Homeowners beware… what started off as a dream plan turned into a nightmare quickly. Wesley is by far the worse business owner we have done business with. He promised us a $65K dream but never delivered after he took our money. He kept sharing his personal business (which I won’t share here) as to why he wasn’t able to deliver on his contractual obligation instead of completely our project. It got to a point we could predict when we knew he was going to call for additional money. Within minutes of us writing a check, it was cashed. Seemed like he was very desperate for money but never delivered. His lack of communication was most frustrating. He quoted us a 15 day project timeline and it’s been many months and he is still not completed. If you want someone that will lie to your face, take your money, select the cheapest flowers & plants call Wesley Graves Deigns. He will gladly take your money! Wesley Graves Design is helping us make our landscape ideas and vision become a reality in our new space in Rockwall County. We shared ideas from our previous landscape oasis in the southern part of Central Texas, and wanted to incorporate the same concept here, but with what is native, drought tolerant, and sustainable in North Central Texas.

Wesley listened to our ideas about year-round color, movement, and layering of native and drought tolerant trees, shrubs, and ground cover. He shared his insight into the project plans and suggestions. He incorporated the hardscapes we wanted to see in our front and backyard including rain collection areas that are part of the landscape, walking paths, spa area, kitchen space, vegetable and fruit garden areas, pollinating plants and flowers for bees and butterflies, and driveway stepping space, and a lot less grass throughout the entire yard.

We appreciated that Wesley met us at a local nursery and at a tree farm in East Texas to show us examples of plants, shrubs, ornamental trees, and large tree specimens with the characteristics and shapes we wanted to see in our landscape.

We needed the large project broken into multiple phases, to accommodate immediate and future plans, and approvals needed from our community HOA. Wesley accommodated those needs. The project prices were fair. Timing and communication of project milestones sometimes got off schedule, but the project phases were completed and we’re very happy with the results!!! The outcome looks great!!

Due to the summer’s extreme heat, and some irrigation repairs needed as part of the landscape project, some of the trees and shrubs that were planted did not survive. The Wesley Graves Design warranty will be honored and those trees/shrubs that did not survive will be replaced in early Oct, when their chance of survival is significantly greater. We especially appreciated that Wesley took the time to understand what we wanted and even when a particular tree species was not available for the first phase of the project, which was our front yard, Wesley planted a Sago Palm as a placeholder until the ornamental evergreen tree can be planted, also targeted for planting in early or mid-Oct.

We will definitely seek the services of Wesley Graves Design for the additional landscape projects we want completed!!!

Wesley Graves is not your average business owner. He doesn’t care about how much he will make from a job. Wesley cares about how you feel and makes sure that he leaves his jobs with his customers happy and satisfied. This guy goes above and beyond for everything. We used Wesley last fall for several projects. He did landscaping and grass in our small back yard and a granite path refresh. I loved the plants we chose with his help and the stone borders he installed. He is very easy to work with and talk to. We are super happy with all the work he did for us.

Really good experience overall. Wes came out quickly, was helpful in answering questions, and very professional. The work was also scheduled and finished very fast. Will definitely use again for future projects.

Wes has done an excellent job over the years getting our landscaping up to par at our house and I couldn't be more pleased with how things turned out.
