i HAD THIS COMPANY COME TO LANDSCAPE THE FRONT YARD PLUS PUT IN A SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN BOTH FRONT AND BACK. I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE LANDSCAPE. NO IMAGINATION AT ALL. I HAD ROCKS TAKEN AWAY JUST TO HAVE THEM REAPPEAR. THEN INSTEAD OF PLANTS THAT LOOKED LIKE THEY HAD BEEN THERE AWHILE, I HAD SMALL LITTLE PLANTS WITH NO VARIETY ON COLOR. ALL WERE RED ROSES. I LIKE RED ROSES BUT WOULD PREFER TO HAVE SOMETHING ELSE WITH IT. TODAY, THE ROSE BUSHES ARE STILL SMALL DUE TO NO SUN AND SCRAGGLY. THE LANDSCAPER SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER.
AS FOR THE SPRINKLER SYSTEM, I CALLED BECAUSE IT IS NOT WORKING NOW AND WAS TOLD IT WAS A $450 SERVICE CHARGE. YES, THAT'S RIGHT 450. THAT'S NOT A MISPRINT. THAT IS JUST THE SERVICE CHARGE. OF COURSE, THEY WILL FIND SOMETHING TO CHARGE ME FOR SO, OF COURSE, I WOULDN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. THEY EVEN PUT THE CONTROLS IN THE GROUND WHERE YOU HAVE TO GET ON YOUR STOMACH TO EVEN READ AND SEE IF I COULD FIX IT. SO DISAPPOINTED IN THEM.
I HAD ORIGINALLY INTENDED ON THEM DOING THE BACK YARD AS WELL BUT AFTER THIS FIASCO, I IMPLORE YOU NOT TO USE THEM OR YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED AND CERTAINLY DON'T GET THEM TO INSTALL THE SPRINKLING SYSTEM. YOU ARE BETTER OFF DOING IT ALL YOURSELF. I WASTED MY MONEY WHILE THEY LAUGH ALL T HE WAY TO THE BANK.

While we could not commit at this time, they will be on our top list when we are ready.

We called several landscapers to help with our privacy concerns, but only Acacia responded promptly. They listened to our concerns and offered some great ideas. They provided a quote and had the job done within 2 days after notice to proceed. We are so happy with our privacy berm, we can’t wait to use them again. Thank you, Acacia!

Brian, Jorge, Trenton and the rest of the team are the best. As I was in the process of building my home, they helped me design a landscaping plan that would achieve my objectives: curb appeal from the front elevation, a functional backyard for my kids to play in and to entertain guests, and creating separation between my house and my neighbor's house. All of these were achieved - and the result was even better than I imagined. I get a LOT of compliments on my landscaping.

After paying this landscaping an outrageous amount of money, I’d now advice you all to save your time, money and energy and DO NOT hire them. They were referred to us through our builder, we even switched from another company who we had hired to take them on as our landscapers as they were highly recommended and were quite persuasive. Since starting landscaping on our newly built home, they have disappeared for weeks at a time with almost no communication whatsoever and no check and balance for how much we have paid them. We are currently living in our new home with landscaping that looks like a jungle and half the house exterior remains unfinished and unkempt. After several attempts of trying to reach out to them and getting no clear answers back, we’re so frustrated at this point. If a business does not care about your home and gives it the due importance, they’re not worth hiring at all. Extremely disappointed because we really thought they were good vendors who would do the an efficient job in a timely manner.

From the design process through execution the Acacia team was a pleasure to work with. Brian sets the tone for the company, with everyone eager to please and taking great pride in the work. We had a large and complicated project with multiple teams working over several weeks. The end result continues to amaze.

Just had work finished at our house by Acacia. We had them landscape at our casita after not being happy with the landscapers for the main house. The soil prep, sprinklers, etc were all far superior. Even the grass they set as Sod grows better and greener than the main house (due to proper soil preparation).

Recently we have had them come back and remove the mulch from the around the house, replace with stone and really remove plants that were planted to close together and just looking unsightly. They redesigned, added in new flowering plants and really took care of the entire project.

These are quality people. Sprinklers, Lawn, Bushes, stone cut edging. Heck they even put in a little 10x10 area of pea gravel last minute for us for a raised garden. These guys are the best.

