Excellent service, I would hire them again

Screwed up an install of an HVAC unit. Didn't use proper size of PVC pipe for drain line, drain line wasn't at an angle for gravity to overcome, and did not create a proper blowout for clogs. Backed up drain line flooded room after a full weekend of use.

Refused to even acknowledge the problems or the resulting damage.

Find another company to do your work.

Islas a/c is an outstanding company!

I've spent a significant amount of time trying to communicate with Islas Brothers. They are totally UNRESPONSIVE. Additionally, after days of trying to coordinate a confirmed appointment, Islas Brothers DID NOT SHOW UP and was NOT AVAILABLE by phone of text. Islas Brothers has the WORST customer service and communication I have experienced in over 40 years of working with contractors. DO NOT USE ISLAS BROTHERS. They should not be in business.

These guys are con artists! We paid $14,000 for a walk in freezer and they never came when promised. Liked to argue with you and never completed the work. We have also filed with the builders group, wrote a complaint with the BBB hoping to get this resolved.

We had a few bumps to start with. The unit in our new home was five years old and a piece of junk. The unit they installed works great and is quieter than the one installed by the builder. There are several homes in the subdivision where I live are having the same problem. They were recommended to me by a friend.

The service at this place is horrible... they provide warranties that they do not honor. One of my tenants air went out they did not fix it for 3 weeks although she had small children in the home. Another tenants air is not working properly, its been almost 3 weeks they still have not serviced the unit. They have made several appointments have not kept one of the appointments, stay away from this place and save yourself the headache. They get and deserve 0 stars.

Will not even return your calls on warranty .

Called AC companies requesting a diag on my frozen AC. I knew it was time to get a new one but hoped to salvage or repair until I could afford a new unit. I had 3 companies (2 big brand and 1 independent) come out and give me estimates. Everyone I contacted was a friend and i didn't expect to get ripped off. They told me what I already knew...needed new inner and outer unit. I called Islas AC on a neighbors recommendation. They arrived within an hour. They assisted by installing temp parts so my family wouldn't suffer as I scrambled to secure a financer that wouldn't gouge me. They did this at no cost. Islas AC was BY FAR the best price. Checked B.B.B., licensing, etc and found no concerns at all. One week and I got financing approved. Islas AC was there the next day with everything and completed task in a timely manner. Installation was quick, efficient, professional and no upsales from "unforeseen issues". Even received call from installer to make sure everything was satisfactory and to answer any questions I had regarding CPS Energy rebate. I don't like to give a recommendation until I'm secure in my recommendation. 3 months have passed and still no problems. Great work, gentleman. I highly recommend this company.

Excellent service and fast response. I had two 20+ year old systems go bad at the same time. They repaired one unit and replaced one unit. Great price on the new unit. Thank you.

Will give a time and then not show up at the time. Additionally, after days of trying to coordinate an appointment, Islas Brothers showed up 2 hours late turned on my water house for “maintenance” after 20 minutes just left. Left the water on and NEVER RETURNED. Would not answer phone calls if they were going to return. Then unannounced showed up 4 hours later that evening another man came to pick up equipment left by other technician and said he didn’t have the right stuff to fix so he was also going to leave and can’t fix A/C unit. After two weeks of trying to get this AC unit fixed I am beyond annoyed and disappointed. Numerous of calls trying to get a hold of Islas Brothers someone shows up has the WORST customer service and communication I have ever experienced. DO NOT USE ISLAS BROTHERS. They should not be treating people like this. Go ahead say this review is FAKE or “We never leave a job unfinished.” If you would just answer your phone and actually communicate to your customers you wouldn’t have these kind of bad reviews.

My AC unit was not cooling and we were getting prices around town. Islas had the best price, fast service, and commitment to keep coming twice a year for maintenance on the unit. I am very thankful they came out and fixed it. They actually took less than 20 min. They are an experienced company. I had called other companies that without coming, they were already saying it was probably one thing or the other with a starting point of $200! I'm just glad I chose this company.

Very unprofessional and unreliable My clients own a business and have been attempting to have electrical work completed by Islas Bros. I have attempted to schedule for the last few days with no response. I was told that someone would be out there the same day and they were not. When asked when it could be rescheduled, there was no response. My calls have gone unanswered and my text messages with one of the owners have been read with no response.

We hired Islas Bros for our hvac in our new build. Very professional and responsive everything was done in a timely manner. Will definitely reach back to them for future projects.

Very good experince working with Islals Bros Mechanical. My project went very smooth and passed all AC&Mechanical inspections very smoothly from the first time. The AC,s are working very well, very good insulations. They earned my all referrals.

The technician arrived on time, was very respectful of my home, and clearly explained the work that needed to be done. They completed the service efficiently and made sure everything was running perfectly before leaving. My system is running better than ever, and I will definitely use Islas again in the future.
