We hired Scott and Carol to renovate our very outdated and under-utilized kitchen in our 1930s Monticello Park home, as well as convert a small half-bath into a full-sized bathroom with tub and shower combo. We are absolutely thrilled with the results of both, and have the Kressner’s and their team to thank for it. They were very accessible when we had questions and were so helpful/flexible when it came to keeping things within our budget. Can’t recommend enough! Included are before and after pictures of our project.

This is our second experience with Bolt Electric, and it was just as excellent as the first time Ronnie Bowles provided his electrical services. He was very friendly, and my wife felt comfortable with his explanation of the electrical work he was performing. Ronnie stayed in contact with me while I was at work to keep me updated on what was happening, Totally a professional. I recommend him highly to anyone who is looking for a reliable electrician with more than reasonable prices.

We had a great experience with Bolt Electric! Robert and Louie were awesome and helped us figure out all of the wiring connections in our new house. They also installed the wiring/box for a ceiling fan & light in our bedroom. They laid out multiple different options and helped us pick out the best option for us. We will definitely be using Bolt Electric any time we need an electrician!

Really liked working with Bolt. Darrell, the electrician, was running late due to a customer adding work at the last minute, so he called to let me know, giving me a new arrival time. He arrived exactly at the new time. Very nice and professional - solved the issues we were experiencing in our new house and made suggestions for a couple of issues not on our current list of fixes. Will definitely use them again.

As a RE Broker, I highly recommend Robert at Bolt Electric! We were very impressed with his knowledge with the work performed, as well as the professionalism of this company. The rates were reasonable and comparable with other Electricians. We took a Leap of Faith in hiring this company, in that we knew nothing about them, but needed an electrician because our former electrician/friend had passed away unexpectedly. Bolt Electric gained my respect with the work accomplished in a timely manner, arriving when promised and clear explanation of work needing to be done!

Bolt Electric has consistently done great work for our previous house and our new house. When we moved into our new house we needed electrical repairs done. The company was easy to schedule with, answered all of our questions and made all repairs in a timely fashion. I have recommended them to all my family and friends.

Starting with the office that setup the appointment, they were extremely helpful and friendly! Now for the service... Their electrician Robert showed up early to greet CPS and shut off the power before he began his work. He spent most of the day working on a large project for the house. Robert was very friendly, professional and he did an amazing job on replacing & consolidating all of my external breaker boxes into one main panel. Despite being the end of the day for him he stayed to help me out with some electrical questions regarding a smart-home device I purchased. He went above and beyond what was expected of him and the work he accomplished looks great as the city inspector gave it a look-over and the green light. The price was reasonable, the Company and the electrician was pros. I will definitely use them again in the future. In fact I already have them scheduled to provide an estimate for another job! I would recommend this company to friends and family.

We called Bolt Electric for services during the selling process of our home. Other companies that I reached out to didn't have availability for another week or so. Bolt Electric was able to get us on the schedule in just a few short days. Our electrician arrived on time, was very courteous and professional. He resolved the issues in our master bath in a timely manner. The pleasant, helpful customer service we received from the moment I called is not so common these days. Customer service is lost on some of today's residential companies, but not Bolt. We were extremely pleased with the experience and would absolutely recommend them!

Bolt Electric is a great company to go with for your electrical needs. My husband was deployed and I over used our electrical making something in the air fryer simultaneously with other things in the house (oops!) and fried one of the wires. Fortunately, I found Bolt and they sent Robert to my house to take care of it. The job was done so fast and he informed me of exactly what happened and how to avoid it in the future. He also let me know about an option of installing another outlet for just my air fryer since we purchased an older house that doesn't quite have the capacity to handle it. Great Company, very professional electricians. Robert was great! We will continue to use Bolt in the future.

Robert with Bolt electric was great! He came in the same day I called for service (!), fixed the issue quickly, then fairly charged me for the work he did. He was courteous and very professional. DO NOT go with competitors that try to price-gouge ignorant customers. Bolt electric is fair, reasonable, and fast. I will use them from now on.

For the record, the work Robert from Bolt electric did was going to cost over $800 (!!!) from a competitor (Mr. Sparky).

Had a great experience with Bolt Electric. Had some trouble with my breaker box during the winter storm. Looked for a reliable and highly rated electric company to diagnose and fix the problem. That's when I called Bolt Electric. Andrew came over this morning and did a great job. Explained what happened and did the repair work in less than 30 minutes. I very much appreciate the work and would recommend Bolt Electric to anyone who needs electric repair work.

We were impressed with the professionalism of Bolt Electric from start to finish. They returned calls promptly, called ahead to confirm the appointment for a bid, showed up on time for the appointment and for the job, were knowledgeable about the work we needed, made great suggestions, were fair on their pricing, and were flexible in performing our work. We are pleased with the work done. This is a good company with good people.

I just want to tell everyone about Bolt Electric because they could not have done a better job! The price was VERY reasonable compared to other electric companies. I had three outlets replaced, which was an hourly base rate, it took less than an hour. A HUGE thanks to Louie for his outstanding knowledge in the work performed. He explained the whole process and answered every question. Thanks again to everyone at Bolt!

September 2023 Update: More fantastic work from Robert and Bolt Electric. This time Robert expertly installed a 240V/50 amp outlet in our garage for our electric vehicle. Very clean and neat install - 5 stars again!

I also received courtesy calls with appointment reminders prior to their service. Robert, their electrician, was professional, respectful, friendly and a pleasure to interact with. This was our first time using Bolt Electric and they will be our go to electrical company from here on out. I received another quote from another company and bolt was far more pleasant, and better priced as well. I called them last week with a list of things to do on our newly purchased house, and the woman I talked to on the phone both times (Victoria) has been so pleasant and helpful each time I've talked with her. Our electrician, Robert, was very knowledgeable and walked us through the list we had, discussed all of our options and helped us narrow down what we wanted to get accomplished in a day's work. He was good conversation, great with our dogs, and we are very pleased with his work.

I needed four outdoor outlets installed around the exterior of the house so I contacted Bolt Electric based on their great Google reviews. They did not disappoint! They showed up exactly when they said they would and once the project was discussed they did not waste anytime in getting all the outlets installed. A few days later one of the outlets keep tripping a breaker so I called and they literally came back out a few hours later and corrected the problem. Robert and Louie were personable and professional. You won't go wrong in hiring Bolt Electric for your next electrical project.

I would DEFINITELY recommend Bolt Electric for electrical needs. My tech Robert was very professional when he came to my home. I advised him on what the previous home owner did to the front light, porch light, and doorbell. He fixed the issue that the previous home owner did to the front light switch, he also made it safe to operate. I had more work done and still loved the service that Bolt Electric provided.

Darrel with Bolt Electric is a fantastic electrician! He did superb work and did it in great time -- with little mess to clean up after! We had a ceiling fan put in our kitchen and are SO HAPPY with not only the fan, but with the quality service we got from Bolt Electric. We have requested to have them return and put in recessed lighting in our kitchen now thanks to the great work they did with the fan. By the way, we were already sold on this company when we called to schedule an appointment and the woman who answered the phone was extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and efficient. Then to top it off, the cost to do work in our kitchen was a little more than half of what we were expecting to pay and THAT in itself was a blessing!
