Reviews of local pros in Tyler, Texas

Had a large tree in the back corner of the yard that was struck by lightening. I called Rodriquez and they came out immediately to assess damage and give an estimate. They said it was safe and would come back the next day to begin work. The tree was at the back corner behind the garage and house which is located in the Azalea District with no access to get equipment in. They parked their equipment in the front drive and had to drag and dolly the large pieces of tree from the back yard to the front to dispose of in their equipment. They worked all day and came back the next morning. They did an amazing job taking down this huge tree and cleaning up the area. All of the men were courteous and professional. The price they quoted was very reasonable considering the lack of access to the back yard.

I called Mr. Rodriguez. He came out the very next day to give me an estimate. I needed a large tree pruned that was hanging over my neighbor‘s yard.

His price was very fair and affordable and I had done my research on what the price should be.

He came out after communicating very well on the prescribed time which was within a day. He did the job with a very professional crew.

They cleaned up everything including swept the sawdust that was on my driveway. There was also (because of the wind storm) some of the branches that I’d gathered from my front yard, not anywhere near the location of the tree I had hired them to prune. They cleaned that up too!

Went the extra mile and great cleanup job. Big separation from the last two tree services I used.

Great service and very responsive when called/texted. They came in and did a great job and left my yard clean. One of the guys went above and beyond and blew out our garage. I will be using them again and recommending them to others.

We have used Rodriguez Tree Service for two different tree removals. Each job was excellent. Mr. Rodriguez and his crew showed up on time and set-up/clean-up was very quick. I would definitely recommend Rodriguez Tree Service!

Mr. Rodriguez team exceeded my expectations on trimming our 20 year old oak tree. During the process he discovered 2 squirrel nests and was careful not to destroy them per my request.

The price he quoted me was the price I paid. No hidden gotchas on trying to raise the price after the job.

Highly recommend this company.

I had very large tree and stump removed and three trees trimmed. Excellent very professional job! Outstanding cleanup as well. Rodriguez Tree Service has my business from here forward. They are the best!

March 2025 - As Rodriguez Tree Service did such an outstanding job for me once before, I sought their help in removing two extremely large sweet gum trees in the middle of my large backyard. Each very tall tree had to be manually climbed as no equipment could reach them. After the job was complete, the only reminder that there were once two large trees were the areas where the stumps were ground up! The yard looks great and there are no longer those pesky sweet gum balls everywhere! I highly recommend this tree service for any tree trimming or removal. All interactions are courteous and professional and their cleanup is over the top! Highly recommend this service!!!

Had a 2000#+ limb fall on our roof that had all of its weight on the roof. We needed someone quick to take care of it before it caused more damage. We received a quote (which was almost half what another company wanted to charge) within an hour of calling for one, and had removal scheduled two days later. It took them two hours when they estimated three. They are the only tree company that has not had to take down my back fence to work in the backyard. They cleaned up after themselves and were profesional. I’ve only had minor issues with scheduling miscommunications for a future job. We are using them again in December.

Thank you for doing such a amazing job on trimming my tree.. You guy are always so professional and passionate about the services that you guys provide. We have used you guys before when you removed a tree by our pool and was very satisfied with the work. We will continue to use your company for all our needs. IF YOU GUYS ARE LOOKING FOR A TREE SERVICE THAT GETS THE JOB DONE USE RODRIGUEZ TREE SERVICES!!!!!

These guys removed a massive tree that had split in half and fell in my backyard. They removed both it and the other half that was still standing just above my fence in record time and without incident. These guys are fantastic and very reasonable. Use them!!

Mr. Rodriguez and his crew did an amazing job cleaning up our trees after a recent tornado in Bullard. I was so impressed with the professionalism and care they gave to our property. We had 3 large, mature trees fall and you wouldn’t even know they were there! If you need a tree service that’s experienced, professional and reasonable, call on Rodriguez Tree Service. You will not be disappointed!

Rodriguez Tree Service did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. They removed a tall tree from my retaining wall, they were quick and clean-up was perfect. Now, all of my crape myrtles are finally thriving. We will definitely be using them for our next tree removal!

Rodriguez Tree Service is the best. We have used them for many years. We live in a heavily wooded area and have had to remove some very large trees. They have never caused any damage. They are professional, punctual, considerate and offer a very fair price. They cleaned and raked up everything before leaving. It looked better than it did before they came! We have the utmost respect for the way they run their company.

We have used Rodriguez tree service on several occasions. They have always done an outstanding job at a very fair price. The workers are very professional and show up when they say they will. Other services we have used in the past have left a mess behind, but they have always been exceptional at cleaning up after a job. I would highly recommend using them!

I have used this tree service several times now and they have done a fast clean job every time. They set up appointments quickly and I have been satisfied with their work. Will be using them again!

*** Excellent Service ***

I was in need of a tree removal and other trimming. They were promptly here for a quote and were friendly and reasonably priced. On the day of removal and trimming everyone was professional, safe and very clean. Services were completed that day and everything was cleaned and removed as if they were never there. Thank you so much for the exceptional services provided, I will definitely be using you in the future.

We were very impressed with Rodriguez Tree Service! We had them trim some large branches over our pool area as well as cut down a dead tree in our front yard. They did the job with utmost professionalism! All the debris was cleaned up in our yard and in our pool, and it looked better when they left than before they started. We will definitely be calling them again when we have the need for tree service!

They removed 6 trees and ground 5 stumps. Quality of work was excellent! The equipment used was top notch modern and clean. I will definitely use them again!!

Had lots of wind damage. Eleven trees topped or twisted down. Rodriguez gave me a great price. He even trimmed damage to my other trees. Very professional. Excellent attention to detail. Great job in cleanup. I highly recommend them.

Owner came out promptly and provided a reasonable estimate for multiple trees and stumps to be removed. Completed the work professionally as agreed upon and finished the job with in a week. Highly recommend and would utilize Rodriquez Tree service again.

We had a 40 foot+ Sweetgum with several large limbs hanging over our house. The access to the back yard was very limited as we only had a narrow fence and steep hill. The Rodriguez crew was extremely professional and knowledgeable about approaching this project. I had doubts that a tree of this magnitude, shape, and positioning could come down with no damage to our house or other property. Rodriguez proved me wrong and brought it down safely and efficiently.

The day of the felling, I also had a couple other widow makers in other trees I pointed out that they were able to handle while the equipment was there. Their flexibility to the needs of the customer was very reassuring and their prices reasonable. After they finished clearing the tree debris, they also filled in and raked parts of the lawn that experiences some wear and tear during the process.

About a week after the felling I realized that during the process, one of our lawn irrigation pipes had busted as a result of the removal. They kindly came back with the PVC pipe and repaired it just like that.

I cannot recommend Rodriguez Tree Services enough. I will go to them for all my future tree needs and refer them to my friends and family. Their professionalism, flexibility, safe practices, and reasonable prices all make for a trustworthy and reliable company.

Top notch service! Very efficient team. Works together like a well-oiled machine. Left our yard as if nothing happened. Worked safely and quickly. Highly recommend!!!
