Dennis responds quickly, his service was priced fairly, he showed up ON TIME, he’s very communicative, and follows up after the job! We are COMPLETELY SATISFIED with his work and would highly recommend!! He DOES NOT ask for any payment up front (which is always a red flag for us), not even a deposit (which we would have been OK with). He’s just a fair, hardworking individual wanting to do a great job for a fair price - I wish there were more Dennis’s in the world!! Our grass was all but gone due to bad dirt and the yard was very un-level due to erosion and this is what he did for us!! Can’t wait till it greens up. CALL HIM!!

Lawn D.R. did an awesome job! Front yard; limestone borders and river rock around flower beds and trees and put in knockout roses. Backyard; limestone borders river rock w/stepping stones and added palm trees/tropical plants. Fixed drainage issues and replaced sod on side yard. They also corrected the sprinkler system for the new layout; capped unneeded sprinklers and added new ones for correct coverage. They were professional and courteous and answered all our questions and did everything to make sure our project turned out great. You won’t be disappointed if you choose Lawn D.R. for your landscaping needs!

Lawn DR Landscaping is an excellent company to do business with. Dennis Hernandez is honest, professional and he and his crew are extremely efficient and do excellent work.

He hired to Dennis to execute a major engineered drainage project for our home. His pricing was EXTREMELY competitive and we weren't caught with "gotcha" change orders which was refreshing given our prior contractor.

To summarize a very long, painful and complicated story, we initially contracted another local landscaping/drainage individual on basis of positive Google reviews and ended up with a botched project which was unable to come close to meeting the engineer's specifications. This person cut our main water line and irrigation, trashed our lawn, muddied our entire property, leaving the project GROUNDED for almost 6 months. Worst of all he wasted a lot of our time with reasons for why he couldn't complete the project or justifying changes cost/delays. After both a lot of lost time and money, Dennis and his crew took on the project, redid the damage left by the prior contractor and completed our project in less three days, passing engineering inspection with flying colors without any drama.

I highly recommended Dennis, he is honest, kind and does good work, which often hard to find. I will continue to use him for my landscaping needs. A+

Dennis and his team at Lawn D.R. completely transformed our front, side, and backyard, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! From the first visit, Dennis was professional, responsive, and flexible. He came out within days, provided a detailed quote that same night, and worked within our budget to get the most value possible.

Our project included new grass in the front and back, a walkway, a rock bed, and plant beds in the front yard and around our trees. His crew was punctual, professional, and detail-oriented, leaving the space spotless at the end of each day.

I’ll admit, I made one oversight—I only requested new grass in the bald spots. Once it was laid, it made my older grass look a little tired by comparison. 😀 That’s completely on me, and Dennis did exactly what I asked for. I’m already planning to bring him back to finish the rest so it all matches perfectly.

We had a wonderful experience with Lawn D R Landscapers. We hired them to replace our wood fence and install synthetic turf in our back yard. They came in when they said they would be here on time and did a great job! They were easy to work with in determining our price and what worked for our budget and over delivered. We are already working with them on an estimate for our next project! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Mr. Dennis Hernandez is awesome. He landscaped my yard just like I wanted and completed it the same day. What impressed me the most was the clean up. He swept up all the dirt, picked up all the leaves and washed everything down. My yard and the front of my house looked brand new. He will definitely be the only one I use for my lawn care. I can’t wait for spring when he plants my shrubs. Will post the final results.

I'm so glad I found Dennis at Lawn D. R. Landscaping. Other companies I called gave me quotes and consults but they only do irrigation installation or only turf installation. Dennis and his crew were able to do both and install grass, beautiful borders, trimmed bushes, added mulch, rock and pavers! They did a ton of great quality work (in the dreadful heat) using good quality materials for less than what other companies quoted me for just part of the work. They also left my front and backyard looking clean and beautiful. The best investment I've ever made. I highly recommend calling Lawn D. R. Dennis and his team were excellent to work with. They had already done work for two of our neighbors, so we knew he was top notch, and are so happy with the results! We’ve lived here for two years with a dirt patch for a front yard, and now have a beautiful walkway and actual grass. I have already recommended him to two more neighbors!!

From initially reaching out to Dennis, setting up a site visit, getting a quote, and starting and completing the landscaping work, I have been completely satisfied with DRH Landscaping’s services. He communicates, follows up and follows through, and knows what he’s doing. He also has an artistic eye to help make your landscaping vision come true.

I had moved out of state for several years and unfortunately, with my hired landscaping people, yard clean ups and maintenance were something they stopped doing about three years ago. As a result, the yard fell into quite a bit of disarray compounded by the devastatingly harsh freezes in the last couple of years that annihilated the beautiful landscaping we once had. We tried to keep up with the landscaping needs, but it got overwhelming as time went on and the needs snowballed. My yard was in desperate need for TLC and the replacement of the rotting landscaping timbers which I am going to guess were about 20 years old or more. I needed leaf and brush removal, dirt and mulch, and new retaining walls. I would guess that the leaves were about 3” thick at the point we got started – it was overwhelming.

I shared my vision with Dennis and how I felt my current landscaping timber retaining walls, brick retaining walls, pea gravel sidewalk, and limestone rock flower bed borders did not have a cohesive feel to it. I wanted a more organic feel and to try to improve the hodge podge feel of all the different materials used. The landscaping timbers were also placed in a harsh pattern with strong angles (more modern-like?) than the natural, flowing curves of both the patio walkway, brick retaining walls, and limestone flower bed borders.

Dennis understood my vision and put his artistry into action and delivered a beautiful result. I knew I wanted stonework retaining walls but not brick – Dennis suggested Oklahoma Red Flagstone and another gray Flagstone to help blend into the natural landscape as well as the brickwork of the house. I would never have thought to use two different flagstones – but that is more natural – variegation in nature! It’s gorgeous and it reminds me of walking through the creek beds and the quarries in the local area where you can see the beautiful, natural rock walls. The retaining walls have a nice, gentle curve to them now and drainage was also considered with appropriate drainage holes placed inconspicuously but yet also functionally in the flagstone. For financial reasons, we decided to keep the brick retaining walls where they were already placed and I barely notice the stark difference in materials as I did before – the hardscaping blends so much more naturally now.

The work was done in expedient manner – one day for yard clean-up/removal that took between 4-5 hours and another day for hardscaping and mulching which was about 8 hours. The team was friendly, helpful, and respectful and no one left until Dennis came to check out the work and get the “okay” from me. They took care of removing all of the debris, I didn’t find any trash later, and they sprayed down areas that needed to be.

Edit: Called Dennis again for the front yard a couple weeks later. Same great service, same amazing product! Still 110/10 would recommend!!!
