Just wanted to take time to thank and give a shout out to Brady Shock. He has been an excellent person to work with very understanding and gets the job done. There is definitely lots of red tape to get through when dealing with contractors and insurance. He’s a pro!

Carson, from Paul Davis, came to my home the same day that the incident occurred,, he walked through the house and with detailed explanation told me what he would be doing. Carson immediately had his crew on the job and started taking care of all of my personal items with extreme care. Carson kept in touch with me during the whole process, and if I had any questions I was always able to reach him. Carson was a great asset to me.

Excellent restoration specialist. Kept me abreast of every step of my project. Staff very knowledgeable with very good communication skills. The only concern I encountered was billing. Very difficult to receive return calls to complete payment. I would recommend this company for mitigation and restoration or any project you might need their expertise.

What a great experience! Apollo was quick and professional. We have been having water heater issues and Paul Davis Restoration has been reliable and just a great relief during such a stressful time. We will be recommending Apollo to everyone we know.

There are thousands of restoration companies in Utah and the West Coast. This is by far the worst out of all of them. Their employees are rude, their project managers absolutely awful. Awful. The only reason this place ever gets any business is because of word of mouth from people within the church. If your house floods, house catches on fire, if you find mold in your house or if you need a board up, please pick another company. They will treat you with way more respect than these guys ever will.

We recently had water damage in our home and turned to Paul Davis Restoration for help. While the process had a couple of hiccups—such as an extended mitigation phase due to moisture meter readings on the tile floor and some initial issues with the taping and texture work—Ethan was instrumental in resolving the moisture reading issue and ensuring our tile floor was saved.

Additionally, Kenny went above and beyond to make sure the contractors returned to fix any problems, ensuring the final work was done right. Thanks to his dedication and attention to detail, the results were excellent. I truly appreciate the professionalism and persistence of the team. In the end, I am completely satisfied with the restoration and would definitely recommend Paul Davis Restoration!

This company is quick in arrival and assessing what needs to be done. The workers were kind, considerate, and kept us informed throughout the day. I highly recommend them.
Brian and Jake were great to work with.

I worked with Kellen on the roof install. He was very thorough and easy to work with. The roof turned out excellent and gave my home a modern look. Would recommend.

About 3 years ago we had Paul Davis work on our condo doing some mold removal and rebuilding of the bathroom. Went great and was super simple.
We moved and decided to call them again about doing the full remodel on our new place. From the start we were buying things that were supposed to be included in the price. I purchased cabinets, faucets, shower heads, even tile out of pocket because it “wouldn’t happen on the budget” we had already agreed to. I got countertops I had never seen before or approved, and even that was considered “a favor”. The baseboards, which were supposed to be replaced, just had quarter-round added over the edge of the flooring in order to cover it up. The flooring was/is by far the worst part however. Almost immediately the laminate flooring was uneven and popping up in places. At first they tried to just glue it down and when that didn’t work I was told “too bad”. Finally, after fighting it, they came back and said they would have to tear out the flooring all the way to the door and level it, then put it back. We moved all the furniture but when I arrived home the day the work was being done, they found a “quicker fix” and only pulled up a few pieces. This quicker fix left a gap between the living room and kitchen, but I was told it was all they could do.
This renovation was supposed to take a month, but ended up taking almost 6 months to finish. With constant delays and no communication.
Flash forward to today. The floor is coming up all over the place, upstairs and downstairs. I am having to replace flooring I have had for three years. I would highly recommend someone else if you are looking for long lasting work. It looks nice at first, but it hasn’t held up.
Edit: In the response below they claim I accepted the final walkthrough. This is untrue and as stated in the original review I was told there was nothing more they could do to fix the issue and I was stuck with it. Not sure why I would continue to reach out about this hypothetical “warranty” when my first THREE attempts did not fix the issue. They continue to tell you things they will do but will not follow through.

Back in January of 2020 my home burned down and I lost my best friend. Farmers insurance helped me select Paul Davis Restoration as a preferred builder and they immediately secured my home. Following our first meeting I was assigned Jed as the contractor and Rusty as the foreman. The team inventoried my home and cleaned out all the remaining debris and all that remained was a sparse shell and the foundation. The house was a total loss. Jed got his team going and started work even before they received their first check. They kept me involved with every phase of the rebuild. I never had to fight about anything and they were very reasonable with respect to my wishes and upgrades to the home. I was given fair prices and a team that was more than capable of executing. They finished a total and complete rebuild of my home and the work was so good that I now have Jed and Paul Davis working on my second home. They are now my go to contactor for all jobs because they maintained integrity from the begining to completion with a quality to match. If you choose Paul Davis, ask for Jed as your contractor and Rusty. I added some before and after photos. You can see how sever the damage was and how impressive the final rebuild looked.

The ceiling fell down in my 90 year old mother's room Labor Day weekend because of our leaky swamp cooler. Our insurance company recommended Paul Davis Restoration and I'm glad they did. Jake came and assessed the damages, explained mitigation process and his crew got to work quickly after insurance company gave the go ahead. We're still in the process of reconstruction but so far very pleased with the way things are progressing.

