Home Services reviews in Round Rock, Texas

Good prices, but be careful with their lousy customer service, I hope a lot people see this and male sure to tell them how horrible they are. I think because they are so stablished, they dont care because they will get business either way.

Always a great experience here. They get you in and out quickly, and the staff are great.

Bobby and Randy, Thank you for delivering the truck load of garden soil.

Randy and Bobby delivered soil to my home and did a great job.

They delivered several yards of dirt to me and were super easy to work with! Quick to reply, very kind, competitive prices, etc. Amazing people!

I never thought I would need a hard hat to drop a pickup load of brush, but they won't let you in without one. They also refused to loan me one. Kind of frustrating since I took time off work and traveled all the way there. They don't require a hard hat at the landfill or at Austin Wood Recycling (where I went next). 2 stars instead of 1 because now that I look again, their website does mention it. They should rethink the policy for residential customers or have some loaners on hand.

Close and decent price once you factor in the drive time to another brush site. If you live in Round Rock, go their brush dump site. Otherwise, this is probably your closest option.
A bit of a pain to get to - make sure you are heading north on frontage road before you turn right on the Green Lawn - there is no street sign for it so have GPS pulled up.
Instructions for folks who haven't dropped here before:
First, get a hard hat at Lowes/Home depot down the road.
Whittlesey requires you to wear one.
Enter at the first entrance on the right(after the public golfing sign) and go straight ahead until you see a container with a window. Pay and tell them you haven't been there before for more instructions.
The road is rutted and bumpy - GO SLOW.
Keep going until the you get to a stop sign. The bulldozer will honk at you to come forward and hopefully you see an opening somewhere that makes sense.
Don't bother backing up into the brush pile - just unload behind your trailer and keep an eye on the bulldozer as it may clear behind you.
Pull forward and leave the complex. -
The staff is very kind and helpful. I didn't know exactly what would be best for my project and their advice proved to be "spot on" I recommend Whittlesey's without hesitation.

We have been working with Whittlesey landscape supply for almost 15 years.
They have always provided us with great service. For our company, they have always had a good selection of stone and gravel for hardscape projects as well as excellent compost and topsoil‘s to help the plants keep growing -
Randy and Bobby were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely order our soil from here again.

Rand did a great job, very personable.I would recommend to friends

Our delivery man Randy was fantastic. Excellent communication and went above and beyond to make sure our job went smoothly. Highly recommend!

Randy and Bobby did a drop off of 10YD of Kiddie Kushion mulch. They were extremely polite and timely with the drop off. The mulch has been holding up well for the playground!

Place is absolutely horrible! I live at the apartments behind them and LITERALLY from 530am (sometimes earlier) to 6pm, 6 days a week I hear their construction equipment and mulch grinding machine. It’s ridiculously loud! They don’t stop at any point thruout the day! It’s absolutely awful and annoying. Thinking about calling the city on them.

Delivery driver Randy did an awesome job bringing us 5 yards of compost. He took the extra few minutes needed to get it in the right spot.
Thanks Randy! -
We have used whittlesey for all of our projects. Back and side patios walkways and gardens. The staff are friendly, deliveries on time and materials are high quality. We have been customers for over 30 years

Randy is the man. Good to know there’s still a few good old boys left in Austin.
He did a picture perfect drop of 10 cubic yards of DG in the driveway.
Great buying experience overall. -
I've been using Whittlesey's for years now and have always received exactly what I wanted at the place I asked for it to be delivered. All of their staff are extremely helpful and have tons of knowledge that benefits the customer. Their delivery drivers are exceptional, calling ahead of time to confirm the ordered and delivery address. Delivery driver Randy was especially helpful today in getting a large delivery of this beautiful dark mulch put in a tight parking space so it remained out of the way util we could disperse it. Thank you Randy. I would call Whittlesey's if you need anything related to landscaping product.

This was my first time ordering such a large delivery. Everything went very smoothly, starting with the sales team that took my initial call to my order being delivered by Randy. Randy was very kind and friendly. He had great communication and even went above and beyond to help me set up my tarp for the delivery. I highly recommend Whittlesey.

I've been using Whittlesey for a few years now with small projects here and there. They've always been helpful in the selection and great with handling the materials. This was my first large delivery and they were just as helpful and the 8 yard delivery was done perfectly. Thanks Mike for the sales and Randy for the delivery. Much appreciated!

Recently purchased several yards of mulch to be delivered to my home in Austin. The delivery driver (Randy) was excellent! He took the time to ensure the material was placed properly to minimize overspread and potential damage. This was especially challenging considering the tight space we had to work with. Huge thanks to Randy for going above and beyond! Highly recommend Whittlesey for any bulk landscaping material needs.
