I was very pleased with Paul Davis Restoration. They were timely with their repairs, good at communicating timelines and took great care of my belongings. They always kept the mess to a minimum and made sure everything was finished to my expectations.

Paul Davis has been an amazing company to work with. They have made a very difficult process be as easy as possible. As we have gone through the process of trying out and refinishing our entire main floor, each of their teams has been extremely professional and on time. Would highly recommend.

They came to clean up our fire damage one day after it occurred. They were very kind and helpful and did a very tidy job! Highly recommend!
-
Paul Davis has been great and communicated through the whole process. Project manager Nick always took my calls and listened to me if there was a concern. Everyone was very professional. Extra shout out to Craig, Raphael and Cody.

I will never ever in my life call these guys to do any work on anything we’re still waiting months for a completed job - nothing but sloppy work and sloppy workmanship. I’m not happy about anything they have done!!!4 months of waiting for broken wood and flooring and countertops that don’t even level out. Complete mistake going with this company! Thousands of dollars for trash!!!! They walked in my carpets with dirty shoes huge stains in my stairs don’t cleanup after themselves, pulled in my garage had a huge screw in my tire. It’s just complete BS at this point. Not happy at all.

When my bathroom flooded, my insurance company sent a work order to Paul Davis restoration. A crew showed up quickly to remove the water, and so they get a star for speed of response.
Someone showed up to take photos and submit a quote to my insurance and they asked me to sign an authorization to get money from my insurance company without any scope of work or total. I declined to sign it without detail. They processed the payment anyway.
Communication was non-existent. A crew showed up unannounced telling me that they were going to do demolition of my bathroom. After attempting to work with them, I fired them based on the lack of communication and shady business practices.
They then asked me to write a google review, so here it is. Find someone else to do the work (look at my other reviews to see who I eventually found to finish the job.). -
We had a sprinkler head freeze and explode, flooding the walls and floors. Paul Davis came out the next day. Their team did a great job. They were professional, communicative, and very accommodating. Their work was very thorough and meticulous. I definitely recommend them. We are mid process. Hoping for the same quality from their restoration team.

I would not recommend this place for anyone needing help with carpet removal. The guys ripped out my whole side wall that was not affective and just left plastic and debris everywhere. DO NOT GO HERE.

I walking down the street in Sandy when one of your employees pulled out in front of me, one his cell phone, forcing me to stop abruptly so I wouldn't get run over. Not safe and not professional.

This was the first time I had to use a restoration company, and my experience could not have been better! Tim Barney, the project manager, was exceptionally well organized and very personable. He was in frequent contact with me and returned my calls the same day. He made what could have been a very difficult experience so much easier. My basement was water damaged and they worked diligently to get it cleaned up. I would highly recommend Paul Davis Restoration of Utah to anyone in need of mitigation services.

Im very pleased with the work. Once the work got started everything went smoothly. Very great job.

We had a flood from a broken waterline affect both upstairs and downstairs. The mitigation pieces were prompt and professional. The cleanup crew was very communicative and had amazing follow through but that’s the hook! Once we got to reconstruction it was a nightmare. This happened in May and we worked with our insurance to part ways in July and refunds weren’t cut until November. No communication, minimal work and what does get done has zero quality. Pictures are of “work completed”

The in process correspondence has been outstanding. And they jumped right in on scheduled mitigation, and now construction.. Brady and Trevor are great assets to the company

The only good thing about a broken water line and flooded basement was the incredible help by Paul Davis and Carson’s team. Our living space was destroyed and we had to be in an hotel until they fixed it and I don’t exaggerate when I say the company that was the easiest to work with through this nightmare was Paul Davis. They were a huge help every step of the way from support, to the inspector, to the moving crew.

Horrible service. 3 years later, 50 excuses, house still is worse than living in a tent, down by the river, with 2 exes that require 4x the amount of attention. I do not recommend Paul Davis Services to anyone with a brain

Scott took the lead on my families house fire. He did an amazing job coordinating with the subcontractors, did quality work himself. He was able to answer all our questions & resolve any issues. The quality of all of the work was incredible with some upgrades & structural changes. I would recommend their company in a heartbeat!

In early February, Northern Utah had experienced below freezing temperatures. One of my pipes froze and busted in my basement. Causing a tremendous amount of damage. Almost 6 inches of water covered the entire basement. So I had reached out to my insurance and they had recommended Paul Davis restoration. At first I thought the communication between Paul Davis and I was a positive one, they assessed my house. They got started as soon as I paid a deposit they quoted me a time frame of 4 months that it would take to finish the job. They said around the end of May early June is when they could be completed with the job. Once May had approached, I realized that they would not be completed by May. When I talked to Riley Sparks (My site manager) he quoted me end of June early July as you may have guessed things got backed up even more as Riley Sparks slowly fell off the face of the Earth in communication and they were not completed with the job until mid August. I have spent almost 7 months. Out of my house when he finally sent the text that the job was complete. I went over, and got the city to turn the water back on. The city had reached out to me to expressed concern that when they turned the water on at my residence, it was coming out at 50 gallons a minute which is abnormal for a home. They immediately turn the water back off when I had visited my home, the basement was flooded yet again. Paul Davis never fixed the pipe that had caused the problem to begin with when I reached out to Riley he told me that he assumed the pipe had been fixed and that it was my responsibility because I did not call the plumber. Looking back over my estimate from my insurance it shows, plain as day, that they had paid Paul Davis to fix the pipe/hose bib. And now, as I’m writing this review, I think to myself what did Paul Davis actually do? The whole point of them was to fix the pipe and restore my Home back to its Original state. Paul Davis is being paid for a job they did not complete. While I’m stuck like a teenager in my mother basement.

I recently bought a home and I had water damage in my laundry room. I had a plumber come and look at it, He was sent from my home warranty people. He also had Paul Davis come to do the clean up. It was about an hour and a half work. its a small laundry room 5ft by 5ft. I asked the guy how much it would be since my insurance wouldn't cover it because i just bought the house and there is a 3 month waiting period. He said that if they need to take down walls and do more damage control I would be looking at less then 2k. Which seemed steep but taking down walls made sense. Lucky it didn't have to go there the damage was small and the fans dryad everything so there was no damage. Only labor was them taking off the floor and baseboards which like I said took like and hour and a half including setting up the fans. When I got the bill it was 1,700? which is crazy to me for the work they did. I've been calling and asking for someone to call me to go over an itemized bill to see if maybe it was a mistake. I've been asking for weeks and no one can call me or tell me what I'm being billed for.
Suggestions? I just feel sketched out that they can't call me to go over what they're charging me! -
Brady and the team at Paul Davis made scheduling repairs as easy as possible. Every step of the way, they made sure we were satisfied with the work. I would recommend Paul Davis to anyone going through water damage in their home.

I recently had to file 2 claims with my home owners insurance (fire and water). I was very overwhelmed with the state of my home. Paul Davis took over and simplified everything for me. Their communication was great and they restored my home even more beautiful than it was before. Thank you Paul Davis!
