Had Robert out to replace one of our attic ladders. End result is fantastic and ladder functions great. These guys do honest work and take the time to do it right. We've already asked for quotes to do a few more jobs around the house as well.

The team was great. They took care of the work promptly and ended up lowering the cost from the earlier estimate because a doorknob just required repair not replacement. Would happily call on them again!

Perfect service. I was having a hard time recaulking an acrylic bath/surround, so I called TexFix. Tech arrived on time and did a superb job and finished the job in good time for the quoted price. I am completely satisfied and will use TexFix again.

Andy and Jacob are worth their weight in gold! They were precise and kind and caring and their work borders on artistic! Robert and Aaron are a delight to work with. The whole experience was a good one. The work was excellent and I was able to afford it! What more can I say I gave them a five when I would like to have given them a 10!

Aaron and Robert came to my home to do a repair. They put down drop cloths to protect my wood floors in addition to using shoe protectors. They worked efficiently and told me what they were doing at each stage of the job. Great service. Very Friendly. They will be doing more work for me in a few weeks. Great guys.

Service person arrived at stated time, discussed what he would be doing and proceeded with repairs. Very pleased with job completion. Service Tech was polite, friendly, and knowledgeable. Area was cleaned before he left and all questions answered. I would highly recommend Kent and TexFix for future projects.

TexFix did an absolutely amazing job for us during a very high stress time! Super thankful that they were referred to us! We had a sewage back up that flooded our home and really required some quick renovations. They replaced sheetrock and texturized and repainted our walls, built and painted cabinets, replaced and painted trim and baseboards, as well as brought our bathroom back together by putting our toilet back in, hanging our mirrors back on the wall, and replacing our bathroom vanity. They worked with us through our insurance pains and they were super patient but also urgent in helping us get things started and finished in our home. At the time of this accident I was already very pregnant in my third trimester and they helped us get our house back in order before our baby girl entered the world! Robert, the general manager checked in with our needs regularly and quickly got guys on jobs for us. He was quick to answer any calls or texts from us and made sure jobs were being done at a high level of satisfaction! Thank you Robert! The majority of the work on our home was done by Kent and Jacob! These guys were so kind and professional! They would answer our questions and have us check their work in order to make sure it was done in the way we preferred it! We are so appreciative to TexFix for meeting our needs and helping give us our home back in such a high stress time! We would highly recommend these guys for any handy jobs needed done around your house! We will continue to reach out to them when we need things done around our home that require skill and care!

We had the team come out for a minor remodel and substantial painting. We could not be happier with how everything turned out! Aaron and Robert were very professional and managed the project expertly. Kent did a fantastic job with the carpentry, his skills are truly amazing. Jacob and Andy did a phenomenal job with the painting. The attention to detail was very appreciated and we will certainly be reaching out again for future projects.

This is the second time that we have used TexFix and I’m already looking for other things they can fix around the house. Today they installed two ceiling fans, a ring camera, A new door lock and fixed two sections of our wooden fence. They did such a wonderful job and were actually very quick. Jacob and Kent were both very polite, professional and helpful. Definitely recommend.

I’m very happy with TexFix Handyman and Painting and I will be using them for all my house repairs for the foreseeable future. I just had Robert, Andy, Kent and Jacob out to my house to take down a patio that was constructed poorly and was causing some rot on the siding of my roof. I was really worried I was going to have to replace all the wood but they were able to fix a lot of the wood siding and repair it so you can’t even tell. The price was reasonable, they are easy to work with and they were all very polite and professional. 10/10 would recommend

We recently hired Alamo City Maintenance to do some work around our office. The team was really friendly and we had the job done in less than a week. They came up with a creative solution to stop rainwater from entering the entry door with a skid plate. Our conference room no longer floods when it rains! I would hire them again for anything handyman related in the future.

Showed up to replace faucets in our master bath. Showed up on time, worked efficiently. Made sure to ask about any pets in the house right away and put on shoes covers without asking. The two man team finished the job quickly.

Texfix did an outstanding job removing and replacing my wood fence. Robert and his crew were friendly, professional, and finished the job quickly. Also, the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again for future home repairs. Highly recommend.

Do not use this company, they are horrible. We listed our home in San Antonio and our realtor HIGHLY recommended this company, said he has used them for over twenty years. We had other painters lined up but our realtor convinced used to use them. We needed the inside painted. They agreed that we could pay their fees at closing. Almost $8000. It seemed fair until we saw what they did. Walls were light grey and all cabinets, trim and baseboards were to be bright white.
We couldn’t believe what we saw. My fourteen year old granddaughter could have done a better job. Everything that was white needed two coats which wasn’t done. They supposedly went back to fix which wasn’t done. The realtor said don’t worry about it, the buyers didn’t care {they didn’t pay for it, we did }.
Several cabinets weren’t painted, baseboards half done, yellow spot on ceiling, which wasn’t Painted, doors were striped.
Guy in charge was named bill.
They sucked

We’re extremely happy with TexFix! They came out promptly to provide a bid and got started as soon as everything was agreed upon. Kent was always on time, respectful of our property and our dogs, and consistently professional. At the end of each day, he cleaned up thoroughly and updated us on the plan for the next day. It’s truly a breath of fresh air to work with a company that does exactly what they say—when they say.

We have talked about painting three bathrooms and replacing the drop- down attic stairs for years. My excuse was always, I can do those things (some day). I finally accepted the fact that I’m old and I just don’t want to do that stuff anymore. I’ll never admit that I couldn’t. Anyway, TexFix was recommended and so I asked them for an estimate. I was pleasantly surprised at their bid and they got the job. What would have taken me weeks of fretting, planning, cursing and actual work took Robert and Andy only 2 days to knock out 3 bathrooms completely painted, a set of stairs installed and even some drywall patch completed. Excellent, quick work by some awesome professionals. I highly recommend this company.

We hired TexFix to install cabinets in our laundry room last week. Aaron showed up on time and helped us pick out the perfect height for the cabinets (they were left over from a kitchen remodel). When we brought up the idea of putting a hanger and shelf between the cabinets he gave his advice and we ended up staining them a dark Oak color that made the white space really stand out.

A total win-win, the cabinets are out of our garage and we now have more space to hide all of our essentials!
