Bad business have them for biweekly service. But i was getting service once every 3 to four weeks .!!!!!!. they broke my electric pole in my driveway with their service trailer while backing up. They said they're paying for it or replacing it but nothing happened . Its been over 9 month and nothing happened .... stay away avoid this company ... My lawn is a mess...

Texas Allied did a fabulous job on our backyard. Removed old wood porch deck and installed a large flagstone area. Installed new retaining wall and grass. Existing area was problematic due to minimal slope and drainage. TAL installed drains within flagstone and all water flows to drains with zero ponding. Highly recommend and will use them again for future projects.

AVOID TX ALLIED LANDSCAPE

We are so unhappy with the product we received. We spent thousands of dollars with this company and this is what we got: extremely high prices and less than mediocre work. Our plan for sprinklers had to be re-done three times. We wanted a low-maintenance yard solution but we still had to use a hose. We were given the impression we we going to have a rock wall line our driveway and we got rocks gathered from around the property, stacked at about two inches high instead. It’s far from a wall. We asked for dark rocks placed around our house, but we also saw the leftover rocks dumped as trash on our property. We asked for a beautiful sodded area of grass in our back yard, but it was laid without leveling the soil so now the beautiful, carpet-looking grass is all bumpy and uneven. Their idea of topsoil is sprinkling one bag of topsoil over one acre of land. Stay away from this company.

Absolutely gorgeous landscaping. We couldn’t be happier with the entire process and the final outcome. Everything was well planned and they really went above and beyond. The crew was exceptional too and very thoughtful in everything they did. Highly recommend and we’ll be using this company for our next project! We had some rain fall drainage that was addressed early on and the final path and landscaping for that turned out great as well.

We used this service for a little less than a year. Our lawn went from green to gray and brown in about six months. When one of their staff to our house address our complaints about the quality of their services, he explained that his staff had neglected our yard and it would cost about $2,500 to start to repair the damage. He then gave us a quote to replace our landscaping lights for $8,000. Not at all acceptable. We had another landscaping company address the neglected lawn (cost $400) and do the lights (cost $2,900). I can not recommend a company with business practices like this. Look elsewhere.

Bottom Line: strong recommendation to AVOID.
Our business relationship started off well. We even went to the same alma mater. They developed a very professional (though expensive, $30K) landscape plan in a timely manner and provided additional good ideas. The crew was overall very good. We were impressed. The results however were very disappointing. None of the large seeded areas "took", so we have entire large areas of nothing but dirt and weeds. Worse though, is the customer service (and attitude) all the way to the top. Easily the worst customer experience I have ever had, once some issues popped up (as they inevitably will for a project of this size). Owner's attitude ranged from condescending (as if how dare I ask questions..."we know what we are doing") to outright caustic and aggressive email responses to reasonable issues raised. They seem very willing to sacrifice future work (I had plenty) and future referrals (I referred a co-worker who also spent thousands) for the sake of the cost of replacing some grass that the sprinklers did not cover and a $39 shrub, which had died. This is even with them installing and setting up the sprinkler system, and all being under "warranty". Completely baffling. I absolutely do NOT recommend them, based on customer service alone. The ones who referred me, now after the fact, plus the co-worker I referred had similar experiences. Once you pay them, they are extremely hard to work with and inflexible. I hope this feedback sinks in to them, as I wish them no ill will. It is a shame that it came to this entirely preventable conclusion. Also trying to spare others the same pain.

I've called Robert and Tyler several times to come readjust my sprinkler heads and to cap or reroute some lines so I can pour my concrete for my patio. I closed on my house 9/2021 and I have yet to hear back from them. I didn't choose this company, the builder did. THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!

They don’t answer the phone, voicemail is full, and they did poor quality work. Left lines/gaps in my new sod, so now I have to level the yard to fill in the gaps. They installed my irrigation system and used the wrong nozzles so my system waters a fence post, rain sensor doesn’t work, floods the side of my yard even after 3 minutes of watering, and when they installed the river rock, they just put it on fabric which was layer over grass instead of removing it first. I just want it fixed, properly.

What a horrible company. I know that landscaping companies can be fly by night operations, but usually you can sort through those to find a quality team that provide landscaping solutions. River Rock does a great job of making you think that they can do a quality job, but their owner and foreman are the worst communicators and Liars that I have ever come across. These guys signed a contract with my HOA and I incurred fines for not having my job completed or even started for that matter on time. BEWARE of this company ! Do not take a risk with this . They do not want to do work! Below is a timeline of my experience:

3/3/19- contact made to foreman to come do a walk through/bid.

