The technicians at SouthCoast are the best! Alex serviced our AC units today - did a thorough diagnostic & cleaning to ensure it was ready for the summer heat. He was right on time and I even received a text with his contact info and a photograph of him. I’m happy to leave a 5 star review and recommend these folks to everyone! They were very easy to work with. I was out of town and they coordinated an estimate with my realtor, quickly scheduled the work, were very efficient and stuck to the estimate. Only critique is that they messed up the scheduling at first and were about 30-45 mins late for the appointment but these were very minor issues. They left no mess and were kind enough to lock up when they were done and drop the keys off with security. Overall great job, I will be using them again.

We had a recent power surge that fried some wiring and our system stopped cooling. They came out quickly, got us back up and running and also installed a surge suppressor on the outside unit to prevent future occurrences since this is the 3rd time we’ve had a power hit (bad grid in our area). They have always been very honest and explained exactly what we needed and we feel very valued as a customer. Also love how they use technology to diagnose the system and keep you posted on your technician’s estimated arrival. Great customer experience!

We had SouthCoast Air & Heat service our Mini Split A/C on 2 occasions and they did EXCELLENT work. The techs Sean and Alex were professional and friendly. Very happy with them and will use them again!

I just bought a house, and my air conditioner stopped delivering cold air. The lady who assisted me was very friendly, polite and she was able to send someone to my house within an hour; which is beyond amazing when you have a baby and live in this Texas heat! I contacted several companies to get quotes and this one responded within minutes. In addition, they charged the least for consultations. The technician was also courteous and kind. Will definitely be using them again in the future.

Called the company at 8 am and even though they were booked for the day, they sent Sean out to inspect and ultimately repair my system by 4 pm. Sean was thorough, professional, friendly and did an awesome job to correct the problem. Will definitely call SouthCoast first in the future for my HVAC needs.

Joseph did an excellent job at explaining the situation for both our rental property and residence. Pictures were presented on-site which clarified my understanding of his findings. Joseph did not get in a hurry allowing me to ask questions and and inquire with my concerns. He was very professional and courteous! I will highly recommend SouthCoast to family and friends!

Alex Tobey was very knowledgeable and explained everything he did! I was hesitant at first but because of his knowledge and explaining in details on what was going on, I decided to stick with him! I greatly appreciate him coming in, explaining everything that was happening to my ac and explaining the prices! I found a company that I will forever use and hopefully it will be him that comes anytime I need service.

They were courteous and pulled us out of a bind on the weekend with no inflated werkend service charges or gimmicks. The repair was quick and Alex stayed in touch to let me know how things were progressing. Overall we could not be happier with the service visit and look forward to future maintenance with them.

These guys are great! They came out last minute on a Saturday morning to ensure that our AC was fixed. They put their customers first, notify via text who your technician is and when they’re in their way to the job site. Our technician was very professional and took good care of us! I highly recommend South Coast and will always use them for my future needs.

I selected SouthCoast Heat & Air based on their google review rating. After completion of my service repair I am now posting my own review from first hand experience. From the initial contact by phone I was met with warmth and professionalism. The technician assigned to me was knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what he would be doing and also broke down in a very simplistic manner his findings along with recommendations and options available to me. He worked directly with the product warranty company to order the necessary part and I did not have to pay anything out of pocket for the part. The labor price was very reasonable and the service call fee which was lower than 3 other companies I’d called was deducted from the labor cost. Even with ordering the part my unit was up and running quickly and satisfactory! I decided to enter into a annual service plan agreement at my own inquiry. I am hopeful this will be a lasting relationship.

Profession explained every step he was doing. Matt replaced our filter and did a through cleaning of the entire system. Like South coast employees and staff, they are great!

They did a fantastic job and did a complete install in only about 4 hours. In addition, I got a much better deal then what my warranty company was going to provide with a different vendor. I called these guys for a second opinion, and ended up going with them. Everyone was very professional I got them to start the work right away. Thanks again!

Our home flooded during Hurricane Harvey back in 2017. The AC was underwater and not functional. We called the company who originally installed it (before we purchased the house) and also one other company as a comparison. Both told us we needed a brand new unit, well over $12,000 for everything. Then one our friends told us about SouthCoast. They came out and checked everything and literally flipped a switch and got us back up and running at NO CHARGE! That was awesome!! Then during our rebuild we wanted to put in some extra returns, ducts, and a new intake as a result of some remodeling in order to get better airflow in other parts of the house. They did a really great job and even gave us the family discount.

Our system worked absolutely great for years until just recently it started acting up (it’s around 20 years old and has taken some power hits from bad weather). They came out the very next day and checked everything, explained and showed us the situation, then gave us multiple options for what to do (good, better, best). We picked to do the best thing since it has generally been a reliable unit for its age. All said and done, they had two great techs come out and fixed it the same day, and then charged us LESS than we were quoted!! Again a great surprise and a blessing. We couldn’t recommend them more highly! They are incredibly honest and treat their customers like family.

Great customer service! I called Sunday night with a broken a/c and was told that they could get me on the schedule for Wednesday but they would call me Monday to discuss sooner. I got a call that Alex would be making my appointment on Monday! Alex got there when expected, he was very professional and very patient with all of my questions. He explained what went wrong and was very thorough with going through his checklist as to what could have caused the capacitor failure. Overall a great experience and I highly recommend SouthCoast Heat & Air!

I cannot recommend Daniel and South Coast Heat and Air enough! We recently experienced a Texas heat wave, and our air conditioning unit decided to give up on us. Daniel came to our rescue on a Sunday, which was truly a lifesaver.

From the moment he arrived, Daniel was incredibly friendly, honest, and thoughtful. He even wore shoe covers to ensure our floors stayed clean! Despite the sweltering 101-degree temperatures, Daniel braved the heat in our attic to quickly diagnose and fix the issue with our AC unit. Within no time, the air was blowing cold again, providing us with much-needed relief.

This is a great family-owned business. Alex, the owner's son, evaluated my 20-year old home furnace and gave me all the pros and cons of keeping it or replacing it. He did not try to sell me on a new installation but, instead, explained the benefits of a new furnace versus the benefits of older models. The estimate on a new installation and other options were very detailed with cost of all materials and labor. I decided on a new installation, & Daniel and an associate did all the work. We scheduled a day and time online and updates on their travel to my home were provided. They were very prompt, on time, & completed everything in a couple of hours. They checked everything out to ensure heating was functioning properly before leaving my residence. The company also offers an annual maintenance contract for heating and cooling that I have subscribed to. Cost is very reasonable and includes checking out the A/C in the spring before our summer starts, replacing the furnace filters (I buy the filters at Home Depot), etc. I now know that my HVAC system is in good hands.

They are very prompt in their response. We’ve always talked with a real person even on weekends and holidays. They come in clearly marked company vehicles. Very professional and knowledgeable. They explain everything and keep amazing files of their own. They seem very honest. They also have very reasonable time windows and stay in contact. Will be using them once our units fail. Would definitely recommend!!

Now that SouthCoast is part of the Houston HVAC Alliance there has been tremendous improvement especially in terms of service and quality of workmanship. The staff is knowledgeable and courteous and respond quickly to service calls. Turnaround is fast and parts needed were quickly obtained and installed. I would not hesitate to use SouthCoast for any heating or air conditioning needs.