We had a great experience with Acacia! They expanded our driveway and changed the entire curb appeal of our house. The work was outstanding! We had a very difficult HOA to deal with and Acacia was extremely helpful throughout the process.

Brian and his team truly take time to listen to your preferences and understand from start to finish how to create the right aesthetic but with the right plants and landscaping that will fit your style and upkeep to really create your own lifestyle within your home! Acacia was recommended by our builder to do the landscaping on our new home. Trenton did a detailed plan for us which we implemented in three phases. The finished product was beyond expectations and they worked well with our HOA and city (Fair Oaks Ranch) requirement. The yard looks like something our of a magazine and exactly per their quote and plan. Trenton and the Acacia team was very professional and I would recommend their services without reservation.

Huge financial and emotional mistake to pick Acacia Landscaping to do our new home. Had initially signed with Greens and Blooms, however Acacia promised to do an outstanding job. They assured us Greens and Blooms was putting TOO many plants of small size and this was why their cost was lower. Acacia convinced us to break our contract with Greens and Blooms and we awarded Acacia a massive contract, paid 100% of it via check months in advance of any work as this was needed by the owner, Brian.
Absolute nightmare.
Price: Astronomical. Everything was upsold at a premium price now that work had started. $1000/each tree to install. When we found out a similar tree was obtained at the local nursery with FREE install for a fraction of the price, we were appalled. 11 pallets of sod installation $17k. List goes on and on.
Communication: I have emails and texts showing days to weeks for communication back to resolve issues after multiple requests. This review is being posted because it has been weeks with no effort to try and resolve nearly 200 plants missing from a walk through with the owner. I have had to step away from work to deal with issues that could have been avoided if they bothered to plan with open communication.
Accounting: Inflated, incorrect numbers. I have had to step away from work to do multiple invoice runs with them to get numbers straight. Then I get billed the same thing again a few weeks later! Leuder stone area billed almost 1.5-2x the area covered, materials not used, swapping of invoices without signatures, etc. I have been shorted by 20% of the plants on my invoices. This is around 200 plants. When asked why and confirmed count after a walk through by Brian, the owner, he agreed something was not making sense. He thinks it is because they installed bigger plants than they should have. No documentation, no receipts, no evidence. Just matter of fact. And if he needs to figure out why there is a discrepancy I would owe him money! The burden of proof when the count is off by so much and you have been paid in full months in advance is on the vendor!
Personnel: sales people. They are very nice and friendly. Unfortunately they convince you to pay so much and initially not feel so taken advantage of.
Plant install: tags left on plants, holes not deep enough allowing for plants to die, new plants installed are dying, taunted by the owner Brian that on replacement of some plants that died that they did us a favor after we spent more than 100x that replacement cost on the project. Installing plants haphazardly without following lines and symmetry. No attention to detail. Multiple inconsistencies. For example, what should have been two identical repeating berms on landscaping design is completely different and strewn together.
I met with them several times, writing check after check, trusting them. What a mistake.
Overall, miserable and stressful experience for a product that was under delivered for a premium price. Friendly people yes. Terrible communication. You will be taken advantage of.

Can't say enough nice things about Acacia and the landscaping job they did for us. Brian knew exactly what we needed and did a great job with the design, that was within our budget. The crew that worked on our landscaping was very professional & neat. I had a minor correction (my fault) and they came back out and fixed it the following work day.

Highly, highly recommend Acacia Landscape and Design. Acacia is the most professional and responsive landscaping company (or company of any kind, quite honestly) that I have ever worked with. Their management, employees, and work product are the best in the business. They made excellent recommendations for our backyard overhaul (new zoysia sod and complete landscaping installation for our backyard oasis after we completed our pool installation) and completed the project very quickly and with the highest quality plants, sod, and labor. They do not cut corners and when they say they will be there, they will be there. I wish every contractor had the integrity, responsiveness, and professionalism that Acacia has.

Acacia was very responsive, performed the work quickly with full crews and professional equipment. The pre-planning and quality of plant selection and quality of plants used was excellent. Acacia was willing to correct any deficiencies even post completion. Expertise of drainage planning was their weakest skill but overall a good choice for our landscaping project.
