We had a great experience with Verde Vista Landscape. The team was professional, responsive, and really listened to what I wanted for my yard. They helped with landscaping and garden design, and everything turned out beautiful.

They showed up when they said they would, worked efficiently, and the attention to detail was excellent. My beds and plants were installed thoughtfully, and the whole space looks much more polished and cohesive.

The pricing was reasonable for the quality of work, and I appreciated how helpful they were throughout the process. I would definitely recommend Verde Vista Landscape to anyone looking to improve their outdoor space.

Axel changed out some of our landscaping and added some to hide some electrical pedestals. Nice neat work.

Axel did an excellent job in a timely fashion, and delivered as promised. He was very respectable of our property and time.

Axel and team were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They took extra time to ensure the project is what I would be happy with and gave various options on how it could be done. They take pride in what they do and delivered a great result. Would definitely use again.

10/10 recommend! We are abroad in Germany and service is provided bi-monthly. We are informed when someone is coming to service our lawn then I am sent a picture showing the work.

I wanted to add hardscape to my backyard to reduce the amount of grass area. Axel was able to incorporate the design lines of a previous landscape project so the end result would look seamless. His team were friendly, professional, and attentive to my requests. Each day the work area was cleaned before they left. I'm extremely pleased with the end results-grass, rocks, and landscape plants blended in a eye-pleasing, water-saving backyard. Thank you Axel and your team for a job well done!

I explained to Axel my landscaping challenges with the grassy areas and asked for his recommendations. I am very pleased with the results. He rocked the strip next to the street and added more river rock in the rear of the house to aid in drainage when we do get rain. Moreover, Axel detailed the estimate, arrived when scheduled, cleaned up afterwards and, although the job took longer than the few hours he originally anticipated, he stayed until the job was completed! Very professional!

I needed a solution for an area on one side of my house that stayed muddy with the slightest bit of rain or sprinkler use. It was basically unusable. Axel from Verde Vista landscape designed a walkway that made the area not only usable but beautiful. The soft colors of the rock mixed with the light colored flagstone brought it to life. The attention to detail considered not only drainage but a modification to the existing sprinkler system. In short, it is not only aesthetically pleasing but efficient in use and most of all it protects the foundation of my house. When I chose this company, it was a great decision. This young man is experienced, listens attentively, courteous and designed a great solution at a great price. He showed up on time and delivered. He is a true professional in every sense of the word. I recommend him highly and will use him again.

I visited last Saturday, and noticed that a bunch of non-native plants were labeled as being "Texas" plants, even invasive plants like the English ivy shown below. If it's not native to Texas, it shouldn't have Texas on the label!

Rainbow Gardens is normally my go-to for Texas natives, but this season, I found myself having to check my phone multiple times to make sure I wasn't missing something, and I'm pretty knowledgeable about what grows around here. What's worse is that there are people who only know they should be buying Texas natives, but they don't know what they are looking for, and they end up trusting the signage and buying invasive species.

I understand that native plants are difficult to source, but at least reserve the native labelling for them. Almost 20 years ago, I filled my first yard with plants I thought were native, and then later found out that almost everything I had selected was invasive, and they had been labeled incorrectly. We should know better by now. Please do better, Rainbow Gardens, or I'm going to have to drive all the way to the Nectar Bar (which is awesome, but way on the other side of town).

Always come her with my mom to get stuff for our backyard and loves it! We basically can find everything here we need. Only the price is higher than other local place if you can but with wider variety.

Pretty good nursery with tons of different plants, fruit trees and such. They have a little space for insects to pollinize and they show/sell you everything you need to set your space at home. My toddler loved the view with all the bugs. Definitely the place to go when you need something for your garden.

Friendly service, expert advice and a very well stocked inventory. If there is a better nursery in SA, I haven't seen it. Education in gardening on the regular at both locations.

We love this place. Have come multiple times and there’s always a huge selection, the staff is helpful. We even took our sons Trail Life troop here for a field trip. They had an activity set up for the boys as well and the gal that led the group was very friendly and helpful.

Even if we don’t buy anything we just enjoy wandering here.

(03-30-19). My wife and I went to ask about grass that will grow in the shade. I was told the grss would need at least 4 hours of sun. We have a big oak tree in the front yard so we cutting it down! J/K my would kill me lol. We walked around and it's a big place with tons of flowers and trees. I love the trees here. I took some pictures to share with yall. I.hsve nothing bad to say about the place. They've just about everything you need to start your garden. If you're board you can walk around and check out the place. It's very nice. Plus this spot has a Pokemon Gym!

Don't assume this nursery staff know more than you do. They are largely sales people and can be quite ignorant about plants.

They put "Pierce's Disease Resistant!" on the labels for many of their grapes that are actually not Pierce's Disease resistant. Misled by their label, I bought a Reliance grape 3 years ago; this grape started showing typical Pierce's disease symptoms this summer.

It is such an irony: in their "Pierce's Disease Resistant!" statement, the nursery claimed "Common Thomson Seedless and Concord grapes will always succumb to Pierce's and should not be planted." Against their own recommendation, the nursery is actually selling Concord grapes next to this statement!

Don't trust the information provided by this nursery, as they can be outright wrong or misleading. Do your own homework and research.
