Good variety of plants - great pricing on the fall color I needed. Cashier was very friendly and helpful as was the porter who loaded my purchases into my car. Will definitely shop here again!

Had most of what I needed. Late in season, so expectations low. A little help would have been nice, but the folks I did find couldn't identify the plant pieces I brought with me. Great sale going on!

Sign up above the building says, "All Shrubs and Trees 70% Off". So I spent 45 minutes picking out plants and fertilizer for them. Go to pay and the cashier tells me they aren't on discount. Tell him the sign says all shrubs and trees. He says no, it says Most. I go back out to look and make sure just gonna shrug it off no worries. Sign says all shrubs and trees 70% off. I tell him it does say all. He walks out to look at it, tells me he doesn't make the sign and will go check with the manager. He disappears. comes back out without his apron on and walks past me completely ignoring me. Another cashier comes to check with me and I tell her the same thing. She just says no and shrugs. What pisses me off is being ignored, and the fact that they still haven't fixed their sign. It's totally okay to just say, " Sorry it was a mistake, we can't offer that" Instead of treating me like a pariah. I calmly put all the plants and fertilizer back in their proper places and left, buying nothing. I know my paltry purchase isn't worth much. But please, treat your customers better. And advertise accurately.

If you want an different plant or flower than the big box stores carry, this is the place to go. Also recently bought petunias for 1.99 ea. Look for the sales and you can get great deals.

Great service. We buy our Christmas tree here every year and the workers are great. Always ready to pull a few different trees out so the family can pick the perfect one. Thanks.

Love this place! Lots of selection brilliant colors Hardy plants. It's a little difficult to find someone to help you out with your selection. And maybe a little difficult to get someone to help you load your selections to the car, but if you bring your own muscle you don't need to worry about it. The price is more than make up for it especially when they drop it by 50% or even 70% in some cases.

The staff doesn’t speak English and they can’t even tell me if they have 10-10-10 fertilizer or not. I also asked if they had any redbud trees and they just stared at me confused. Very unhelpful if you have any questions.

Just tried to buy some roses. They have a great selection but rang up at register $5 more that tag on the display. Should have been 19.99 and rang up $24.99. They would not honor the tag and would not get a manager. What???

Beautiful healthy flowers, shrubbery, plants. The amaryllis were just gorgeous today. All I bought was dirt and grass seed though.

Great prices but the employees definitely do not want to be there. Be prepared to do the shopping on your own because no one is going to help you if you have a question.

I appreciate the prices, but I don't appreciate the way this company treats their workers. I have seen this company make their workers stand all day long with no seating. They get really tired. This ultimately gets reflected back to us, the customers. The workers become disgruntled employees. A bad employer makes for bad employees, and that gives bad customer service. So with that said... your customer service is horrible.

This is one of my favorite Houston Garden Centers! They are on an asphalt parking lot so no worries about getting my shoes muddy when I'm driving my wife's wagon around!
Also the people here are very helpful and friendly! Prices are great and a good selection of plants and flowers!

I came in and had over $500 worth of plants and they would not take cash! What a waste of time! They said they can take $100 bills. I wont be coming here any more.

You don’t answer your phone???? Your voicemail is full?? No way to run a business. This has happened on more than one occasion. I guess you just have enough business do you don’t have to provide service!

Customer service is lacking in person & no one will answer phone (true at all store locations)

It was alright i went for vegetables and herbs but the had a small selection I also wanted some fruit trees but they did not look well still spent 80 dollars

I recently visited Houston Garden Center and was impressed by their prices and beautiful flower selection. However, I was disappointed when I asked for a tree expert, only to be told that none were existing. The staff told me to look around instead. If you’re knowledgeable about plants, this place could be a good fit, but beginners may want to seek advice elsewhere.

So many plants to select from. They are healthy plants and kept up. The prices are good. I always walk out with a new plant.

This place has awesome deals on plants... But be cautious some plants have spreadable bugs or diseases. I've had my plants for a year with no problems, and I don't have a green thumb. At. All.

Almost all the plants I buy from here end up living very well if taken care of. The main down side is not being able to return it if you decide you bought too many! Also, sometimes they don't know very much about the plants you're inquiring about. Over all I've had good experiences.
