David and his Air of Houston team were professional, honest, knowledgeable, and prompt from start to finish (LESS THAN ONE WEEK, after hurricane Beryl, from calling to schedule a consultation to complete installation) for my Generac generator install.
At the consultation, David did a detailed walkthrough of the installation, maintenance requirements, pricing, and then answered all of my many questions thoroughly. He was quick to suggest testing the viability of using an existing capped off gas line—an option that saved me a lot of money. His plumber who preformed the gas line test and electrician who completed the installation followed suit with being professional and prompt.
The communication from the Air of Houston office was stellar—they followed through with call backs, accommodated a schedule change, and kept me apprised of the timeline for the week.

Air of Houston has been taking care of our airconditioning and heating system for years now. We have a contract with them for the maintenance and don't have anything negative to say about them. David and his team take care of everything, are always polite and courteous. We're so happy we picked Air of Houston to install our system years ago and keep it running without any issues. We just had Pete check our units and all is working great.

When we first purchased our air conditioning unit through Air of Houston a few years ago, we were unsure what we were up against. They walked us through the process from beginning to end and we never looked back. We are extremely satisfied with the unit and the service that Air of Houston continues to provide year over year. David and team have replaced all three of our HVAC systems with new, high efficiency American Standard units over the last few years. The install crew was very professional and respectful of our house, making sure they cleaned up everywhere they had to go before they left. Highly recommend Air of Houston if you need an upgrade for your old system.

It’s about to be July 1 in Texas, extreme heat, extreme humidity. We had an extreme air conditioning emergency. We called….. I explained the situation. The owner himself came out to the house immediately I’m talking with the hour to diagnose and fix our problem. I couldn’t have asked for better more efficient, more professional service than I just received! This is the second time I’ve used this company and I will never call a different AC company. I've had two experiences with Air of Houston. I gained David's contact via referral last year. They came out when my system stopped working the next day, to recharge. This year, the outdoor unit finally gave up. David and his team helped me out within two days with the inspection, and ultimately accommodated a full system replacement the next day over the weekend.

I've been using Air of Houston for over 10 years and am very satisfied. Their prices are competitive and their services are outstanding. I have bought 2 units from them and subscribe to their maintenance plans. When we had a hard freeze a few years ago, a pipe burst in the garage, and they came out right away to repair it. When we've had a problem with the A/C during a heat wave, they cane right out to fix it. That type of commitment and responsiveness is hard to come by these days. If I could give them 10 stars. I would.

Dave came out to offer a second opinion because another a/c company said I needed a new coil which would be over $5,000. Dave was thorough and honest. He checked my system and told me it was working fine. It’s refreshing to find a company with integrity that you can trust. Air of Houston is my new heating and air company. Thanks Dave!

We have been happily using the services from Air of Houston (AoH) for some years. So, when it came time to replace the whole of our downstairs central home AC system AoH was of course the first company we turned to. But a whole AC system isn’t cheap – so we also reached out to other companies to test the market and compare.
AoH reviewed our requirements, carefully laid out the options for us, and as expected David then provided us with the best and most competitive proposal of all!
From initial contact with Sandra, to the field crew who did a very nice tidy installation job (not to mention being punctual, professional and hardworking!), through to the final onsite commissioning by David, we couldn’t have asked for better service ….. indeed, just as we’ve come to expect from this family run business.

I called & the lady answering was very helpful and kind, she answered many questions for what she could & scheduled us very quickly for a check up. David & Chris came out to our house to do a check on our AC units for an issue that we were concerned about. Upon their AC inspection they noticed a separate issue with one of our water heaters & told us we really needed to shift our attention to that at this time to avoid a huge mess. I appreciate them checking our AC units & being honest that there was no major issue of concern right now, but to start considering replacing in the near future because of age. We got a quote for a tankless water heater to replace our 2 current water heaters since that was now the main concern. They also gave a rough estimate for what we could expect to replace both AC units. I highly recommend them!

I have an ancient 1995 rheem air conditioner (it's 2022 at the time of this review). I do all of the simple repairs myself, but yesterday I stupidly ran a screw that was too long through my outdoor condenser reinstalling the service panel. You live and you learn. My neighbor recommended David; he and Kolton came out and brazed the copper tubing to seal the puncture, then recharged the system with r22. David was honest about the age of my system, yet he didn't try to pressure me into replacing it, he left that decision to me. David also offered to recharge with a more cost effective drop-in refrigerant r407c instead of the expensive r22; I opted for r22 but I really appreciate being given options. Anyhow, this is my first time having AC repair guys at my house after years of DIY service and David/Kolton were terrific. It's 97 degrees outside, but my thermostat is reading 69 despite a twenty seven year old air conditioner. Not bad! David and Kolton were very polite and professional. I will absolutely call these folks when it's time to put in a new unit. I couldn't be more satisfied.

We had an amazing experience with Air of Houston. We had signs of something being wrong with our AC. So I called AoH to see what was up, hoping we just needed Freon or something. Within hours David was on-site, quickly found the problem. Then took the time to explain my 5 options, what it would cost, pros and cons. He explained everything beautifully and answered all my million questions. I was nervous about how we could pay for this and he gave me several options on how we could pay. I even asked if we could change our mind the next day. He said yes and even explained what we would need to pay if we didn't choose the expensive outcome. We had options but knew it would take some time to get all the money. He made me feel so good about paying. The installation was the next day, done beautifully by Adam and his young assistant. They did it all clean, quiet and precisely our neighbors didn't even notice. The system is amazing, so cool, so clean and low humidity. We love it, worth every penny. I expect our electricity bill to go down now that it's working correctly. Adam even helped me set up the APP. I would highly recommend them!

Called Air of Houston regarding 15-year-old,10-ton commercial AC unit not working. Showed up same day and determined unit had low freon most likely due to leak. Technician David was concerned about size of leak and didn't want to charge unit only to have it leak out within short period of time. Charged unit with nitrogen and came back the following Friday to check levels. Showed some loss but decided to recharge unit again and come back the following Monday. After reviewing levels and discussing cost of new unit we decided it would be most cost effective to charge the unit being that the leak was relatively small. Unit has worked well since repair. David went above and beyond to make sure solution would work and money wouldn't be wasted.

Air of Houston is straight up badass. They installed both my dual units many years apart. When my thermostat went haywire, David Bunch walked me through fixing it over the phone like the pro he is. And imparting knowledge to me that I had no clue about. Their knowledge, patience, and respect have earned my loyalty for well over 10 years. Everything functioning well, and can't recommend them any higher. I don't write reviews either, unless they are awesome or horrible. Air of Houston is awesome

We recently purchased a whole-house generator from Air of Houston. In response to my call to their office for someone to come conduct a site visit, David Bunch came to our house. David was friendly and knowledgeable and conducted a thorough site visit and explained in detail the process of installing the generator, including trenching to install a gas line from our gas meter to behind the garage where the generator would be placed. He then prepared a written quotation. Compared to more expensive quotations we had received, David's quote was reasonable and acceptable to us. We accepted his quote the next day. David immediately ordered our generator and it came in within a few days. His crew that delivered and spotted the generator, his crew that dug the gas line trench, and his electrician who connected up the generator were all friendly and efficient in their work. David had the generator completely installed and working in less than three weeks from the time he ordered it. We are very pleased with the generator and the good customer service we received from Air of Houston. We recommended them to a friend who wanted to purchase a generator and we will do business with them again.