3/4/19 shows up 1 hour late

3/13/19 I call to follow up on the bid process and was told the boss was out of town until Friday and he would get back with me then.

3/18/19 I call to follow up on the bid again. They say they will have their irrigation tech out today to finalize the irrigation portion of the bid.

3/19/19 I email the foreman where to send the bid.

3/20/19: bid is sent with a 3-6 week window to start.

4/4/19: I check in to see how the wait list is shaping up. The foreman says he will get with boss and get back with me.

4/10/19: I check in again to see where we are on the list. The foreman says the last week in April.

4/24/19: I get with the foreman to sign the paper work and contract with the HOA.

4/25/19: paperwork and contract is signed and returned.

5/1/19 check in on timing: “waiting on dryer weather”

5/9/19: “waiting on dryer weather

5/13/19: “we will start this Wednesday”

5/16/19 “too wet”

5/21/19 “forecast not looking good”

5/22/19 “boss said first week of June”

6/4/19: Are we starting today? “Boss said Thursday”

6/6/19 Are we starting today? “It’s wet again, we will start Monday” - wasn’t wet at my house BTW

6/10/19 “We cannot schedule you at this time. Sorry for any inconvenience”

The builder used River Rock to install the irrigation system at the house. I have called them 5 times already to have them do maintenance on the system and they have yet to call back. Why bother putting your sticker with phone number on the system if you don't' want to return phone calls.

River Rock Landscape was selected by my builder to do the landscape install at my new home. River Rock submitted a plan to the HOA that was approved and the installed nothing like it at my home. River Rock committed to being on site to install the irrigation system on a date and did not show. After numinous calls they committed to a new date and did not show. When they did show no one was home to see what work was done. The same cycle was repeated when the sod was to be installed. When the sod installers arrived at 7pm it was already dark. They did no prep work and installed the sod in the dark over uneven ground with the headlights of their truck and covered several sprinkler heads. I ordered 2 pallets of extra sod (900sq ft) and when it arrived, not on pallets but a flatbed trailer, it was installed and only covered 700 sq. ft. All complaints to the business were meet with promises of an onsite visit that never happen.

This company was used to do the irrigation in landscaping both of which were far below subpar. I could never ever ever recommend this company to anyone. This company is not only incompetent but to make matters worse they just don't care. This company used the wrong materials were informed numerous times that there was a leak in the irrigation system. This company came out five times and could not fix it. I pinpointed exactly we're the leak was coming from and still this company could not fix it. I should say they would not fix it It was a very simple fix in which I had to hire another company to fix this problem. I hope they don't do this to any more customers. So please if you have another option please use them. I did not have an option and this was the lowest bid that the builder received so they hired them. I wish there was an option to give them zero stars because that is what they deserve.

Horrible customer service! I did not choose this company, my home builder did. I had a request to perform a repair 9 months ago. Only reason I attempted to use this company was because they installed my sprinkler system ( at the order of home builder ) and rightfully, they should know the blueprint of my system. 1. There is never anyone that answers the company phone, 2. Mailbox is full, 3. When I did get a person (Tyler), I was given excuse after excuse as to why they could not get the job done or why they needed to push it off further in time. 4. after about 3-4 months of this, no more call backs nor would anyone answer my calls. I even attempted to call my home builder, who was of no help in this matter either. I would not recommend this company at all and I have since begun to look elsewhere for my needs.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Absolutely unacceptable experience just like some other reviews mention. This landscaping company damaged my 2025 vehicle while working in the area (where my car was parked) and instead of taking responsibility, they handled the situation in the worst way possible. When I called to report the damage, I was met with rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional behavior by “FERNANDO” and “BERNIE”. No apology, no accountability, and ZERO effort to investigate or resolve the issue. It was clear they had no interest in making things right or even treating the situation with basic respect.
Accidents happen, but the way a company responds speaks volumes. This company chose to be careless, disrespectful, and irresponsible. If this is how they treat people when something goes wrong, I strongly warn others to stay far away. Save yourself the headache and take your business somewhere that actually values its customers and takes responsibility for its actions.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS company. If you see them and have a car close to where they are working do yourself a favor and MOVE IT right away. They do not care and will mow next to your car not caring if a rock hits your vehicle and blow all the leaves, dirt and debris to your car. Management and people in charge are even worse and not helpful. Did not take care of what their guys did. Shame on them!
