Prices are great. 1/2 off most other store prices. The problem is you get half the customer service to go with it. They will point in general direction of where something is that you have asked for instead of going with you to point it out. They young girl had no idea about the grapes my husband was asking about and lastly hardly anything is labeled so that you know what it is. When checking out as a tax -exempt purchaser, the girl asked me of I had any idea of how to fill the form out. I am from another town 3 hrs away and we dont know anything about how to fill the forms out. Seems like they are lacking in training and customer service skills.

Bought plants from here and they die almost next day, went back and they said not their problem they don't warranty their flowers or plants.
Try tp give them another chance, saw a sign for poinsettias since last week but is all false advertisement they don't have any...

This place is trash and when I parked to come in to look 4 Hispanic men ran to the front like someone was going to steal, I’m a Hispanic elderly woman and the way these people treat customers was nasty and rude the young man at the both was not nice when I asked if they sell plastic containers for plants, I would rather shop and spend my money at Lowe’s or home depot

Always love this place and always spend too much money because they just have so much great stuff. The staff is excellent. I had to make a quick stop to pick up an Easter gift for my mother. They directed me exactly to where the specific flowers I needed where. Had an excellent selection of colors at a VERY reasonable price and they helped carry my plants from the shelf to the register and then loaded them up in my truck. Which as a person in a wheelchair is a God sent. I will continue to use Houston Garden Centers as long as they're in business.

Sucb a beautiful place with a variety of mature and young plants, trees, flowers, seeds etc.

I've been to this location a few times before and decided to make my annual spring to summer visit, to buy a pride of barbados plant here for this summer. In winter, I prefer their callistemon, (bottlebrush) alongside the Texas Sage for my ornamental landscaping in Texas. They're both able to handle drought and an overnight freeze. They have a large variety of those to offer in December. Much more than they provide us public with the pride of Barbados plants to select from. Both plants catch the eyes with the bright red flowering part of these plants. Both are hardy plants and many Texas gardeners like both for their resistance to drought as well as their ornamental beauty.