Our master bathroom drain began leaking and we needed a fix right away! Our first plumber ghosted us and Brady was QUICK to recommend us plumbers! Once the drain was fixed, Nick came in to patch the hole in our ceiling and did a WONDERFUL, incredible job. Looks EXACTLY like before, like the leak didn’t even happen!!! Such wonderful people who are adamant about doing honest, good work in quick time. We’re so grateful!!

Be careful. I had a home destroyed by a fire. That same night, without permission, Paul Davis boardred up the home and put a chain link fence around the home to protect it, which I appreciate but didn't agree too. The next day I met with the Sales rep and he said they provide this service for "free" to the city, I thought wow, great! A few weeks later I get a check from the insurance company to pay paul davis for the mentioned work, which comes as a surprise to me. They went ahead, without talking to me and made a claim on my insurance. Also later was told, it is only free if you don't have insurance. So don't be fooled by it is free, it's not. This will reduce your overall coverage by that amount. Side note: I had a plan that morning to have it boarded up but they took it upon themselves to do it themselves, "as a service"... yeah right! It's a load of bull sales tactic.

When a flood turned my home into a water park (uninvited, of course), this restoration team showed up like total pros and absolutely saved the day. They brought in fans like an industrial windstorm—thoroughly drying every inch with precision and speed. Bonus: my dogs thought they were in a spa with all the wind blowing through their fur!

From the start, they’ve been incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and completely on top of everything—from preventing mold to handling communication with insurance (which was a huge relief). Every question I had was answered right away, and their professionalism gave me real peace of mind in a stressful situation.

We’re still moving through the full restoration process, but if the drying phase is any indication, I know I’m in the best hands. Can’t recommend them enough!

PS all their employees were extremely polite, respectful, compassionate of the situation. License and insured. Can’t recommend them enough.

We recently used Paul Davis for a leak in our parking office at our retail center, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. We were able to get our service agreement signed and the work completed within just three days. Their team worked quickly, efficiently, and with clear expertise. The employees were professional, intelligent, and respectful of our property throughout the process. I would highly recommend Paul Davis for any commercial restoration needs.

When someone else's huge tree fell onto our house, crushing one of our rooms 10 feet from where we were sitting, it almost ruined our lives. But the Paul Davis company was a bright, shining light that helped get our world back to normal! Awesome employees, great work, always on time, and amazing communication! They worked hand in hand brilliantly with our insurance company. Brady, Nick, Jake, Tina, Zach, Isaiah and the rest, you are all rock stars! Thank you SO much from me and my wife in Roy! We would totally recommend you to everyone! Wish we could give you a billion stars!

We were fortunate enough to have Dave Beus as our Project Manager (Paul Davis Restoration)— after significant damage was done to a family owned apartment building, from the impact a run away vehicle (two times in four months)!
Dave was very professional, proactive, honest, and helpful. He dealt with the business insurance to get the money needed for repairs. Dave was a great communicator! We will use Paul Davis Construction again, if we ever need to!

Any Home Depot can sell you merchandise at a competitive price but this store in Centerville, UT has the best people. They make my shopping for home improvements much less painful because of the world class service the provide. Many people don't realize how many services they offer to do for you. They have plumbers, roofers, door and window installations. Window coverings and flooring of all types. And the list goes on and on. This is not a store just for Do it Yourselfers. A great place to get it done for you and the best part is, they stand by their work and won't be out of business when you need service.

Update from 1 to 5 stars! Home depot inspected the carpet personally and determined that the carpet was wearing at a level that would not be acceptable. They have approved to have the defective carpet taken out and replaced with new carpet. Jon (Store Manager) and the Centerville Home Depot Staff are very good to recognize the issue and take great care of their customer.

This review is in regards to carpet and flooring only. The reason we choose Home Depot to carpet our entire home is our confidence in the products they offer to the end consumer. Only a few months after having it installed, we noticed dramatic traffic patterns and the carpet is actually breaking down. Home Depot stated that the manufacturer required that we have the carpet professionally cleaned even though it had not been near the 18 months as required in writing by Home Depot.

We had the carpet cleaned and of course that did not fix the problem. I have reached out to Home Depot to see how they will navigate this issue from here and feel confident that they will stand behind their product.

UPDATE: The manufacturer hired an inspector and came to the following conclusion:

    III. Conclusion:
This certified flooring inspector finds the following:
The concerns with the carpet are due to cleaning/maintenance related issues.
It should be noted that the vacuum brush roller was loaded with hair, which has the effect pressing the carpet down and adding to the cornrowing that is present throughout the installation.
No manufacturing deficiencies were found in this Phenix carpet, nor is there anything here that constitutes wear.

The findings are inaccurate because the challenges we are having would been found on the entire floor and not just the traffic areas. Waiting to see how Home Depot handles the situation.

These photos were taken within a foot of each other..
