I had an aging heat pump that stopped working and needed a complete replacement of both the indoor unit and the outdoor compressor. I always follow a process of getting multiple repair/replacement options and price quotes. I called One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning and the owner Amanda and her technician Oscar looked at the system and gave me the bad news (system could not be repaired) and the good news of multiple installation options. They were completely professional and spent time explaining my options in detail and were gracious with their time. I would strongly recommend One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning if you are in the market for a repair or replacement estimate.

Oscar was a great technician, he was very knowledgeable and patient with all our questions. The additional unit he left for our toddler and helped him sleep great through the night as he was under the weather. The front office was also very patient with all our questions and empathetic. Highly recommend if you are seeking honest and great work being provided.

One Hour Heating and A/C was fantastic. Oscar came out and did a thorough job and was informative with the diganosis. Pricing was reasonable and scheduling was easy. We are ready for the winter and much more comfortable knowing our equipment has been checked out prior to heating season!!

What a wonderful experience finally finding an AC company that would repair the unit when we were not ready to replace. Kirk listened to us and understood our needs. His technicians were intelligent, showed us all bad parts and explained everything all along the way. They even placed a portable AC unit in the home until the job was done. Absolutely Incredible Customer Service!

July in San Antonio, the worst time for an AC to quit!! I don't write many reviews but this company was so amazing there was no way I could not leave a review. Amanda's customer service and concern were genuine and her communication was exceptional!. Amanda stayed in contact with me late into the evening to make sure I was getting the assistance I needed to get my ac back up and running. John was able to speak with my brother over the phone and review the issues. Between the two my air conditioner was up and running before I knew it. From the moment I reached out, Amanda and John were friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. They went above and beyond to resolve my issue quickly and efficiently, keeping me updated every step of the way. I felt valued!
I am very impressed and plan to use them for all my AC needs.

Just completed my annual HVAC check up and the technician was very informative and friendly. I always appreciate the Way 1 Hour conducts business. I would definitely recommend to any and everyone in San Antonio.

Would not recommend this company. Their pricing is extremely inflated and feels like a complete ripoff. They upcharge jobs by thousands of dollars with little justification. I also witnessed serious red flags in how they classify workers, including using contractors in ways that appear legally questionable. Overall, the business practices seem misleading and unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs.

Responding to their reply: It’s sad to see a company misrepresent their customers and say I’m not one. What a horrible thing to say. It’s defamation of character and have everything documented, from your own service tech saying your company scams customers to using him and only paying him less then $500 in a paycheck. He also told me he doesn’t have proper licensing to work with you guys and that’s all documented. Continue down this path of harassment and defamation and I’m sure the truth will prevail and lawsuits will be headed your way.

Our AC was on the brink of going out, we knew we were on borrowed time and then it happened. I called One Hour Heating and AC and they were here the next day. The whole system had to be replaced. They got the parts ordered and had the system set up temporarily until work could begin. Kirk the owner, and Oscar his lead supervisor (Oscar don't talk so much about yourself, your work speaks for itself. You got this, I see you going big places.) did a very through job. They did subcontract some help for the job and they were also very nice too. They worked very diligent to get it completed. When everything was turned on after installation, it was like night and day. I dont know how they worked outside in this Texas heat, but they did. Even though one subcontractor was very young, he did his very best. Missed a couple things (very minor) but One hour was out and corrected to issue with city inspection.

I would recommend them to anyone who may need to repair or replace their AC unit. My daddy always said, do it right the first time, there is no need for a second time. Thank you for helping this old woman and her family.

This is the only AC company you need. Amanda and her team (specifically John) came out to my rental property and saved me from having to cancel on my guests. Within two hours John had a solution & my system was cooling my home. Other companies told me it wouldn’t be possible! Professional, fast, knowledgeable, and all did it all with a smile! 10/10 service.

Our technician, Andrew, was very professional and knowledgeable. He was super detail oriented and did an outstanding job cleaning our mini-split air conditioner. I would highly recommend their service.

Great service, flexible with scheduling, and very thoroughly explained the entire process. I had a relatively new system that had a refrigerant leak, but was outside of the service warranty window. They were able to work directly with the manufacturer to help get the entire system replaced due to parts availability. This was a new build in 2023, we ran into some issues during that arose from initial construction. The team was very professional and documented everything with photos but had to make some big drywall cuts to correct the issues. The drywall was patched and painted at no extra cost despite the extra work. Now we have a brand new system, and they even handled the warranty paper work for us so we can avoid a mess like this in the future. Would highly recommend!

Andrew came by to complete some repairs and everything was completed quickly, kindly, and professionally. We’ve had the best experience with One Hour! This will be our service group from now on.

I can't thank one hour heating & conditioning enough for their fast response! my A/C went out on one of these very cold days that we had here and with little kids it's hard, and they actually lived up to their name by getting a technician out here right away. The tech was professional, diagnosed the issue quickly, and had everything cooling again in no time. if you need emergency HVAC service, these are the people to call!

Dalton did a fantastic job repairing our ac unit today, 5 stars all around. He showed up on time and got right to work, going above and beyond by actually crawling under our indoor unit to check the coils. He was very friendly, explaining his repair process and answering all of my questions. I hope we don’t have a need for AC repairs in the future, but if we do, I will definitely request him coming out again!

I've met the owners, Amanda and Kirk and let me just say that they are so passionate about what they do. Amanda is a fantastic resource, She is an advocate for women homeowner who may be uncomfortable with having technicians in their house or are afraid of being taken advantage of with services and cost. They take their time with vetting their technicians and ensuring that they are doing good, honest work for their customers. I would 10 out of 10 recommend them to my friends and family.

I have used other AC companies in San Antonio, some good, some not so good. One Hour did a superb job of taking care of me and my family and got us scheduled and done before we have some visitors in town. The tech was knowledgeable and helped uncover an issue that the other companies never had. We added a new UV light to wipe out mold before it gets to our air system. Call them if you want good service and good prices.

Andrew came out within 3 hours of my online inquiry (lines Frozen) and went through the diagnostics process, put in Freon and was done within the hour. Prices seemed reasonable, and service was some of the fastest (inquiry to bill) I’ve ever experienced. House feels so much better.
