We recently moved here and our builder Mattern and Fitzgerald highly recommended Acacia to install our front yard landscaping. Great recommendation. We met with Trenton several times to review our plans. He was very accommodating to our wants and, since we were new to the area, he was helpful in recommending plants that were deer resistant. When the work started the crew was very professional. Even after the work was completed they continued to monitor our yard. Rubens customer service is fantastic. Just recently Brian, the owner, stopped by to see if we were happy with our landscaping. Great company

We hired Acacia to landscape our front and back yards. We had the pleasure of working with Trent who was professional and knowledgeable. He was able to design exactly what we had in mind. The actual work was done quicker than I thought could ever be done. This was possible because they have their own crew and don’t use subcontractors. This is unusual in the Hill Country! I was extremely pleased with their work and they gave our home the curb appeal it needed. I would definitely work with Trent and Acacia again!

We worked with Trent and the Acacia team on the landscaping on our new construction home over a two year period. We were building on a cleared piece of land and the landscape design was incredibly important to us so we began with them early on in the process. They were recommended by our builder, along with another firm. But after meeting with the two recommended firms, it was an easy choice to go with Acacia, primarily because of Trent. He understood what we were trying to do and was able to take those words and interpret them into our design. Also, Bernardo and his team of skilled workers were able to put Trent's plans into effect beautifully. You should watch that team set giant landscape stones with their mini backhoe. Pretty remarkable. We completed our work with them last spring and they have stood behind their work. And now we are discussing additional projects with them on our property. I can't recommend Trent, Bernardo and the rest of the team enough.

Trent listened intently to what we wanted in our design and was very interested in earning our business. Other’s companies did not do that and wanted money up front to even see the design. The work done was impeccable and there workers cleaned up after themselves and cautious of other parts of our yard. The only suggestion was they did not call us to set up a tentative date after we paid our half of the money which could make a customer nervous. After calling them I felt much better about the schedule, but would have appreciated an earlier all from Acacia after paying the up front money.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend this company. We had numerous issues with the amount of hard landscaping materials because there was lots of gray mat area showing instead of good rock cover. This was never resolved.

Additionally, we have 21 plants that died within 2 months; and when we told them, they said to cut them back and wait until after spring and they should be fine. They put other plants in bad areas-such as large grasses that blocked walkways and blooming grasses that put significant amounts of flowers/buds in our pool daily.

We waited until after spring and showed them pictures that they still were dead, and they said they only guarantee for three months, not one year like every other landscaper offers.

So because they were 15% more costly (compared to 2 other bids), the materials used were minimal even after complaining numerous times, and giving us 21 dead plants that they told us to wait a season and then later claim the 90 day short warranty, is why we cannot recommend them.

The parts done correctly do look nice-just only 1/2 was correct; and, for the money and industry standards we expected much better. We took 3 days to redo irrigation lines, remove and replanted dead items, fix rock gaps, and purchase more suitable items for the pool and walkway areas. Such a waste of money…

Acacia Landscaping and Design designed and installed my front and backyard including a full irrigation system a year and a half ago and did a beautiful job! We even won best yard in the neighborhood a month after it was completed. Their service is great and professional. I called them last week to ask if they could check the irrigation system as I was afraid I may have a leak in one of the plant drip lines and they came out assessed the problem (no leak, yay!) and did an amazing job. Super friendly and highly recommended.

Working with Brian Reibel and the Acacia Landscaping team was one of the most positive parts of our new home building experience! Brian worked with us patiently to design a plan that suited our needs, working through many revisions and contributing constructively to the plan at each stage. Then, the installation team turned our design into physical reality on time, no fuss, and with a finished appearance even better than expectation.

We are doing a makeover for our new 75 year old home and Priscilla was great for drainage, landscaping, and irrigation. Her crews worked efficiently and carefully, all around YBD was a wonderful experience.

This review is a bit different since I am not a client of theirs. Instead I am an owner of another Service company specializing in weekly pool cleaning and Maintenance. Which if you know anything about yard guys they are notorious for blowing leaves right back into the pool be it intentional or not.

These guys make an effort to blow the debris away from the freshly cleaned pool which is much appreciated. However today they did something no other lawn company has done before. They saw we were there cleaning the pool. Instead of just starting their routine they left to do another yard so that we could finish our service on the pool. Which was a very classy move and much appreciated. They are considerate and leave things better than they found it. Great group of guys highly recommend “Respect” !

Priscilla and her team did an excellent job at my home. She was extremely responsive by visiting my property very quickly when I contacted her, quoting me a very fair price and delivered above and beyond on the day of their visit! I highly recommend their services and really am pleased by their outstanding work. I will call them in the future for continued maintenance for my property.

Priscilla Garcia and her team are fantastic. They completed a full redesign and install of our front yard, which doubled are lawn, added hardscape, and a ton of new draught tolerant plants. Priscilla is honest, provides a fair price, is communicative, and professional. Her team was always on time, extremely nice, and hard working. We are very happy with the end result and will use Yard By Design again.
