Cleaning and repair was done within a few hours of my phone call to A Affordable Comfort LLC. Scott and his young assistant had my problem rectified in a short span of time. This is a very nice and very knowledgeable gentleman who can be trusted to give you excellent service at a very fair price! Thank you, Scott for giving me peace of mind in a nice cool home! :-)

After having previous work performed by affordable a year ago I still have only 1 referral as to whom use on AC tepairs. I had my 4 tin house unit replaced and they far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Scott or his brother to give you a exceptional help and value for the work they would provide

I contacted A Affordable Comfort LLC this afternoon and talked with Scott. I tried to explain that my heater was not working and that home warranty had denied the claim. I relayed what I remembered of what was broke. Scott came out and looked at it and just fixed it. He had to replace parts but had them on his truck. .......AND it was half the price the other guy was going to charge the warranty company!!!!! I am not easily impressed, but I was definitely impressed with Scott's work and attitude. I will contact A Affordable for any future issues I might have or that my neighbors might have. Very happy with the service of my furnace. Scott was able to make it to my home same day. Scott was also able to replace the part that was needed also same day and explained why my furnace was not working properly.

Mr. Scott was very helpful and quick to come out and fix our ac problem. He came highly recommended from close family friends. I will also be recommending him to all of our friends.

We live in a Single wide trailer & our unit was 20+ years old & knew anytime it will go out. Unfortunately, it finally died. Without AC for a week, I had to find a company. After looking in our area in Splendora, I found A Affordable Comfort a week later. I had the pleasure of talking to Scott and he was very nice, informative & knew what had to be done. Scott quoted us a reasonable price & we went for it. He sent a group of guys and they were fantastic, quick & got the job done. We received a New outside unit, indoor unit & a New thermostat. Would recommend this company. My a/c went out and he was able to come same day shortly after I called. He did a diagnostic and fixed the problem right after! He was also able to educated me on how to help it perform better in the future. Very kind and professional. Will use again and pass along to family members/ friends!

I live in Tavola. Scott did an amazing job! He shot me straight from our first conversation this morning as to what he had going on and assured me he would be here today. Called Scott, answered the phone immediately, was at the house within a couple of hours, he diagnosed & repaired the problem within the hour.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICE

This company told me that they unclogged the a/c drain and the unit should be working and cooling the house in a few hours.
The house did not cool down even after a day and a half.
Called them back; this time they gave me a diagnosis of corroded/leaking filter drier and no freon at all.

Gave me a whopping written estimate in the mid $800's.

I called for a second opinion; this second company informed me that A Affordable pumped down and closed down the system. This second opinion opened the valves and found that the unit is full of freon. Now the a/c is fixed without any major expense on my part. My house has cooled off nicely without any more problems.

I would NOT recommend this A Affordable Comfort to anybody because of their DECEPTION and DISHONESTY to me. I would not recommend trusting these people at all.

Always get a second opinion if this company gives you an exorbitant estimates.

So thankful for Scott! He was able to come out SO quickly (the same evening we called) and stayed until he could thaw out our system and make a determination on what was needed. He was able to look up our warranty and had us up and cooling the same night. Would absolutely recommend and will use him in the future!

Houston and surrounding areas were hit with hurricane Beryl causing major damage to the area. Millions of people were with out power. My house has a back up Generac generator so I had power at home but my A/C failed. I spoke to Scott's brother Richard and within 10min Scott was at my front door. We agreed that the 20yr old unit had to be replaced. Scott sent me a quote to replace the system and within a day my house was comfortable again. I am writing to share my sincere appreciation for the exceptional service we recently received. After the recent hard freeze in Texas, our AC unit failed to respond when the weather warmed up. My husband and I performed basic troubleshooting, such as checking fuses and thermostat connections, but we could not resolve the issue.

After our regular company failed to respond and others quoted expensive "after-hours" fees, we reached out to A-AFFORDABLE AC. Scott arrived at our home within the hour and identified the problem—a faulty wire—fixing it shortly thereafter.

I remain impressed with the responsiveness of this company. Technician is friendly, and thorough. I feel quite confident they're honest and while I don't price shop around, i find what they charge to be reasonable and fair.

I'm a landlord and my tenant had texted that the AC wasn't working. I called Air Of Houston on Sunday and they could have come out on that day, but the cost was higher than if they came on Monday, so I chose Monday. They came to the property and called to inform me about the leak and the expense for fixing, but my unit is a 2009 and that I have gotten my use out of it, so I decided for a whole new unit. He put the coolant in for my tenants until the very next day they installed the new unit. They were very efficient and my tenants were happy to have the cold air. I don't have pictures because I'm stuck at home with a boot on right foot and knee scooter.

I’ve been a customer for years. They show up, let me know what to expect in coming years and give me thumbs up of approval. They’re great. Don’t try to upsell all the time which I appreciate. Very down to earth.

Updating my review to add on. Customer for years but this year one of my AC units broke. David replaced both units and the water heater all at once. A few months later something happened to one of the wires in my unit and it wasn’t working. David sent the repair team out same day and repaired the unit that wasn’t working - and charged nothing! Excellent customer service.

Air of Houston did a great job installing a new 4 ton high efficiency American Standard (Platinum Series) A/C system to replace the 17 yr. old one that was Freon R-22 and the compressor motor had failed (ie. Home builder had originally installed).

The installation team (3 people) showed up at the appointed time. They removed the entire old A/C (inside and outside), quickly and cleanly. Each person had clearly defined roles and worked effectively and efficiently as a team. They put out temporary carpeting to keep the home (carpet/tile/stairs) clean and protected.

They installed the new compressor/coils on the outside concrete pad, hooked up copper tubing, vacuumed it, and hooked up the electrical service to it. In the attic, they installed all the condenser coils, circulation fans, the air suction/filter system, cool air dispersion system hooked up to existing air conduit/natural gas supply/electrical system/condensed water drain system. They used a lot of care and double checked the work. They installed a new controller downstairs, tied it into the WiFi system and made sure it worked on our iPhone/iPad App. The total time was approximately 4 hours. The new A/C works great, cools well, and can be controlled from the local controller in the room or APP. With the variable speed high efficiency A/C, our electric bill will be lower…..yeah! We know this from a similar American Standard unit we installed several years ago using the same Air of Houston A/C installation company. We are a repeat customer.

I am a long-time customer of Air of Houston. The reason is simple...they consistently do excellent work for a fair price. This time, the AC suddenly stopped working. It was Friday. Who shows up after 7:00 pm? David, the owner. His people were so busy that he got in a truck and came out to help, instead of me waiting another day without AC. The problem was a blown capacitor. Initially, that seemed strange to me, because the capacitor was only a month old. However, my pool pump also had a blown capacitor at the exact same time. David explained that it was probably a power surge that got both capacitors. That made total sense, because of power problems in my area from Hurricane Beryl. The failed capacitor was under warranty, so the part was replaced no charge. But, David refused to accept payment for the service call/labor, even though I offered. In summary, the owner comes to my house late on a Friday and fixes my AC for free, when he could have been home eating dinner and sending a technician to my house the next day. That is why I am a long-time customer.
