I'm not usually one to pay to have my carpet cleaned because of the hassle and cost, but it needed to be done and using Lone Star was a great experience! Our tech, Paul Walker, totally accommodated to my schedule and came earlier than originally planned so I could get to work. He did the job quickly and thoroughly (not only got all the spots out and left it clean, but he even raked it when he was done!!). Not to mention they are extremely affordable for the quality work they do. I would definitely use them again.

Amazing work!!! We had Chris and let me tell you that he was the most professional and friendly individual! You can tell he has a passion for making customers happy. He took his time and made sure that I was happy with each room. I was amazed at how dirty my carpets were. I should have done a before and after. I have two huge dogs and they shed a lot. I didn't realize the amount of hair that was built up in the carpets. It was almost gut wrenching to see. Though my carpets didn't look terrible he came in and showed me what they needed and should look like! I would recommend this company if you are looking for a perfectionist to come in and take care of your floors and I would recommend Chris every time. I am so happy with the service and outcome! I just might sleep on my floor tonight ;)

My first carpet cleaning in my home after 5-6 years and first time using Lone Star. John was my technician and did an incredible job. The experience from beginning to end was great. He called me in the morning to give me a time frame of when he would make my appointment within the hour, he called me when he was on the way, and arrived on time. We went over my needs for the carpet cleaning and he gave honest recommendations on the work to be done. He completed the work quickly and I am very happy with the turn out! It looks and feels great. And I feel so much better about it too! Thank you!

I got my carpet cleaned on 1/4/24. First, scheduling happened really quickly and the cleaning of two rooms’ carpets was done in 20 minutes. The team let me know that it would take roughly 8 hours for the carpets to dry, it took closer to 24 hrs. One room got a pet treatment and while the cleaning made a dent, I still noticed a pet urine smell. I reached out to the company through there website within a week, no one ever got back to me. I also noticed that while the carpets felt cleaner/fluffier/softer once dry, they got dirtier much faster and almost stiff. Prior to getting the carpet cleaned (we’ve had the carpet for 2 years, never gotten them professionally cleaned but vacuumed regularly), we could easily get the carpet fluffy, soft, and visibly clean with a thorough vacuum. Since getting cleaned, the carpet is much less soft and there are some flattened areas that still won’t fluff back. It is also more difficult to get it as clean as we could get it prior to the professional cleaning. Nothing has changed in the last 2 month regarding traffic or messes, the only real difference is the cleaning they got on Jan 4th. Maybe this is a typical experience with general carpet cleaning but I don’t think I will use this company again in the future, especially since I reached out to them shortly after the clean with concerns and never got a response.

Update: The company reached out to me via text after I posted this review. They offered to correct the issue and stated they would give me a refund if I deleted my review. I explained why I used the company’s website vs calling. I am typically unable to make phone calls during the day to my work. Additionally, I had had such a positive experience getting a prompt response when I reached out for a quote that I expected the same when I reached out with a concern. Unfortunately, I do not feel comfortable using this company to correct any mistakes and feel wary of getting my carpet cleaned in general now. I added a star (previous review was 2 stars) since they did reach out to me after seeing my review and offered to correct the issue. I did not take the offer to remove my review to maintain the integrity of the reviewing section and my own review history.

This review is a few weeks late as I was moving. I used this company for carpet cleaning and carpet patching. They did a great job with scheduling and with patching, but my issue is with the carpet cleaning and customer service (or lack thereof). Once completed, the carpet basically looked the same as it did before but I believe in paying for work performed. Once he was done, he gave me the total and I paid, but I wish I would have inquired about the price before he left. When requesting a quote, I requested to only have the living room, halls, and master bedroom cleaned; 2 rooms were minimally used and the other room had brand new carpet and was unused. After looking at the carpet more, I decided to email them to ask for an itemized invoice. I received a very basic email back with a basic price breakdown, and that's when I realized he cleaned every room in the house, which again, is not what I asked for. This is partially my fault for not verifying when he arrived so I can accept accountability for that. I was busy moving and clearing my house out so I trusted that he was doing what I asked. I then emailed them back letting them know that I only asked for specific areas to be cleaned, and recommended that in the future they should verify what needs to be done before starting. I received no response back and no apology. I felt like this was very unprofessional and not a way to treat customers, on top of the carpet looking the same, and as a result, I can't recommend them. It's unfortunate too because I had a friend who needed their carpet cleaned for a move and they asked who I used and I was unable to recommend them. It felt like they got their money and that's all they cared about. I would have rated them higher if they had simply acknowledged their mistake and apologized.

We had three areas of carpeting stretched back into place by Sylvester today. He did a excellent job. We're planning to use their cleaning services.

They are NOT PROFESSIONAL at all when you complain. The manager (or possibly the owner) threatened us multiple times that he would contact our landlord/ housing management about some made up stuff to get try and get us into trouble as retaliation for putting a negative review.

