I have purchased trees and plants for my landscaping from Moon Valley Nurseries on two occasion. The trees were $1500 apiece, they were large and healthy. It really added to the ambience of my landscaping. I purchased three Mexican Sycamore‘s, two bald Cypress, and one weeping willow. All six trees were planted expertly by the installation crew. The gentlemen involved did an awesome job of removing the extra spoils. They allowed me to rotate the trees so that I could have them in the direction that I wanted them. Communication with installation was spot on.

Originally I wanted to give a five star review until a recent incident. One of the bald Cypress trees that I had was very stunted. It had been told on several occasions that if I had any issues with my trees to call up and set up an appointment to have somebody come out and look at it. I just happened to mention The issue with one of the trees on one of my trips out there to locate additional plants, and the salesman there informed me that a deep soil injection might help the tree so I had all six. Five of the trees were doing well on their own, but I thought why not give them the best. After the injection, the other five trees continued to do very well, but the one Bald Cyprus continued to flounder. I contaced The nursery and explain the situation. The person involved allowed me to explain the situation in great detail and assured me that somebody would reaching back out to me in the next few days. Several weeks went by and I heard nothing so I called again. I had a second conversation with the same gentleman and was again told that somebody would be reaching out to me. Several more weeks went by and again nothing happened so I texted the person that I had talked with on both occasions and informed them how unsatisfied I was. At this point I left review explaining my dissatisfaction with how things have been handled Up into this point. I was very happy to hear from a gentleman by the name of Nick Debs. Nick is an arborist with Moon Valley. He called me up and spoke to me a great length about my trees and set up an appointment to come out and see them. Within days, Nick was at my house. Inspected my trees and provided me with a very detailed year-round maintenance program for each species of tree. He also provided me with some products for free and assured me that in early March he would be able to look at the trees and discuss anything else that might need to be done. He also assured me that if anything did happen to the Bald Cypress that they will stand behind their product. Nick is a true asset to this company. He provided the type of customer service that in this day is Typically unheard of, But is the way all companies should respond to a situation. My initial two experiences and my last experience warrent a five star rating. I can’t hold an entire outfit responsible for one dropped ball, or in this case two dropped balls. I highly recommend using this establishment and if you have any issues, ask specifically for Nick Debs.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! @moonvalleynurseriesaustin. They will promise you the most amazing products and service and somehow deliver below the most basic level of standard. Garden design - no, service - no, communication- no, bare minimum response time - absolutely not! We have continuously attempted to communicate with them over a 6 week period of time and the only time we have been able to receive a response is when we drive the 22 miles to the nursery in the hopes of meeting with someone who could/would assist us. On our last visit we met with the GM to discuss dead or dying plants and plants incorrectly placed in the soil. Subsequent to our visit, we were ghosted by him as well. Apparently 5k in plants and services will only get you lip service. We have photos, text, emails and voicemails. Save yourself the time, effort and stress of dealing with these people.

I recently worked with Steven Schwope to select trees for my landscaping project, and his experience was exceptional. Steven is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain which species would thrive in our specific soil and climate. He didn’t just sell me trees; he provided a masterclass in arboriculture. If you want high-quality trees and expert advice that you can trust, Steven is the person to see. I feel confident in the long-term health of my new trees.

Sean Washburn and his crew did an excellent job installing my plants and trees. Professional, patient, gave us advice on how to keep the plants healthy and also gave us recommendations on how to distribute the ones we bought.

Roberto at 1604 locations helped me planned my back yard design. He is very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.
I purchased 3 large Palo Verde trees that will flower all summer long for years to come. The planting process was smooth and easy for me. I will purchase from Roberto again.

I had no plan for what I needed to accomplish when I walked in to Moon Valley Nurseries! I got there early and was just wandering around and Steven immediately saw me and began helping me even though they were not technically open yet!

