The furnace stopped working at my 81-year-old mom’s condo in the middle of a 20-degree night. I found Dave because of these reviews, and every positive thing people have said is absolutely true. He answered my call at 7am, was there by noon to look at it, made some adjustments and analyzed the result of each one, and then explained it to me in plain English. He was honest and said he really didn’t know what the problem was but that he got it working after he disconnected and reconnected a few things. The furnace is 20+ years old, so I asked him for a quote on a new one. He quoted a price for a furnace plus an A/C unit that was equal to what we’d gotten for just a furnace previously. He said he could install it in 5 days and that he’d come back if the old one stopped before then. He got it installed and running and will be back in early spring to fill the A/C with Freon. I highly recommend Dave for his skill, punctuality, dependability, communication, and organization. Use him - you won’t be disappointed!

We finally found someone who is honest and excellent. We had a different company install our furnace and AC through a home warranty and it was installed incorrectly. Dave came in and diagnose the issue within mins and solved it quickly. He was honest and is incredibly fair on pricing. Great guy and a great business.

Our heat stopped working Christmas Eve at 4pm. This angel of a human not only answered his phone but proceeded to walk me through troubleshooting my heater. He was making candy bags to prep hosting Christmas Eve at his home! He stayed on the phone with me until I confirmed that my heater was again working. I could cry thinking of his genuine kindness again right now. THANK YOU! I cannot recommend him, his honesty, and his HVAC expertise enough.

We got home from vacation and our air conditioner was out. David was over the next day, determined what was wrong and fixed it. Great service at a reasonable price. Will use him and his team in the future.

If you want someone responsive, trustworthy, and hardworking, Dave is your guy. He has come to fix a few things at our home and has done a great job each time. He responds quickly to questions and requests, fits you in to the schedule as soon as he can, and doesn't try to upsell you on things you don't need. Can't recommend Dave enough.

I had a fantastic experience with Dave who repaired the blown motor of my A/C unit. While it would have been easier to simply replace the entire unit, which would have been way more expensive, Dave expertly diagnosed the problem and replaced just the motor, saving me thousands of dollars. Highly recommended for his honest and efficient service!

Dave is a great guy! I called him trying to find out who installed the central air conditioner in my home 5 yrs ago. He couldn’t find any info in his records so he knew it wasn’t his company, but he went the extra mile and called the supply places where my unit came from. Using the serial # he was able to find the installers info and he found out we had a week left on the manufactures warranty!! He totally went the extra mile for us without us even asking! I contacted the original installer and he couldn’t get us in before the warranty was up, so I called Dave back and he made it work for us!! I would definately recommend him!

We needed our AC replaced this year and Dave was the first person I called. Dave was friendly, patient, and honest throughout the whole process. He kept our house clean during the install, and made sure I understood everything about the system before finishing the job. I will definitely use Dave again for any HVAC work, and would recommend him to family and friends.

David was very patient in answering all my questions and made me feel very comfortable that they would do an amazing job on the install. They were very meticulous on the install and made you feel that everything was done carefully and correctly. Hopefully I won't need to use David too soon in the future, but if I do I wouldn't hesitate to use him again!

Dave is definitively my go-to HVAC guy. I initially found him when looking for a whole home humidifier (which he did a great job on at a great price), but he has since helped with a number of other issues as they've come up. The things I really enjoy about working with Dave:
1. He is SUPER responsive. It is often very difficult to reach sole proprietors and I'm not interested in working with huge service companies.
2. His prices are very reasonable
3. He's been very willing to help me diagnose issues without charging me. For example, he showed me how to do the humidifier's annual maintenance, and on a separate occasion, he walked me through troubleshooting steps for my furnace.

I really value working with service people who I can build a relationship with and create a personal track record and trust over time. Dave is that guy.

Best experience ever with a contractor. I needed two AC units installed on my older home (1973) . There were a number of aspects of the installation that were technical and I was surprised by how reasonable of a quote I was given.

I had to leave for a vacation within a week and I wanted to have the AC installation done before I left. DSI HVAC came on a Thursday and worked through the weekend and the job was completed in just four days. With a 1 year warranty on parts and a 5 year warranty on labor, I'm definitely using them for any further HVAC projects.

Dave was recommended to me by a friend when I needed a full HVAC replacement at a rental property. I had already received an estimate from another company that seemed a little high. Dave's price was significantly better and he got the full installation knocked out within a couple of days, so my tenant had AC again. I ran into an issue with my bank while trying to make payment, but Dave was very patient and understanding while I sorted things out with my bank. He will definitely be my first call the next time I have an HVAC issue!

David gave the quote over the phone with no fuss, but asked to come look at the AC unit just in case. He came right on time (literally), was very friendly and polite. He inspected my broken AC compressor and coil and actually lowered his original quote. He suggested a few different options to relocate the AC compressor and gave the extra cost right on the spot so I could make a decision faster. He was able to reply to my texts over the weekend (at 7am even!), answered all my questions/concerns and was able to fix our problem the next day. David got our air working in one day, even though he worked until 9:30 at night to make sure everything was in order. He had to come back for a minor extra repair I asked him to do, which I thought was a nice touch and good customer service. I am definitely adding David to my contact list as HVAC expert going forward. Strongly recommend Proformance HVAC!

Dave responded quickly and got me on his schedule within a week. It was a small job adding a few supply vents to my unfinished basement. Price was very fair and workmanship was excellent and professional. Glad it worked out

Spent 2.5 hours but billed for 6.5. Have the security camera footage to prove it. They said I could talk to the owner before invoice then they auto charged my card on file from prior service. They said the work would take 2 hours then quoted me over $2200 for the fix. Worst service ever. Beware!!! I would give 0 stars if that was possible. This is the second time they have done this to me. Shame on me for not learning my lesson.
