Reviews of local pros in Tyler, Texas

I (home owner living in 12 acres of trees) have been using Rodriguez Tree Service for over ten years, they are my go to arborist. They give very good service at a fair price, highly recommend.

I cannot tell you all how pleased I am with Rodriguez Tree Service. We had 12 trees to cut down on the property of a newly purchased home. 10 were giant pine trees all located in a very small backyard surrounded by other homes. They were at the job site on time and worked a full day tirelessly. They were very professional, left the job site clean and extremely careful as they took each tree down piece by piece. The owner, walked the site after completion to make sure I was satisfied before payment was exchanged. I will use them again for all my future tree services and highly recommend them to all who ask!

Rodriguez Tree Service did an awesome job for us!! We had 3 huge trees taken down. They did everything we asked in a timely manner and cleaned up everything very nicely. We will definitely call them again when the need arises.

If you need tree trimming, stump grinding, or tree removal please use Rodriguez Tree Service for all your needs. This was the 4th time we used them and we are completely satisfied. Thank you for your complete professionalism. You guys are amazing and do amazing work. I am so satisfied and grateful for the great cleanup and the job with the tree trimmings. I would recommend them highly. Safety and the cleanliness was A+ … Thank you again for all that you did and will be using you for tree removal.. 🌳🌳

Great company to work with! They are very friendly and easy to use. They are honest, hard workers who will go the extra mile to take care of you. Once they removed our tree they leaf blew all the mulch away and raked the ground where they worked. I would use them again in a heart beat!

I have used this service for a number of projects...cutting back Crepe Myrtles, taking out very large and dying trees. Recently (Feb. 2026), I had 3 big trees rermoved, 4 large Crepe Myrtles cut back and dirt moved. Again, this service did a super clean job. Their work is outstanding in every respect. Would not hesitate to recommend them or use again.
Fair price, outstanding work!!

Mr. Rodriguez and his crew did a great job on my property today. He was very responsive from my first call to the end of the job. He was the first to come give an estimate. The job was scheduled quickly, they showed up on time, did a fantastic job and clean up was amazing. The trees look great!

Contacted Rodriguez Tree Service from several friends recommendations - they were excellent start to finish. Rodriguez provided a free estimate for both tree-felling and stump grinding of our old Sweet Gum tree. They provided clear communication throughout the process, made quick work of the tree and stump over a day and a half - they even took care of some brush I had piled in the yard from previous projects. They left the yard well tended to and cleaned up the driveway and street. These men take pride in doing great, hard work, and I will definitely use them again/recommend them.

Mike Castle came recommended by Breedloves’s Nursey and Rozelle’s Tree Care, plus Mike Castle is a certified arborist to which he and his team’s work surpasses the run of the mill tree trimmers. Mike does it right!

All 3 guys did a wonderful job. Very pleasant. I totally recommend for what ever they want
Thank you for doing a wonderful job 🙌

Michael, John and David were very pleasant to work with and explained in detail what they were about to do. They did an excellent job and I will definitely use them again in the future. Very professional and safe during the entire process.

All the crew that came to help bring down our sick tree. We're very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable. I have used castle tree services every time. Great job guys

Michael and his crew are the best in East Texas!
Professional, knowledgeable, skilled describe Castle's Tree Service. Michael's knowledge and passion for trees is unmatched and is exhibited in his project recommendations, putting tree health first . I've learned so much about tree behavior and health since working with Michael. I have a 5 acre heavily treed property and maintaining their health and beauty is a high priority.

The level of communication and dependability make projects run smoothly and efficiently. His office support ensures this and is always there for client questions and concerns.

His crew is friendly as well as highly skilled. It's a pleasure to have them working on my property.

This is my second year with Michael and I know my trees are in good hands with Castle's Tree Service!

These guys were first rate, would recommend them to anyone needing tree removal. Competitive bid, John talked through what the whole job would look like, and there was no damage to nearby fences or other trees, cleanup and protecting our yard was fantastic. Way to go Castle Tree Service!

Castles Tree Service in my opinion is the best in Town. Several certified arborists on the team. Always very nice and cleans up after they are finished.

Best Tree service ever. Price was very fair and work was completed and yard was cleaned up afterwards. These guys work amazing as a team. Will definitely use again and recommend for anyone needing tree work taken care of.

Highly recommend. Mike and his team will try to save your tree if at all possible. If a removal is necessary, they go above and beyond to protect the property around the tree, including lowering the branches one-by-one by rope.

I was very impressed with the crew. They really care about the job they do and follow safety guidelines. Safety was important as I have very large trees hanging over my roof.
They cleaned up after, leaving my property spotless. I appreciated the kindness and respect from them.

Mike Castle and his awesome crew have done work on my parents', sisters' and our trees. We are all more than pleased. We have never seen a work crew that love their job more than these guys. Absolute joy to watch them work. Mike and crew are extremely professional. They communicate well, show up on time and thoroughly clean up. If we could we would give them a 6th star.

One tree had a condition that required removal of a large limb. I appreciate the knowledge of what needed to be done. Another tree required limb removal, so that no limbs would be over the house roof. Scheduling the work was easy within a few days. All the tree trimming was done well, and cleanup was completed. The cost was also reasonable based on the work required

Great work !!!
I hired Castle Tree Service to remove a huge broken branch, and also to trim and shape a young live oak tree.
They were courteous and professional, trimmed and shaped the young tree exactly as I had hoped, and cleaned up the mess better than any other tree service I have ever used.
Michael is an arborist, and my conversations with him convinced me that he really knows what a tree needs to thrive.
I highly recommend Castle Tree Service.