He was so thorough in giving me every option or solution possible for what I needed to accomplish. It is not often you work with someone that shows the passion,attention to detail, and level of customer service that he showed. I arrived at Moon Nurseries with the intent to purchase a Monterrey Oak tree. Mr. Robert immediately stepped up and offered his assistance with a great smile and professionalism. We looked at the various sizes and easily picked the one I liked. Robert was a delight to “shop” with and I can promise I will be back to Moon Nurseries again. Thank you, Robert, for your knowledge and sharing your stories and set-up for your ducks.

This place is different from most nurseries. While most places just let you come in and wander, Moon Valley had people available to help us with our tree choice and was able to answer our questions (it was a nice change of pace to not have to hunt someone down). The prices are higher than you would see in a typical nursery but I feel like the extra customer assistance both before and after your purchase is why you see that increase.

I was contemplating a tree but didn’t know what would fit my yard and needs. Robert did a great job listening to my concerns and wants and helped me pick out two beautiful fruit trees - one I had never heard of before - pineapple guava. I’m so excited for them to be planted.

UPDATE- Tony Flores and his crew came and planted my trees today - they were meticulous as to the placement and soil preparation. Tony made sure they picked up and removed any debris from the packing and they fixed my drip lines around the trees.

I am beyond impressed with the quality and care that Roberto de Wit puts into his nursery. Every plant I received was healthy, well-rooted, and beautifully packaged — you can immediately tell they were grown with expertise and genuine passion. Roberto goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are happy, providing detailed advice and quick, friendly communication every step of the way.

The plants have already settled in beautifully, thriving in my garden thanks to the strong start they got from his nursery. It’s rare to find a seller who combines knowledge, honesty, and outstanding customer service so effortlessly.

If you’re looking for top-quality plants and a seller who truly stands behind his work, I can’t recommend Roberto de Wit enough. I’ll definitely be returning for future orders — five stars all the way!

This place is great if you’re looking to update your landscape. Tons of trees to choose from along with other accessories (statues, pots, etc.). They also provide an unmatched warranty/maintenance service as well to put your fears and anxiety at rest when it comes to owning a tree. They stay true to their word and I know this because they replaced our tree hassle free.

When you visit, ask for Robert and his Aussie. Very professional and friendly which makes visiting a pleasure. Looking to come back next month for their agave plants.

He was incredibly informative and patient, taking the time to answer all my questions and provide valuable insights about the various plants. Frank and his dig team arrived on time and carefully worked around existing irrigation lines to excavate the holes. I appreciated his professionalism throughout the digging process.

Tony Flores and his team worked diligently, ensuring the plants were installed with care (i.e. added tree stake ties in various areas to make sure the trees grew upright, etc.). Tony also fielded all the questions I had regarding the planting process, watering, product application, etc. and exhibited a vast knowledge of both plants and planting.

Overall I am very happy with the experience and will recommend Moon Valley for anyone seeking a professional installation with great quality products, plants, shrubs, and trees.

Day one Frankie Torres and crew showed up to do the pre-drill for the wonderful trees and plants I purchased from Moon Nursery. They were so professional and did an amazing job. Frankie was very helpful in giving me tips on how to help keep my plants heathy and thriving. I could not be more pleased. Day two Tony Flores and his crew showed up to get everything planted. They literally transformed my yard of rocks into a beautiful backyard. They had to dispose of so many rocks. They were fast and efficient. No mess at all was left behind and Tony was full of wonderful ideas on adding more which I am very much looking forward to. Great work and amazing people!!!

First time at this nursery and we were blown away! There’s a huge selection and Tree Man Steve gave us a tour of it all and was extremely knowledgeable. We admired his passion and he gave great recommendations for what we were looking for! Can’t wait to plant what we picked out together :) We will be back soon!!

This Is truly an awesome place to visit they have every tree imaginable and then some! They are very knowledgeable about all their plants how to care for them how to plant them how to fertilize them you not only are getting your plant. You are getting them to be your private consultant..
They took the time to research what type of tree to plant in the field with my alpacas because most trees are toxic to the alpacas.
Caitlyn , was our Sales consultant she was absolutely wonderful. I’m sure after today. She will take her phone off the hook because we have called her three times already about the trees to make sure we’re not doing anything wrong and she has been so patient and kind. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. They are the best.!!!!
