Before I met Ronnie Rains, I felt like the best way to ensure you had a quality unit installed in your home was to simply buy a unit and it was installed. In reality.. the brand of the unit has little to do with the effectiveness of a system. Sure quality and not junk is part of it.. but having a true Expert to design, install, and maintain the unit is WAY more important. Ronnie and Expert Air will make sure it's perfect, or its Free... unfortunately, I always have to pay. lol!

Stay away don't use Expert Air! They're not experts I signed a service agreement with them and had their technicians on service calls more than five times at my residence for the same issue that they never could troubleshoot properly and correct. This cost me over $1,000 in unnecessary parts that still did not fix the initial issue!!

They diagnosed my AC and got it blowing cold again. They also explained in detail that I need to start budgeting for a new unit as this one will probably not make it through two summers, which I already knew seeing as the unit is 25 years old. Very friendly, up front with options but not pushy on sales, overall 10/10 highly recommend.

Great service, even for out of normal business hours . Last Saturday evening (6 PM-ish) we switched over to heating from cooling and the furnaces blower did not turn on with the rest of the furnace system. By 9 PM-ish Expert Airs service tech had our system up and running and out the door. Like I said "Gr8 Service" :)

$19K spent on 2 different new complete systems over last 5 years. Last system was installed less than 2 years ago. East side home system wasn't cooling. After troubleshooting, observed suction line iced over from evap coil back to compressor. Inside fan motor not operating. Tech showed up & I informed him of my observations, he verified issue, said company may have a replacement in stock in Pasadena, if so he would go and pickup part, return this evening & install, as he was on call for the weekend. It's now 48 hrs later and still no update or path forward! He's sleeping in ac this weekend and I can't even get a phone call on what's going on. If the unit wasn't under warranty I would use some other business for this and future repairs! JUST BE RESPECTFUL TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND GIVE THEM A 5 MINUTE PHONE CALL, STAY IN COMMUNICATION, THAT IS THE PROFESSIONAL THING TO DO! Evarardo Alday DO YOUR JOB! I cannot day enough good things about Expert Air and the owner, Keith Cox. This company not only sold me a perfect system for my home and did a superb job installing it, they continually go above and beyond in servicing my system. Their customer service is unmatched! If you want a system that you can depend on and a company you know will be there and stand behind their work, look no further!

Awesome fast service. The technician, Eduardo, showed up 2 hrs ahead of time and was very courteous. He explained everything thoroughly and fixed the problem in no time. He was honest and knowledgeable. We will certainly use this company again. We're glad we found them.

From the salesman to the cool air in home restored, all aspects of the complete AC/Furnace repair was explained, executed and cleaned up in a professional manner. The job was explained down to specifics, the installers showed up in time and completed the job in a systematic, efficient manner. The job was completed in about 4 hours. Completely pleased with delivery of services. Will definitely call them them back when downstairs unit needs to be replaced.

I used to do A/C work back in the early '80s so, I can recognize when someone is or isn't doing a good job. I got three separate quotes to have an existing central heat and air conditioning system, for the downstairs, replaced. Ronnie, from Expert Air, was the only one who actually surveyed the house to see exactly what size unit was really needed. As it turned out, the existing unit was the proper size but, it never hurts to check. I will never complain that someone was "too thorough". Expert Air was not the least expensive but; their written guarantee was worth the difference. The installers showed up on time and were very professional. The first thing they did was to lay down a protective plastic down on the floor where they would have to walk. They removed the old unit in the attic first. Then, they installed the new furnace and evaporator coil, including a new plenum and condensate drain pan. Then, they installed the new condensing unit outside. After connecting the refrigerant lines, they pulled a vacuum to ensure there was no moisture in the lines and to also ensure there was no leak in the lines. A lot of companies skip this step. They even replaced the thermostat. Then, they started up the unit adjusted the charge and checked the entire system again. When they were done, they did a very thorough job cleaning up all the bits and pieces of the old system. I only found two small pieces of tape and a little piece of plastic. In my opinion, that is excellent. The new furnace was set up for natural gas, which is the standard, so we needed a conversion kit to use propane. We knew this in advance and, we also knew that this would not be installed on the same day but, the weather was just about what I consider to be “perfect”. Two days later, the owner, Keith, came out to personally install that kit. He seems like a very nice guy. He said that the temperature was supposed to drop over the weekend and, he wanted to make sure that our heat was working before that happened. He even checked the A/C for the upstairs and added some Freon at no charge. I might get a couple more years out of that unit but, when it comes time to replace it, Expert Air will be my first call.

This company is the greatest AC Company around. We are pleased with them.

The technician Michael V. came out and give me a quote to move my A/C unit. Very knowledgeable and respectful man. After telling him I had a service agreement with the company he gave me the best possible quote and after talking to company personnel gave me a lower price.

1 star is a lot for my experience. I decided to hire this company because even though I knew it would be expensive, I thought I would at least be on the safe side. So, a tech came out to troubleshoot the system, which he did & charged me a 90$ diagnostic fee. They suggested some parts & we proceeded. The tech later came back to replace the new parts but no fix. Then, they sent a more experienced tech to run another diagnostic, I was charged with another 90$ diagnostic fee & ordered some more new parts. The tech later came out & replaced it & still no fix. I was already a little over 1500$ in. They suggested for me to get a new controller for 300$ from them plus ANOTHER diagnostic fee for the installation, I thought that was nuts! But I still agreed because all I cared for was my a/c. They said they would give me a call back once they were ready & they never called. So till this day, I don’t have a working a/c.system & the heat is coming soon.

Julian Tapia serviced our heating system today. Julian was polite, professional, and courteous during his visit and clearly explained the work performed and the purpose of his recommendations. I highly recommend Expert Air as they have consistently provided great service to our home.
