We needed multiple trees trimmed and we couldn't have gone with a better service. From the estimate to the finished product Brock was a true professional and is very knowledgeable. Cleaned up the whole area like he wasn't even there and the trees look amazing!

We have used them 2 times so far to help with trees with fallen limbs (one on our fence and one on our house ) . They also took down a tree to the stump for us. Both times were on time , reasonably priced , and gave expert advice! I leaned so much about all my trees from Brock!

Brock was friendly and professional. Got me a quote on tree removal and a trim quickly and was out to do the work within a week. He have good tips to make the area safe before service, made sure my local garbage man could still do his rounds during service in the front yard, taught me some valuable care tips for my oak trees going forward, and left the work site clean and tidy.

They were knowledgeable of which trees & branches were and weren't viable, explained exactly what needed to be done, and carried out the job with skill. The trees look fantastic, we don't fear dead branches falling on our heads, and he went above and beyond with the cleanup. I hired Steel Roots Tree Services to cut and clean up a GIANT hackberry tree that split in half and fell in my yard, to cut back a 500-foot long line of brush that was overtaking my driveway, and trim up some other large trees that were overhanging fence lines and had been dropping branches. Brock and his team completed this work in less than a week, and communicated with me every step of the way. They also accommodated my request to leave the firewood-sized pieces behind instead of paying to haul them off. Brock is knowledgeable about how to keep trees in good health and not take off too much of the tree at once. Excellent experience all around, I'll definitely use them again in the future!

I can't recommend these guys enough! I see why they were so highly recommended in neighborhood forums in the Schertz/Cibolo area. They were extremely professional and friendly from initial call to cleaning up after the job was done. Brock came out for quote walkthrough and was very knowledgeable and made the decision to pick Steel Root an easy one. Their prices were fair and their work and timeliness was great. I love that they took the time to address my concerns and kept me in the loop throughout the process, always prioritizing the health of the trees like I asked. Brock and his team have come out to take care of trees now at two separate properties for us. Both times he has come out and given us a fair and honest and thorough quote that addressed what we needed. Brock is very knowledgeable not only about how to prune trees in a healthy way but also about what might need to be done in order to adhere to city requirements and things like that. He is quick to get the work done and he and his team clean up all brush and branches. He did our trees when we were out of town and besides the fact that the branches were trimmed beautifully it was like he was never there! All of this for a very affordable price. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Cannot recommend Brock and his team enough. I spent a few weeks looking for the right company to give a professional, honest assessment of two large pecan trees at one of my rental property backyards. Safety was my top concern due to tenants and their pets, especially with several branches hanging over the property at significant height and already causing damage to a detached shed.

From the start, Brock was knowledgeable, straightforward, and transparent in his recommendations — clearly explaining what should be kept versus removed. There were also nearby power line drops, which he and his team handled confidently and safely, something that really stood out to me.

Tyler with the Texas Tree Authority came out to assess my red oaks that I felt were dying due to a soil issue. Tyler took the time to explain why the trees looked the way they did due to stress from the weather the past few years. I wanted a certified arborist to do a health assessment instead of relying on local nursery advice. Tyler checked the trees to see if we had life in the limbs and let me know what to expect in the following seasons. The team exceeded my expectations, from the receptionists to the arborists. I kindly asked how I needed to compensate them for their time with the assessment, and Tyler informed me that the assessments are free and only asked for a Google review if I was inclined. This to me shows a company that is dedicated to their service to our communities. Thank you, Texas Tree Authority, for easing my mind and I will definitely be passing the word to my fellow friends and neighbors.
