A lot of variety at relatively compact place at reasonably good prices. One doesn't have to walk a lot to get different plants. I wish employees at counters were a little more courteous! That's ok.

Helpful service and wide favority of trees

Beautiful locally grown plants. All the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and willing to help in anyway. They have a large selection of healthy plants and top soil, mulch and fertilizer for whatever gardening project your tackling. Parking is ample and getting loaded is a breeze.

First time here probably won’t go back. Nice selection but customer service is terrible and prices don’t match product. When we spoke to the managers said half the staff can’t speak or read English so they don’t label them correctly. Didn’t honor the price shown.

They have any type of plant, tree, or flower you can imagine. Also a good amount of neat produce plants, peppers, olives, different types of citrus, pecan and pear trees, etc. Staff is very friendly and super helpful knowing the location and details of such a dense variety of inventory. Most of the information you need to know about the plant and how to care for it is labeled on its tag, which is very helpful. Additionally, the manager, Eric, is very knowledgeable about the location of all the plants in the nursery and any information about specific details. If you have special circumstances or need any additional help, he will answer any questions you might have. Such as; planting at least two of the same type of plant together will cross pollinate one another leading to healthier garden.

Nice selection of plants. The pots are very expensive and the staff will not assist customers to their cars...I had to ask for something to carry the plants in just to get them to my car. The employees appeared to be some what lazy.

People can’t even ask questions about what’s in stock, it’s like they are forcing you to come in.These people are nothing but greedy @sses. WILL NOT Visit any of their stores!

This is another good place to buy plants, there are a bunch in the area. This location is just ok, the only real complaint I have is the handful of employees that we had interaction with were very rude and NOT friendly at all. Customer service is very lacking at this location and because of that we probably won’t be back, like I said there are others in our area and will try them. If you need plants, live close and don’t mind bad customer service then, good luck.

They always have everything I need. Prices are a little higher here which is okay if your looking for something special. The staff HAS NO KNOWLEDGE OF PRODUCTS or just doesn't give a darn but they are all pretty nice when not having personal conversations or online time

Looking for a particular plant. Had pictures, asked both cashiers they did not know. Told me to ask manager. I did not know I had asked him first and he mumbled something and walked off. I was not able to get his name but they way he treated my daughter and I. I will not return there.

There's always a good selection of healthy plants. We don't typically ask questions, so I'm not sure of the service. The pricing is comparable to other plant stores and lower in some cases. Their sales and coupons put prices on plants that are unbeatable.

Well taken care of plants and the sweetest cashier named karma that always has a smile and helpful explaneing the sale signs. Sometimes plants at a set in wrong place but you can trust at check out she will tell you if your plants are not half off giving you a chance to not get them, because at Houston garden center all sales are finial.

I bought a sod from this location and was not a happy at all. The manager of the store was non cooperative, and very un friendly.
He was charging me full price, and sailing all the broken and damage pieces of sod. He was not willing to open the new pallet, even though there was only couple of pieces left in the last pallet and were all badly damaged. . He kept on telling me, if you do not want these broken pieces go get your money back.
I will never shop again at this location of Houston Garden Center.

Best plants, but worst customer service ever. Lady named, Karma that works there is very rude. Not once but twice now that I’ve been she has been no help, and been extremely rude. I am a frequent buyer, and do still plan to buy because the plants are cheap and beautiful. But don’t expect any sort of niceness or customer service from this place.

Loved the employees there, had just what we were looking for. We were searching around at a store and there strawberry plaints were 3.90 but Houston Garden Centers had them for 1.29. Loved the quality of the frute and vegetable plants they were in perfect condition and were easy to find.

I couldn’t have been more pleased with the assistance I received from Karma and most especially Hannah. The customer service at the Webster store was excellent. I wish I could post a picture of my flower bed. It’s beautiful thanks to Hannah’s suggestions and guidance. I’ve never been in the Webster store that I didn’t experience good customer service. Thanks to all!!

We showed up 1/2 hour before closing time on a night where we were going to be getting freezing temperatures and they were there staffed and ready to help. Every single person who helped us had a smile on their face and they were in a good mood.

We bought 30 roses, a mix of double knockout and number of those with other colors, and planted them all 23rd February, 2018 under proper conditions and care.
Unfortunately 10 of these did not survive, and when returning to store to ask for assistance and possibly incentive to purchase replacement of the 33% lack of survival rate, the manager only gave me a blank stare, stating it wasn’t his problem.
What a shame! Never ever will spend another dime at any of their locations after this shameful display of customer service!

I went because the commercial says lots of color varieties and low prices. Neither were found! Over paid for a money tree my children wanted which was half the price at Lowe’s! Went to Lowe’s and found more variety of color plants and lower prices!

Do not buy Christmas Trees here. Second year in a row. We purchased a 300$ tree and immediately took home to get in water. Had in water with tree saver within 30 min after the tree was purchased and after three days the water level hasn’t changed meaning the tree was dead when we got it. Ive drilled holes in the side of the tree. Sprayed the tree with water. I also made sure I had them cut at least two inches of tree trunk. I know this sounds trivial but to pay that much for a tree and for it to most likely not last until Christmas is just not right. The tree needles are falling like crazy.
The helpers there were nice and courteous. It’s the quality of the product that’s disappointing. Not trying a third time.

They have beautiful plants and great prices but when we walked in we didn't see a single employee wearing a face mask or following CDC procedures to social distance. Very happy with my purchase but I dont think I will be returning until better health procedures are followed.
