Erick at Cold Front was a life saver for my family during "Snovid", he was so helpful and informative. We had him back out this summer to complete our AC maintenance. AC is running better than ever in this Texas Heat!

Air conditioning was set a 74 but just kept rising on a 97 degree day! Tried to fix myself but couldn’t. Called Eric late in the evening. He arrived within an hour; diagnosed and promptly fixed the problem. Extremely responsive and professional not to mention very nice guy! HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cold Front Mechanical!

Was super pleased with the service provided by Cold Front HVAC. Showed up on time. Diagnosed bad capacitor within minutes and had it fixed and running within fifteen minutes. No extra charges or service fees. Will definitely use them again.

Our AC quit working so I called our warranty company and they sent a guy out. He says the thermostat wires had been disconnected, probably by the dogs. He then tells us that our unit is shot and he can sell us one for $xxx a month for 5 years! I wanted a 2nd opinion so I searched the web and found Cold Front Mechanical. It was late but I gave him a call. Told him what was going on and asked if he could come by the next day. He says “I’m just leaving a call now and I’ll come right over.” I’m thinking yea after hours service call. That’s gonna cost us. He gets there and goes straight to work. First the “wires” the other guy connected was backwards. Erick switch them right. Then there’s no power to the unit from the thermostat. Probably shorted out when the other guy crossed wires. So he changed the thermostat with an old one I had. AC kicked on and was running. I asked Erick what I owed him and got ready for this huge bill and was totally shocked. He said “nothing”. I didn’t know what to say really. By this time it was nearly 9pm and he was offering to have worked for about 2 hours for free. I couldn’t let him do that so I gave him some cash I had on me. Since that night, anytime I need AC work done, I call my AC guy Erick with Cold Front Mechanical. Just replaced all air ducts and both inside and outside units and I know I got a great deal as well as great craftsmanship.

First experience was through home warranty company after someone else told me I needed a compressor. Eric took a look and found it to be a simpler (& cheaper) fix. Integrity is important so he earned himself a loyal customer for at least two tuneups per year and all major repairs.

They were great. Had a heating problem on a Friday night before Christmas. They came out and fixed the problem that night. Tech was professional and extremely honest. Repair needed was simple and didn’t cost much. Will definitely be using them again.

Erick is a straight up guy that is really good at what he does. I like to use local and family owned companies because you can get to the owner and determine if they are someone you want to do business with. I really liked Erick from the moment I met him. He found the problem right off and fixed it without telling me the dozens of things that need replacing. I am now at a point if Erick tells me I need something replaced I will trust him and have him do it. He is really honest and that is hard to find.
I couldn’t be happier to know I have a person I can turn to on all my havoc questions and problems. I will highly recommend this company and Erick with my highest marks!

We had some AC failures at the house and the issues were fixed in a timely fashion. Everything was handled incredibly well, timely, and professionally. Easily the least frustrating home/utility repair process I've been through. Eric has integrity and care in his work--something I find lacking in a vast majority of businesses today.

Very honest dependable company! Highly recommend. They were early to the appointment, found the problem I had with my AC, repaired & suggested other repairs needed. Unfortunately, due to the extremely difficult warranty company I am currently working with, (Choice - do not ever use!!) Cold Front was not able to completely repair my unit.

My upstairs air handler fan was not working so I called Cold Front and Eric come out the next day as it was not an emergency. When he arrived it was working like it was supposed to after being off since the day before. He said its hard to know what happened but it was working fine. He did not charge me a service charge which he could have. He was honest and that counts more to me than anything.

Our air went out a week ago. After another tech was here twice within a week and still no air, the home warranty company sent Eric to look at it. He found the issue quickly and had it replaced and running in no time at all. He was very professional and super friendly. I would call him again in a heartbeat!

This company was professional from the first phone call. I spoke with Erick and told him what was going on, at that time he was on another job, but assured me he would make every effort to get to my place that same day and he did. He came right in and got to work. He explained in detail what was going on, what needed to be done, and completed everything that day. He even went the extra mile to explain how to keep the A/C clean, cool, and decrease wear and tear. I would highly recommend this company!

Erick at cold front is awesome! Our ac had gone out during the day while we were out, at 730 we come home and it's 83 in the house. I called Cold Front and Erick was over within the half hour, he had our system diagnosis in like 5 minutes, replaced the faulty part, and had us cooling down in a total of a half hour!! His prices are really pretty low to be honest, I was very with his services!!!
