They showed up on time however, they did not have the house address. It just happens that I was outside and saw their truck going by and waved them in. I was told they would provide Two estimates within a week. a week went by and I called the company and spoke with a representative. Gave them my information and also an additional email address however, I never heard from them again, so I couldn’t give you a review on this company as They appear to be doing well and don’t need the business. Thank you for showing up.

My ac stopped blowing air 1 night so I called this place to come look at it. I tried to get ac and heater service since they are out there anyway but they tell me that'd be a separate call and charge and that they don't service both at the same time. Not sure when service companies stopped providing actual service but it was annoying. Ac started working before they even went out to look at it so I pissed away $95 for nothing. Could have at least lubed a couple parts while on the roof. Also they said there was a special for $190 to service heater and 6 months later the ac. I'm not understanding what the difference is if I pay $190 to get them both done at same time? Won't be calling them back, I don't have tolerance for stupidity.

I've been without heat for sometime now. Louie the technician has a fantastic demeanor. He's friendly, diligent, has great customer service skills, and clearly wanted to resolve my problem. He explained everything that's going on with my heating in detail and in terms I could understand. When a problem arose that needed extra attention he had his boss come out and help him. I still don't have heat as Scott needs approval from my landlord/property manager to move forward with repairs. In the future I will recommend this company to anyone that needs work done on there a.c./heater.

I feel as if this business deserves two separate reviews; one for service and one for cost.
I had a leak that was fixed promptly and expertly. It required access to the plumbing through the dry wall which had to be demolished. The repair of the dry wall was done beautifully. Overall, each person who came to my home was professional, courteous and very conscious about cleanliness. I was so pleased with their work.
However the cost was exorbitant. To locate and repair the leaking pipes cost $258.00 per hour. And some of that time was 'down-time', that is, some of that time was spent waiting for arrival of equipment. Repair of the dry wall was more reasonable at $80.00 per hour.
In reading other reviews, I would echo the sentiments that the work performed is characterized by expertise, dependability, courtesy and promptness. But a caveat here applies: If you are going to use the services of Scott HVAC, get an estimate first.

I have been a customer of Scott’s AC for a few years now and I have received very good and prompt service. Their technicians have been courteous and professional explaining what services my unit may need. The majority of times I have been assigned “Sal” when I have done my summer and winter preventative maintenance. I have been very satisfied with his work and ask for him if he is available. I am very satisfied with Scott’s AC compared with other companies I have used.

On Jan 17th my house flooded due to burst frozen water heater pipe. Scotty came right away and assessed the damage. He got ahold of the insurance company right away. He instructed me on what I needed to do next. They had to replace the water heater, the HVAC and the air conditioner. Scotty and his crew went above and beyond to help and make sure the whole process went smoothly. A special Thanks to Lola and staff back at the office to make sure everything was ok and if I needed anything else. This company is committed to their customers safety and well being. I would highly recommend them.

I'm not the one to go out of my way to write reviews but this needs to be written. I will say I was skeptical with this company at first because when I called to make an appointment I was told I had one at 545 and the tech never showed.... I called back to find out that I wasn't set on the schedule and I'm not sure what exactly happened. But the professionalism, and the accountability they held themselves to was 10/10.

They called back and apologized and made it right. Talked to a tech and their dispatch team several times before an appointment was even made on when they can come out. They called back when they said they were going to call back. Had a tech out the next day to get the job done. He gave me the quote and said I have to go get materials and that he had another service call but he will be back. He did just that, called said I'm on my way. Came when he said he was going to be there on time. Did the job in a timely manner and was professional the entire time there and on the phone.

Great job guys I appreciate the accountability you all had to make it right and do the job. When I had called other companies (I will not mention names) to have them come out for a quote. They never showed. Never called. Never made it right. Scott Heating and Cooling did.

This company is great. They installed a new HVAC system for us. They were professional, offered the best price, and worked fast and efficiently. We had a problem with our furnace a few months after. It turned out to be a user error but Scott’s sent a technician out the same day. Gelasio was very knowledgeable and professional. He offered me a lot of tips on how to maintain and take care of my system to make it last the longest. I’m so impressed with the service and highly recommend this company.

After having issues at our daycare and have 2 other companies show up and blow smoke, I decided to call Scott’s. I was treated fairly, they understood the importance of getting issue resolved and sent someone out ASAP, they found the issue and had to order the part, they were out very next day, repaired the issue, and got use back up and going, that says it all!!! Other companies did not offer to expedite the parts and it took them 3 trips out to center to finally find the issue, 800.00 later I’m calling Scott’s they went out and verified the issue immediately and did all they could to help me. I would highly recommend Scott’s heating and cooling. They have my trust, being in the childcare business a/c and heat are a must!!! My kids are not going home looking like little tomatoes anymore. As for the other 2 companies I am respectful and I know karma will follow them( good luck)

Delightful customer service! Tech came out same day and found the heating problem to be minor and was able to get it resolved quickly. I was relieved and happy to find an honest, friendly and knowledgeable tech (Cepi). I’ll be calling again for any future needs.

RENTERS BEWARE !Do not rent lots from him we agreed on a monthly rental for the yard and started rent on 8-1-24 . Contract fell through and I let him know on 8-9-24 that we had everything out and what happened and he would answer back and finally after 10 days just responded back with no. I paid $2250 which was first and last months rent and only stayed 2 weeks but they refused to give back any money. RENTERS BEWARE they scammed me on that one so I hope this helps yall stay away .Business was done with Scotts heating and cooling and here’s the receipt and text messages.

