Our first time here and it won't be our last! They have a wonderful selection of plants and it's clear that they take pride in their product. The staff was friendly but not intrusive, which is the perfect combination of service. We can't wait to plant our new beauties!

this is a big beautiful nursery that usually has lots of trees and plants. there's not much today. That's ok I still love it here.

Fantastic Garden Center! If you are looking for it, they have it! A great variety of plants, that are well organized, healthy, and fairly priced. If you need compost, mulch, fertilizer, they can help you. Not sure what you need? Ask one of their friendly staff, we had help from several as we walked the grounds. Fanick's also has a wide variety of yard decor, everything from Texas-themed clay pots, to dinosaurs!

For those in the SAWS Watersaver a program, they have a special display near the front with the Texas Superstar Plants. One-stop shop for all you water conservation needs.

They also offer a military discount of 10%.

UPDATE: 03/21/21 We had another great visit today. There were employees everywhere, friendly, willing to help and wearing masks. All guests we observed were complying with mask rules. Aside from the great plants, products, and staff, we got help from their four-legged employees too.

I love Fanicks. Have been going there for many years at least 25, they give the best customer service. The plants are the very best around, only place I buy my roses. Top quality plants.

The plants and products I get from here are very high quality, but what I appreciate most is that the staff have such a deep knowledge of the individual plants. Any time my plants are having an issue, I'm able to bring them pictures and they are able to help me trouble shoot. This is not just a business, it is a community of joyful gardeners!

Great place to go If you need a huge selection, great service, good prices and a comfortable atmosphere. The staff knows how to help you select what you want and need. In the process of redoing our yard, I’ve had the need for expert help. I was dealing with poor soil quality in some areas, too much shade in one area, too much sun in others. I had two gentlemen walk with me and select the proper plant for each area. It turned out beautiful. Can’t get this kind of service at the big box stores.

First time visit to nursery. Good selection of plants, trees, and shrubs for landscaping. Knowledgeable staff and helpful with loading. Worth the trip. Picked up 3 beautiful rose bushes.

Huge & great variety of plants!! Everyone there is super helpful and willing to walk you through everything. Great experience. Highly recommend!

Fannicks is the BEST. Besides being our one stop shop for all things nursery and growing, I picked up this sweet ride yesterday. I already own an electric lawnmower and blower but this takes the cake. The staff was extremely helpful helping me better understand its capabilities and getting it home. My dog even wants to go for a ride now.

Very cool nursery mostly focused on fruit trees and other trees but they have a good amount of everything else as well!

Always an amazing experience here! I purchased some bareroot strawberry plants and they’ve taken so well to my hydroponic system! I can’t wait for my own fresh homegrown strawberries 🥰🍓

SO BELOW YOU WILL SEE THAT THE OWNER REPLIED TO MY REVIEW. I am disgusted! Apparently they "looked" at a video and assumed it was me. I guess they saw another African American woman and decided to say it was me in a video! I'm not sure if you are racist or prejudiced at this point! I never bought molasses or any of the other things that the owner mentions below. I literally went there to find my first plants for my garden that I was starting. I had multiple children with me. I can't believe that a owner would respond to a review with lies and a crude attitude! Also, how do you know which day I visited the nursery!?!? I did NOT write my review the same day that I went to this particular nursery! I really hope that you change your morals and the way that you treat your customers! If you look at other reviews you will see I wasn't the only one treated this way!

I ended up finding nurseries around San Antonio that are kind to ALL customers and have actual decent prices! By the way, everything that I bought at this garden center ended up dying. Anyways, it was a waste of money!

So I'm new to gardening and not one person offered to help me or even speak to me. They would kind of look at me with a strange look and keep walking. The prices were outrageous. I will say the young girl that worked the cash register was very sweet and kind. I will not be going back at all!

I absolutely love this place. They have so much to choose from and a large variety. I drive 2 hours to get my plants from them.
They are extremely nice and supremely helpful.
I highly recommend them.

Great selection. Very helpful staff. Easy free parking on the street and in front of the property. Easy to walk around their lot. Prices were fair.

Great place to pick up everything for your garden and planting needs. They have a great staff of helpful people that have been helping the community since 1939.
