Jeff Harper and team encountered problems rain and cold since starting January 9. The project was completed today March 9. Pool re-plastered and all decks recoated. I am writing this review to warn unsuspecting pool owners of this company's level of unprofessionalism. The relationship started beautifully. Our pool was re-plastered, however, due to COVID. the plastering company could not complete our start-up. I began my search for small pool business owners who could complete the task. The pool start-up was terrific, and all was well. I decided to use their services because of the affordable price that I was quoted however you get what you pay for. The communication between the pool tech, the pool owner, and the manager was horrid. They have broken several things, including the wheel on the Polaris and the skimmer basket, and then chlorinated. The different pool techs that rotate thru to complete our cleaning are novices. The techs cover their mistakes with untruths. When I called or emailed management about the pool, I was met with no reply for weeks. We have used this company for less than a year and now will return to cleaning our pool due to their untruths and lack of communication. Please save yourself the headache and continue your search for the an Upstanding pool cleaning and repair company. I have officially renamed this company “ UnProfessional Pool Supply & Services” because it’s more accurate.

Review about Professional Pool Supply customer service. I recently purchased a Polaris Alpha IQ+ from Professional Pool Supply. They recommended the unit to me based on Polaris’ high level of customer service. A couple days later I inadvertently cut the cleaner’s electric cable. As it turns out, Polaris’ customer service didn’t quite live up to expectations (didn’t have spare parts for the new cleaner), but Professional Pool Supply made up the difference. They went to great lengths - way above and beyond in my opinion - to keep me satisfied. The difficult situation with Polaris’ limited inventory caused a few wrinkles in the process, but Professional Pool Supply’s Ops manager - Brandon - was extremely helpful and innovative in his work to solve the problem.

I’m happy that I purchased this unit from Professional Pool Supply. They’ve won me as a long-term customer because of their willingness to go far above and beyond to help me solve a unique problem.

I have a twenty year old pool heater that just reached 85 degrees. I call home advisor and got three companies. One company said I needed a new heater, the other said they would have to investigate this model and would get back to me (two weeks later). Paul from Professional Pool Supply, looked at it, took it apart in five minutes and show me the defective senor. He said it make take time to locate the part. He left and called me back in fives minutes with part available. We schedule the repair day and time. They are 'PROFESSIONAL'! Reasonable cost for labor and part. I live a distance from the store, but I have started buying my pool supplies from them.

I highly recommend this business. I am a new pool owner and the staff has been very patient and understanding to me. I usually ask 100 questions every time I call and they answer in ways I can understand. My pool is sparkling clean and when I do need repairs they come out in a day or two to survey the situation and fix the problem.

This is subjective...your experience may differ. It started with the tech doing a complete pool service in 7 minutes, saw that on my cameras. Then we had putting chlorine tabs in the skimmer, because the chlorinator was too tight to open? (See pics).

The company is always responsive to complaints, and their technician Paul makes them look good. They just had too many fails in a highly competitive market. The final straw was the waterfall pump basket covered in algae, which was apparently my fault for not running my waterfalls for 5 minutes each day. And the pool guy never even noticed this?

Do your own due diligence and check public records for litigation and judgments just to be sure.

Rob was great. He also had a creative suggestion for my waterfalls plumbing that will save me from having to replace pumps in the future. Very helpful overall.

Jeff was very helpful initially upon selling me my Dolphin pool cleaner, but after the sale was made and as soon as it needed repair that’s where the helpfulness ended. My machine would sit there for weeks on end and each time I called and talked to one of the repair guys the story changed each time as to what was going on and how long it was going to take. Plus the repairs were not done properly. After many frustrating interactions I took my machine to Texas Pro Team Pool Supply and the difference was night and day. I’ll never go back to Professional Pool again.

Jeff Harper was a pleasure to work with. He listened, paid attention to me, took great notes and remembered every detail. He was completely transparent about our pool deck expansion and made sure his team did an excellent job, which they did.