The services of Scott Contracting were done very well and were very helpful. The contractors and the staff were professionals, courteous, and respectful. I would definitely recommend them. They responded very quickly to my requests. As soon as I called and got my estimate, within a week they were here already getting the job done. Their professionalism really stood out to me. They were perfect people and perfect workers. I was very impressed. From 1-10 I rate their services as 11. Keep up the good work and high performance.

I called this business and asked the cost to clean out a clogged kitchen sink drain. This respondent stated that it would cost between $125-225. I asked what would determine the price and was told that it would depend upon whether the small or the large unit was required. The service techs arrived on schedule and completed the job, 40 minutes from getting to my home until writing the invoice. They used the small unit (shorter "snake" length). When they gave me the invoice it was for $220, which I immediately questioned. I was then connected back to the office, where the contact person said that he had quoted a range of charges, that the plumber who performed the service determined the actual charge, and that he (the one on the phone) was not a plumber and couldn't determine the price. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, AS THEY WILL NOT GIVE TRUTHFUL ANSWERS. The work was perfectly acceptable, but the price was excessive, and not what had been represented. I had received several quotes from other services for this work, but unfortunately would have had to wait, which turned out to have been the better option. This was a routine service during regular hours, no emergency. I over-paid by almost $100. BUYER BEWARE

We have always had very professional services with Scott Heating and Cooling. Some months ago, we hired Scott to replace a mini-duct system in an apartment that we rent out, connected to our house. They worked with us to find the best units that fit our needs as an upgrade to the units that were no longer working. The installation was quick and clean and the system works fantastic, cooling the apartment. Recently, we were preparing to rent the apt and we went to check the heating function of the unit and, mistakenly, thought that the units were just set up for air conditioning. We immediately contacted Scott and the managers there, both Mike and Adrian, assured us--just as quickly--that if there was a problem with them having installed the wrong kind of units they would work with us to swap the units out for the correct ones. The next day they sent two technicians to check on the units and, to our chagrin, showed us that we had not been using the hand controller correctly. We had not seen how the controller 'slid open' to reveal all of the function buttons. While this was a very simple solution, Scott demonstrated their professional responsibility to immediately address what we thought was a big problem. We are thankful for their attention and great service and their willingness to continue to maintain their professional service relationships with their customers.

I deeply regret choosing Scott Heating and Cooling for my HVAC needs. Their customer service was far below acceptable standards. Not only were their business practices questionable, but the owner and manager blatantly avoided my calls (I tried 3 times a week for 6 weeks). I was left without AC for a gruelling six weeks, and to add insult to injury, they refused to honor the warranty on my two-year-old unit with multiple issues without any explanation. They installed the unit 2 years ago at a cost for $7,000 and provided a written 10 year parts and labor warranty but won’t honor the labor part. Such behaviour speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and concern for customers. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere for their HVAC needs.

*If you have ANY concern that your AC may not be an easy one day fix, DO NOT use this company!*

Once you pay your $95 fee, don’t count on this company coming back out to help. But do count on them upselling an annual maintenance plan for $205 without making sure you end up with a working AC!

Monday:
-$95 fee to check AC to be told it’s frozen over and needs to defrost.
“Not a big deal. Technician advised me that the $95 fee has a 30 warranty and they could come check the AC unit after it defrosts. Ok cool!”

Wednesday:
-Call asking for a technician as AC has been defrosting but still not functional.
-Told that the technician will come out Thursday afternoon between 3-6.

Thursday:
-Call about 4:45 to verify technician will still be coming out to the house?
-Told that technician is unable to make it and will move appointment to Friday afternoon 3-6.

Friday:
-Call around noon to verify once again that a technician is coming out today
-given confirmation that technician will arrive between 3-6
-Call AGAIN at 5:30
-Told it is after business hours and all that can be done is a message sent to the technician?
-6:15 no technician in sight.

I used this company once before with no issues which is why I returned. Maybe it’s a one off situation but I refuse to test that theory with this company.

Was having problem with a Mini Split, contacted them scheduled an appointment and they sent out Tech Chris. Chris knew exactly what he was doing and took his time cleaning and servicing the unit. Got it to work properly. Explained every detail of what was needed and what he was doing to fix the problem. I highly recommend them. Have been their customer for more than 14 years. From the minute you call to schedule until you get whatever situation corrected this company cares about the customer.

I was worried that my AC was giving out, called and I got their answering service. Nice lady took my message, I got a call back in less than 2 hours and was able to get someone out same day. Chris was very professional, patient, he listened and didn’t dismiss what I was saying. My AC is fixed and I didn’t have to pay an arm and a leg. HIGHLY recommend Scott Heating, Cooling, & Plumbing.

This company took over $300 from me with their inspection or diagnostics. Then told me they fixed my A/C only for it to break even worse then before, my furnace ended up costing close to $1800. I had someone else come fix it. This company charges by "where you live". I would never tell anyone to use this place. It's appalling to find out you get charged for "what your house looks like". These people suck, terrible business concept.

We have called Scott heating and cooling for a couple repairs and inquires about duct cleaning but Scotty came and helped us out when our unit finally died. He and his team figured out a new method of cooling our place using mini splits. He educated us on our building envelope and how to best cool the house most efficiently. We got rid of our HVAC and all the nasty ducts and installed 5 mini splits. The installation was done in a Day and for the first time in the 3 years of own ming our house we have a cold house! And our bill is almost 100$ less during these summer months. Scotty and his team are thorough and professional. Best money we have spent on our house. I highly recommend Scott Heating and Cooling for their knowledge, communication, and genuine want to help. Thank you Scotty and team we really appreciate you here at the Rezendes house!
