I was very impressed with the work done, the crew that showed up were very professional and made quick work of a tall tree that was near the corner of my house. Their prices are very affordable and will contact them in the future for more tree work . I very highly recommend this company.

Steel Roots Tree Services completed a stump grind for us for a large tree stump and did an amazing job. The crew was on time, and communicated clearly exactly what to expect while the job was being completed. After completion, any follow up questions were answered and the jobsite was left clean.

Brock takes the time to assess your situation and needs. He does a great job explaining everything. His work was wonderful, fast, and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Let’s spread the word and keep this guy in the tree business!

Mr Heckadon arrived to my house on time. Gave me a rough estimate and had it done in no time. The communication was spot on and never had me guessing what was next. Offered information on how and when to prune my tree next and gave me options to haul off or cut down to winter fire wood. He also did such a good job my neighbor hired him the next day. He even made sure to clean up right away. Great work and prices. 10/10 recommendation for you. Also we will be having him back for our pecan trees too. Thanks!!

I highly recommend this company. A large ash tree was dropping trunk limbs in my elderly mom’s backyard, presenting a risk to her and the house. Brock made it a 911 and treated my mom just like family, getting the job done the very next day. I’m really thankful and will definitely give Steel Roots a call when I need some work done at my house.

Brian is an absolute professional and a pleasure to work with. He came out when he said he would to give me a quote. I enjoyed the education on horticulture. He really broke down the why and how to maintain a healthy tree.

I’ve used a few tree services before finding Steel Roots. I was never really satisfied with the work I received with the other companies prior too and the cost for the jobs done. It just wasn’t “professional” and so I found Steel Roots. Calling them was a breeze and the next day Brock was out with an estimate. Janet was a pleasure to work with and everything happened as stated on time and completed all the way through. I never had to worry about price changes or the quoted work not getting done. I think the best part was the fact that when the job was done with Steel Roots- it was a vision come to life. I wanted clean, manicured and healthy trees. The forest of my back yard had been left wild for 15 years. Steel Roots came in, cleaned it up and gave me a park like setting even looking at from a childs perspective to make sure there would be trees strong enough and safe for a young boy to climb and have fun on. They cleaned up everything, made sure my oaks were healthy, cleared out so much dead growth, opened up the canopy so my trees could grow stronger and taller. The wilds of my backyard had choked out so many trees that they were dying and not growing as they should. Now a year later- I’m still using them for other jobs- I have a massive grove of oak trees now flourishing from tiny saplings to full baby trees and there are so many of them- they will need to be transplanted. There is no one else I would call to do my tree work. They are professional, appropriately priced, hard working and they live up to what they tell their clients. They work with you within your budget willing to split up projects over months or in our case- years. They are diligent in cleaning up after themselves and they work with the client- making sure your vision is seen through while providing expert advice on what needs to happen to see the full potential of your vision. I have a forest in my backyard that went from wild to a beautiful park like setting. I couldn’t be happier. It’s everything I dreamed of. Now they are focusing on our side yard- another forest in a creek untouched for 15 years. Next year I’ll have them back out after a season of growth to do final touches all over my property. Steel Roots has become our go too tree service and we will use them yearly for tree maintenance. I am so blessed we found them!

Carefully listed to our tree plan, educated us on how to maintain and trim them without killing the integrity of our trees while keeping them looking full. Recently we also lost a huge pecan tree due to freeze and drought. We called Steel Roots since we had used the service before. Janet set an appointment for us and Brock came by to do an estimate for us. There are no surprises as everything is listed in the estmate. Brock is very knowledgeable and does a good thorough job at a fair and resonable price. The dead tree was cut down and hauled off and the area left very clean.We couldn't be more happy with the job and would definitely recommend Steel Roots.

This is our second time using Brock to care for our trees. My neighbor was so impressed she hired him too to cut down a tree that had died. He is very professional and kind. He sticks to his quotes and timelines. He cleans up everything afterwards. The office is also easy to work with. He and his assistants know what they are doing and I wasn’t even worried about being home this time as I knew he would get the job done right.

Janet and Brock were so easy to work with and competitively priced. We have worked with several tree companies, and no-one has ever come close to showing the knowledge and workmanship that Brock does. Brock was prompt, precise and provided education on how and what needed to be done to maintain the health and aesthetics of my tree. I have a huge oak tree that covers almost a 1/4 acre in my back yard. This tree resembles the "TREE of LIFE" and is my favorite part of my home. We had four 40-55 ft pines that had died and were needed to be removed. Brock and his crew are true professionals and take pride in what they do. They were able to take care of the trees without damaging anything on the property and the cleanup was just as impressive! My relationship with Steel Roots began in 2023 with three monstrous trees who were beyond my ability or tolerance to deal with. Brock reviewed each tree and developed a plan based on their individual needs and structural integrity. When the initial job was completed he reviewed the work performed and laid out the strategy for moving forward. This year was a repeat of the previous year's service. We reviewed the trees to plan the job, confirmed my preferences, and scheduled our actual service day. Brock was punctual, as always, professional, and cleared the site thoroughly. When my trees were originally serviced I was terrified they would become mutilated weeds...I have living art greeting me when I return home from work. In the back yard an accommodating giant lures me to enjoy my backyard. Brocks amazing work and professionalism is dwarfed only by the charisma of Janet. Our experience with Brock and Janet exceeded our expectations. This is a 1st class family run business and Brocks knowledge of trees is amazing. They trimmed 4 tree's and removed two more we will be using Steel roots for years to come. I suggest getting a quote it's well worth it...

It's a bit overwhelming trying to decide which company to use when looking for a tree removal service, but a friendly vibe and upfront information goes a long way!

I used our neighborhood Facebook page and a Facebook mom group when asking for recommendations to remove a large tree that was infringing on our house (roof, driveway..). I reached out to three different companies to come by to give me a quote. While all three quotes were very similarly priced, Steel Roots stood out with their absolute deep knowledge of trees/tree safety/tree care, their genuine care and friendliness, and their quick scheduling! There was really no decision in the end when we chose Steel Roots, and Brock and Janet were excellent to work and communicate with. Brock is an incredibly hard worker and holds himself up to high standards, leaving our yard in nothing short of perfect condition after removing our large tree and trimming multiple trees in our backyard.

Brock was the individual that was contracted to trim trees that had been overgrown on the rental property that I live in. He was very friendly and professional. The company was on time for the appointment. The work was done quickly and thoroughly. I would recommend this company's services to anyone.
