Replaced blower motor on 5 ton Carrier unit. I feel Carrier is overcharging for a blower motor and I will never purchase another Carrier product. I feel Sebastian did a good of job and he is a nice young man. I paid 2034.01 for a simple motor.

Jose from Red Star Air did an exceptional & professional job repairing my AirCondioner today. He diagnosed quickly the issue & fixed it in a timely manner. A Very trustworthy & honest employee. You will not find an Owner (Joe) that cares about people in general as well as his staff & the job they are performing. I defenitely recommend Red Star Air and have been a happy customer since 2007 when they replaced my original AirCondioner Unit. To save some money, it is wise to get the $15/month membetship, which practically pays for itself because it has discounts plus no service call charge.

I am so thankful for Red Star!! I have their maintenance contract now. They have been taking care of my AC repair and maintenance needs for several years now. Most recently my unit outside packed up on Sunday. They had replaced the attic unit a few years ago with the forethought and preparation that some day we would have to do the outside unit so it was forward compatible. I am a single mom and am so thankful for all the ways they work to save me money and make things work better and longer and together! They came out yesterday and worked all afternoon and into the evening in the heat and got us up and running again. Even installed a fancy new wifi thermostat to bring me in to the modern times. All at a super great price!! :) The one I had was probably 30 years old or more. Today I sit in the cool to write up this review. Thank you, Red Star!!

After getting 7 quotes from different companies, we decided on Red Star for our total HVAC replacement. Our old AC/Gas Furnace was over 20 years old and desperately needing to be replaced. We purchased a Carrier Infinity Heat Pump, 25 seer system. Austin and his team were very easy to work with, professional, responsive and on time. Austin answered all my questions up front and was able to work with me to fine tune my quote. Once we made our decision go with Red Star, they were able to give us an install date within 2 weeks. They installed our system on a Friday; and it was up and running that night. We expect to save money going forward with our new heat pump system. I highly recommend Red Star Cooling & Heating for any HVAC work.

The technician (Lee) came out right on time and started working on the problem (removed and replaced the blower motor of Carrier furnace). With difficulties at first because he was alone, Lee called in his support team. Jose and Joe, coworkers, responded and within minutes got my air condition up and running again. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the three employees of Red Star Cooling & Heating. Upon arrival, they introduced themselves and were very polite. Since more people show up, I thought the repair price was going to increase, but it did not change. An estimated cost of service was provided to me for approval prior service which I thought was very helpful.

I highly recommend Red Star Cooling & Heating for anyone looking for an honest and reliable air and heat repair company. Also, if your equipment is still under warranty, Red Star will work hard on your behalf to reach out to the manufacturing company and to get the part that's needed to get the repair job done. I will definitely put this company on my speed dial for future services.

Honest company. I initially put out an inquiry on yelp and put down what I was able to self diagnose. They texted me back and worked with my diagnosis and verified if I diagnosed it correctly and gave me some pointers. I had them come out and Rocky came out and gave a final diagnosis of the issue and laid out the options for me and his recommendations. No pressure at all. He brought up the possibility of trying to replace the coils themselves (they were leaking) which is most likely the cheapest option. They also contacted the manufacturer for me to check for warranty.

Price wise, for the options seemed to be a little higher than average but I know during summer time, all hvac companies are charging more so not a knock on them.

All in all, I would not hesitate on calling them again (waiting for my builder to reply to see if there is anything they can do the get the warranty since they said they offered 10 year parts and labor warranty)

Red Star has been to.my house 4 times in 6 months and the problem is still not fixed. I can't get the assigned technician here. They keep sending people unfamiliar with the system. When they leave without correcting the problem, they say the assigned technician will contact me, but I hear nothing until.i follow up.

I highly recommend Red Star Heating & Cooling . I give this company and A+ rating for prompt service, expert skills, and courtesy to the customer. Jose’ was here to diagnose my air conditioning problem and Cristin and Louis were the techs to replace my unit. Jose’ returned when the technicians were through installing my unit to double check and make sure everything was running accurately. He has since called twice to follow up to make sure I was happy and comfortable with my new unit. This has all taken place within a two day period. If you are looking for a company with integrity and expert service, Red Star Heating & Cooling is the company to call.

Called & reported a driver , that was driving reckless & was on the phone , he almost hit me , I had my infant in the car with me , told the receptionist she never got back with me smh please watch out

We needed someone to service our AC unit. The guy came, looked at our system and told us it needed to be serviced then charged $75. So nothing was done and he told us what we already knew. He didn’t clean up after himself and left the breaker off so our house got nice and toasty before we realized. Needless to say, we will be calling someone else to do work for us in the future. Gave 2 stars because my partner said the guy was friendly although spent most of the time trying to upsell.
