015, the backyard was a little "blah" (see the two pics of the empty backyard). My wife and I have always envisioned of putting something back there but never could come up with a suitable plan.

Let's fast forward to November of 2019 and we toyed with the idea of having another company come out and redo our backyard after losing the grass you see in the first two photos due to improper slope, grass not rooted, flooding; you name it. The backyard was a mess.

In 2021, we took a good look at doing this project agYou ain, and after some research and deliberation, we decided to go with Clients First.

From the initial meeting with Zach, where he came out and looked at the backyard and came up with a solution to solve a major water issue, to coming up with a design that my wife was happy with to allowing me to pick the finishes and assist with landscape lighting placement; every part of this project was crafted as a partnership and the installation teams came in and masterfully put this gigantic puzzle together.

You don't know how small your backyard is until you see a drawing from paper come to life but the fact that we were able to take up EVERY SQUARE INCH of this space is a testament to what kind of work and craftsmanship Clients First is all about.

We've been over the moon about this project and as it started to come together, we become more and more excited at seeing our "plan on paper" come to life.

If you are looking for an Outdoor living space to be built in your small backyard, not only do I highly recommend Clients First as your FIRST choice; I recommend them to be your ONLY choice.

It's the details that make projects like this come to life and you will not find a company that will work harder at making your dreams come true in your budget than Zach and his team.

We couldn't be happier with new landscaping. We hired CFL to completely redesign our front beds and replace plants in our xeriscaped backyard. From our initial consultation to the final result, Zach and the team did an excellent job. The bid was thorough and captured our requests, adjustments and support with HOA approval was handled immediately, the design was lovely and the work was done on time and with a focus on quality. CFL wasn't the least expensive bid we received, but engaging with them was well worth it. The pictures don't adequately capture how beautiful the work is, and we can't wait to see what it looks like when the plants mature and grow in fully. Highly recommend!