I thought a lot before writing this review but in the end, I figured people should know and be warned. We had our pool re-plastered, tile installed on the steps and the old tile "scale-buster" cleaned. Professional was over a thousand dollars cheaper than the next bid. I should have known it was too good to be true.
When they came in and prepped the pool, some of the old tiles came lose and I noticed the tiles on the water line between the pool and the spa were hollow and needed to be reset. Jeff, the owner, assured me everything would be taken care of and he had a great tile guy.
I had quite a bit of spotting at the bottom of the pool and thought there might be iron stains in the quartz plaster that was put in. Jeff kept telling me it was organic and they would take care of it. I asked my neighbors who recommended Jeff to come look because we have the same water source. This is when they told me they had issues with their quartz plaster too. Their blue colored quartz finish was uneven and spotty. I wish they had told me before I hired him!
Anyway, Professional Pool applied a chemical that removed the reddish-brown stains and then we got severe yellow stains. This was all going on near the end of our 30 day chemical treatment period. Some of the tile was still not fixed and Jeff sent over his guy who showed up to finish the work without any grout. He used white thin set as grout and it looks terrible. The chemicals they used removed the yellow staining we got algae. At this point, Professional pool had collected their money and finished their 30 day "maintenance period". When we were able to finally get rid of the algae, the yellow staining came back. I tried some chemicals recommended by another pool company but it did nothing. Then, I went to Professional pool and asked them to please tell us what they had used to clear up the yellow. Their store assistant manager, Will, was even rude to me when I came in to buy the chemicals and some filters in our attempt to fix the plaster appearance. Absolutely crazy. Please see pictures of our "new plaster" and beware. I am going to try the chemicals once again when the weather is cooler. If it doesn't work, we are going to have to try an acid wash which will be a pretty good price and a huge waste of water. Really really wish we had gone with another company.

Pool is exceptional. Staff is friendly and professional. I receive a weekly update of all services and Chemical impound of my water. Always safe to swim in.

Jeff and his team have done an outstanding job in resurfacing our pool. His team shows up when they say will, they are courteous and mindful of our property and they communicate regularly on all aspects of the project. We could not be happier and we highly recommend calling Professional Pool Supply for any pool project!

They were able to come out in a timely manner to look at our hot tub heater. Rob was very nice and explained what the problem might be. Quickly found out what it was but also was good about explaining there could be more wrong since it’s an old heater. Came back a few days later with the part. And discovered there was more wrong. Very patiently explained what we needed and broke down the pricing and all that he was going to do. Within a week my hot tub is up and working. I also appreciated the text messages letting me know when he was on his way.

I should have written this review the first time. 1) I found this place a few months ago, I had waited weeks for another pool tech company to come out, then that company would look at the pool because I wasn’t home to pay them! (I had already spent so much money with them over the last year.) Professional Pool Supply had someone out in days, 2) next visit they gave me instructions on how to fix my skimmer myself (I almost did it right). Went back, explained, bought just the part I needed (saved hundreds of dollars) and fixed it, 3) was having a problem with cloudy water that wouldn’t get better. They told me I likely had holes in my filter. They were right. Bought parts, did it myself, saved hundreds of dollars, 4) just had the tech out again. Diagnosed what was wrong in minutes and told me how to fix it myself. I really like this place and for an older DIY guy trying to save money. It’s the best.

We recently had a full deck and pool remodel done (tile, coping, plaster, spray deck).I loved dealing with Jeff through the whole process. He was always available and communicated thoroughly. Any questions or concerns we had during the process were always addressed and solved promptly! Our pool looks beautiful.

My old pump died for the last time. Professional Pool Supply came out the next morning and looked things over.

The next day I had a new energy saving variable speed pump installed along with a labor saving robotic cleaner. Rob and the staff are great!!!

I’ve been using these guys for years. They’re very professional and reasonably priced. They come in and get the job done in a timely manner and leave no trace behind. I also enjoy their willingness to help and teach me about the pool equipment and how to maintain everything. I highly recommend Professional Pool Supply.

Professional pool supply is a great company and super accommodating! They make communication very easy. I can text and they are fast to respond. They are quick to come out to my property when ever there is an issue with the pool or equipment. I highly recommend them for pool maintenance and repairs.

LOVE our new pool. We renovated our old pool in October. Professional Pool Supply had a great price, communicated with us regularly, gave us options, gave us great advice, and were so easy to work with. We replaced the coping with beautiful flagstone and replaced the tile, resurfaced the pool, and added some mosaics. Professional Pool Supply also fixed our lights. Since completion, they've come back to check on the pool and answer any questions. Highly recommend!! We are very happy with our new pool!!

Professional pool supply is an incredible company. They always go out of their way to fix pools quickly and efficiently. Rob is awesome. My pool was a mess and within 24 hours of him fixing everything it was crystal clear.

I was left very impressed with Professional Pool Supply after they refurbished my pool and replaced the entire pump system. When gathering bids to fix my non-usable pool, I chose PPS because they provided a reasonable quote that I could digest. Now I can enjoy a beautiful working pool. I like to thank Jeff and his entire staff for their amazing work, especially Paul. I felt comfortable asking any question, no matter how small. They were professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable.
