Hill Country Electric Supply is THE downtown electrical supply house. They are strategically located in the downtown area and this helps contractors and electricians that need materials and don't have the time to go crosstown traffic to the northside for supplies. These guys are fair priced and stocked to help.

First of all I want to express my condolences to the family of Rudy senior AKA Chief who was an amazing manager and will be greatly missed, our prayers are with your family. I have been going to this supply shop for many years and I can truly say I have come to know almost everyone on staff by name, Chief , Rudy Jr, Jesse, Walter, Roger, Danny. Stevo, just to name a few. I can say without a doubt that these employees really care about making sure you get everything you need for your project and they go above and beyond to make sure your taken care of so you can get the job done. The atmosphere in that place is so welcoming and friendly that sometimes you just want to stick around and chat with the team. If your looking to order some electrical supplied or need some direction on what works best for your project this team is the one for the job. I would definitely recommend HCES on Chestnut for your electrical supply needs. If I could rate them a 10 star I surly would. Great Job all the way !!!!

I’m very pleased with the way these projects went. I wanted to tap into a bedroom plug and run a line outside to a new weatherproof box for plugging in my grill and some low voltage landscape light. I also needed to have some tape lighting under our kitchen cabinets replaced with a brighter color. Lastly I needed some under-cabinet light fixtures over a countertop in my garage. First Ron and Manuel come out and gave me a quote for all I requested. I was able to approve the quote later on an email link. I liked that the same technicians returned to do the work since they were already so familiar with the job. The results were exactly what I expected. I highly recommend Allgood. They deliver!

They did a professional job, everything was nice and neat. Came on time gave me the estimate and then on approval went for the parts. My only issue is the cord that I specifically wanted to use they did not get that type of socket, which means I had to go out and buy a $200 replacement cord. They were shown the cord previously so this should not have been an issue. I would use Allgood again as they were efficient came quickly and did a wonderful clean install. They know their business.

This company has outstanding customer service. While we did not have the outcome we were looking for in regard to a diagnosis of our system; we cannot say enough about how top notch Allgood electric is with customer service. This company responded to our call same day and when things did not go as planned, they fixed the problem with no hesitation and no questions asked. Thank you Allgood Electric. It's not often we are able to do business with companies like you anymore.

Brian was our technician. Extensive electrical work done in an older home. He gave us same day estimate, made an appointment for the job, and arrived on time. They are reasonably priced and he did a great job. All work completed fast with attention to detail. He asked questions to assure work was done to customer preferences. I had to leave for work and they locked up. Easy payment system. Highly recommend!!

I needed an electrician for an issue in one of my bedrooms in the house that my skill level could not figure out. I had one light switch and power outlet that was not working. I could not figure out where the issue was located.

I decided to give Allgood Electric a try with the issue. It was very easy and user friendly to schedule an appointment from Allgood Electric homepage. They even give you a few choices with quotes to select from for your appoint. The scheduling wizard was great because not only do you get an estimate, but it also allows you to pick the date and time slot you are looking for ALL online. This feature alone for Allgood Electric is top notch.

David was the assigned technician and came first thing in the morning at the beginning of my estimated time slot. I received two calls before David showed up. I received one in the morning from an office clerk and one from David to let me know he was 30 minutes from the house. Those calls ahead really help to get you ready for their visit.

David was very professional and friendly. He was quickly able to diagnose the issue. Once he diagnosed the issue he was able to get my electrical issue fixed on both my outlet and light switch. No one wishes for electrical issues in their home, but if I have another problem I am happily going to give Allgood Electric another call.

We had Allgood troubleshoot an inoperative ceiling light circuit. Troy Allgood took our call after normal business hours and set up our appointment for the next day. Brian and Stephen quickly completed the work in a professional and friendly manner at a fair price. This is the first time we've used Allgood but won't be the last. Perfect service!

Everything about this company was great. They answered their phone, was polite, informative and professional. Provided a timely estimate. Detailed the work involved. Came out to complete the work on time. Did a great job. Stayed very professional throughout and was very courteous! A job well done!! Troy, Brian, and Manuel are top notch!! For the past several months, we have been using AllGood Electric for our family’s needs. We are in an older home that has been neglected over the years and was in need of a lot of work. Brian was super helpful, punctual, and informative. He told us what work was a necessity and what work wasn’t as pressing. When the town came by to inspect the work done, they told me that they did an amazing job and they don’t usually see such care.

I highly recommend them.

Brian was able to squeeze us into his schedule the same day we called in order to repair/ replace the incessantly beeping smoke alarms we dealt with over the weekend (our ears Thank you)!!! He was good about letting us know that the replaced alarms were both smoke & Carbon Monoxide detectors with a 10-year battery (so we don’t have to annually change the batteries).

He also gave us an estimate to install 2 ceiling fan/light kits and a whole home surge protection system in 2 weeks (& thankfully our outside electric box has several open spots so the cost was reasonable)!!

Definitely recommend & we are obviously using Allgood Electric service again!

My experience wasn't good at all. The electricians came over to give me an estimate to run a new line from the panel to the back of the house. I needed 230v 10a line. He opened the panel and off the bat said I didn't have the room and would have to update the panel. Also was told it was old and it would cost around $3,000 to update it. My house is new construction and less than 3 years old. I'm guessing they get commission on all the up sales they turn in. I wouldn't trust them for any work at all. Ask other companies for quotes before you settle for this company.

Update: I am not willing to talk to you. First impressions are everything.

They trouble shooted and found the reason that I lost power in half of my outlets. It was due to a faulty wiring job done by another electrical company that WAY over charged me and left an outlet in the bathroom dangerous enough for me to be electrocuted and a potential fire to happen. They saved a potential disaster from happening. 🙏🙏