As a LOCAL GUIDE, please be aware that there are numerous reviewers that seemed to have received services from this company that only have ONE REVIEW with an often FIVE STAR RATING. I just wanted to bring that to your attention! Here is my honest experience.
A while back, I had my carpets cleaned by Lone Star Carpet Clean. The entire second story portion of the house and stairway was treated. The agreed price was reasonable and they were flexible in changing the appointment time. All was swell, until the technician showed up.
In general, I felt the technician "D. A. " sent by "P. W.," took an lackluster approach at cleaning the rental's carpets, by finishing the entire 700sq feet and stairway in less than 15 minutes. In that time, "D. A." showed up without the quoted price in hand, left water all over the bottom floor tile, and there were multiple stains left in the carpet, of which I removed later with costly cleaning supplies. The carpets seemed a little brighter, but the stains remained untouched. The chemical sprayed was very aromatic and stayed that way for about 16 hours after the initial spray.
For a company with a 'star rating' as high as some of the best companies in San Antonio, Texas, I was very disappointed and felt like the work was unacceptable. I have had carpets treated and cleaned before on multiple occasions by others, so when "D. A." finished a 45 minute (plus) job in about 15 minutes, I was not surprised to see multiple minor problem areas that could have been easily cleaned with more attention to detail. I refuse to get anymore services done by this company and do not want to hear from them at all (please stop calling and texting me - as they have done repeatedly). I hope they clean up their practices and learn to strive for excellence. I added a few pictures of my carpets after being treated to show how the stains were left, as well as a copy of my receipt.

As of 28th of May, 2018, at about 10:50am I recieved a multitude of text messages from P.W. that was not called for and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Mr. P.W. is unbelievably rude and I really hope a large grouple of people see this review. AGAIN: PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME ANY FURTHER MR. P.W. OR ANYONE FROM LONE STAR CARPET CLEAN. HARASSMENT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AND IS UNLAWFUL!

I was very impressed with the carpets after they were finished. I was more impressed with the customer service from the owner and the tech (Albert). Albert was very professional and honest. He was straight forward and very informative and not salesman. He also seemed very happy to be working for his company. You don't get customer service like this anymore.

I have a great experience with Lone Star Carpet Care. My technician was Chris; he was really professional and informative. He recommended the best treatment for our carpet. Overall he did an AMAZING job on our carpet. I highly recommend Lone Star Lone Star Carpet Care and Chris. I’ll be definitely using them in the future.

We hired Lone Star to have a carpet in one of our bedrooms re-stretched and they did a great job! Great communication, easy to work with, on time, quick, efficient, & affordable. We could tell they take pride in their work. I would highly recommend them to anyone and will hire them again for future jobs.

Very unprofessional & extremely rude.

We had our roof replaced last month and I am really glad we chose this company. From the first phone call to the final cleanup, everything was handled professionally. They explained the process clearly and gave us a fair estimate with no surprises later on. The crew showed up on time each day and worked hard until the job was done. Our new roof looks great and we feel confident it was done right. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs roofing work.

Will with Stay Fresh Steam cleaning did an excellent job! He helped pick the right option for us and didn’t pressure to just go with the most expensive option, but thoroughly explained everything so we could make the right choice. He also cleared some items out of the way that I couldn’t, which was helpful. The carpets look great and smell even better. Thanks for the professional and friendly service Will!

Pricing is a joke. They quote you 3 rooms for $89 but if your room is bigger than 10x12 they consider it 2 rooms. I have a 1500sqft home so there are no oversized rooms in this house. They use the $89 to get in the door and then try to charge upwards of $400. Salt on the wound they charge a 3% fee if you want to use a card instead of cash. The actual service itself looks good. The cleaning job was solid and the rooms smell good. For $175 they better lol

Garcia was my service guy. When he went to and from the truck to hook up the equipment, he actually joggged. He did a fantastic job on a dirty bedroom carpet and polished up a dirty kitchen floor, all in under two hours. Price was reasonable and I got a good value. Picture is my kitchen at the half-way point. I'll be using Stay Fresh again. Hope they keep Garcia on board.

Kai did a great job steaming our furniture- quite the feat given the amount of spills and coloring accidents which occur in our fast. The service was prompt and timely!

I hired Stay Fresh Cleaning to clean my carpets , I was very satisfied with the job Jeremy did in Cleaning my carpets. Jeremy customer service and communication skills were outstanding, he deserves a good raise. Keep up the good work .

Amazing experience. Bryan was awesome. Super detailed and explained everything perfectly. Even worked with us on the price to get us in the range we were looking for. Our carpets look brand new again and no more cat odors. Highly recommend for anyone needing any sort of floor cleaning done. Best around!

Where do I start? We just moved to San Antonio from Oregon and we needed our carpet cleaned ASAP!!!
My wife called SFSC and spoke with Sarah to get pricing and information about their company. She said that right away she new that she called the right TEAM!
We were days away from paying thousands $$$ to replace the carpet. Fred called me and said that if we were not satisfied with the cleaning we wouldn’t have to pay.
As you can see from the before photos the carpet we definitely are VERY SATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME, but more so with FRED’S PROFESSIONALISM and VERY FRIENDLY ATTITUDE!!
Fred explained in detail the entire process which reassured us that we chose the RIGHT TEAM!!!!
